This home is part of our family-run resort, it is a Lakefront two-story home which nests behind six cabins which are available to rent for large groups. The main house consists of five bedrooms and 4 baths. Private yet close to many amenities including shops, restaurants, public boat launches, and parks. This home is fully furnished in all the ways that make for a great carefree getaway for family and friends. Watch the sunset over Mt Konocti or fish or sit around the campfire. Free Wifi and Cable TV. Commercial grade coffee grinder and Starbucks espresso machine. Have great coffee and make yourself breakfast with the high end waffle maker that puts out a waffle every 90 seconds. Sit by the lake in the evenings or take a stroll on the private fishing pier. - "There were 16 of us so we had the main house and 2 cabins that met our needs perfectly. Everyone had a great time. The dock, the kayaks, the hot tub, the splash pad, the pool table, the ping pong table, the cornhole game and the fire pit, kept everyone busy. Of course the teenagers had wifi, so they were happy. The BBQ, double oven, two microwaves, two refrigerators, coffee grinder, expresso machine and the pizza oven made cooking easy for the 16 family members. We didn't use the large wok. We were all sad to leave after our 5 day 4 night stay. We were disappointed with the low lake and the overwhelming algae which made the lake unusable for us and a little smelly. The place was a little run down but it felt like home and we would definitely come again when the lake is higher."

The space
Cottages by the lake. Guaranteed clean and well maintained, the best deal in Lake County. Pet friendly, free WiFi and cable TV. Kayak rentals available for $35 a day. 150 ft pier to fish from or just sit and enjoy the sun. Splash pad and redwood deck to sit and have that margarita on a hot day. Lake house rooms available for groups from 6-12. There are numerous shops, restaurants and parks within walking distance. Safeway, Grocery Outlet and many salons are within a mile as is Catfish Coffee House a great place to hang out owned by a local artist Gloria de la Cruz.
Vista del Lago is a mid last century resort in the true sense of what people use to come to the lake for in the 1940's and 50's prior to the advent of inexpensive airfare and vacation cruises. We have continued to remodel and improve it over the years. It is a wonderful place but we are not like a Hyatt or an Napa Valley bed and breakfast. So come hang out by the lake, start a campfire if you want or just read a good book. Daily housekeeping is provided upon request.

The space
The stand-alone cottage is on Clear Lake Cottages & Marina, a lakefront resort with 40,000 gallon seasonal outdoor solar-powered saltwater pool, watercraft rentals (pontoon boats, bass boats, Waverunners and kayaks), BBQs, lakeside propane fire pit and picnic tables, fishing areas, coin-op laundry, and ice / vending machines. Seven cottages have kitchens; all have at least a kitchenette with microwave, Keurig coffeemaker and a 1/2 sized refrigerator with freezer.

Guest access
Guests have a private cottage (with or without patio) and have equal access to the swimming pool, BBQs, picnic tables, fire pit, fishing areas, coin-op laundry and ice machine / vending machine. The watercraft rentals on the property are exclusive to our registered guests.

Based on availability and with prior agreement with management, guests can arrange for early check-in and late check-outs for a fee of $59 each.
