Some 80+ years ago when this log cabin was originally built, hundreds of cabins dotted the lake shore and surrounding mountains, but today, this historic building is the only such family cabin on Clearlake that you can rent to relive that backwoods experience. Located on a five acre private estate in secluded honeymoon cove.

Our Family Cabin was quite large for cabins built in it's day, and includes three rooms. The front room is a large open dining room and living room with a Murphy bed hidden in the wall. On the right is kitchen, updated a bit but still rather vintage. In the back is a large bedroom with both a bunk bed and another Murphy bed that comes down from the wall. Both rooms have lake views and connect to a bathroom with a claw foot tub.

Ideal for small children as the lake has a gradual entry into the lake and they don't have to dive off a dock or wall to get into the water.

This is our Cozy Romantic Honeymoon Cottage Studio Cabin designed for 2 with a Double Bed, table and chairs, refrigerator, separate kitchen and ½ bath. The kitchen is fully appointed with stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The shower is enclosed with the entry just outside the cabin door. You can enjoy the privacy of your own little deck and charcoal BBQ or feel free to choose any of the seating vignettes on the property. They are ALL for your enjoyment! This cabin has no HVAC but heaters and fans are provided for your comfort. Wi-Fi available but bring a good book to RELAX and get away from it all for a while!

- "Great except the nasty water which you have no control over" - "I stayed in Cabin 3 with my girlfriend and pup for two nights. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Ron in person, but Bob, the property manager, is the quintessential host for anything you'd need. If you have any concerns, Bob will help and is always available and a genuine boon to the property. The cabin looks directly over the lake, and the view is spectacular. Site 3 is as-advertised in the photos--albeit, a new fridge, same functional stove, and adorable sleeping space. ***PLEASE NOTE*** The only complaint we had was with the electrical wiring the first night. PLEASE check the cabin setup for your safety. I didn't notice anything untoward until I saw that the fridge was plugged in to a power strip. This was odd, certainly, and after tracing the power source all the way back, the power was from a 2>3 connector (ungrounded to "grounded") outlet. This connector had warnings to never use if ungrounded (it was, and the grounding tab wasn't connected to anything) and never to be used with an extension cord. This was the first step in 3 separate extension cords daisy-chained together ending with the fridge. Needless to say, I was incredibly anxious and uneasy sleeping with that configuration. Thankfully, Bob was able to provide a dedicated, grounded power option for the fridge the next morning. In short, this is an absolutely beautiful property with a great host, and the best spot you can book on Clear Lake. Mind the electrical setup, and have a wonderful time. I'd highly recommend Cabin 3 for the rustic aesthetic in a gorgeous location."

This is the largest of our 1930’s Cabins and will sleep 11. The Great Room has an oval dining table with 6 leather chairs and can take a couple folding chairs to seat 8 next to windows with a stunning view of the lake. Also this large L shaped Great Room has 3 Bunk Beds that double as a Futon Couch during the day and makes into a Double/Full Bed at night with a Twin Bed up top. During the day, they are couches and at night beds giving plenty of seating space. The space
Casa de Cozumel is a beautiful Lakefront Home on Clear Lake just one hour north of the Napa Valley and 3 hours north of San Francisco. This listing is for lower floor guest suite with separate entrance, bath, kitchenette and bedroom and fireplace sleeps 5 ($150 -$225 per night). There is private patio, bbq , firepit, dining area that our guests have exclusive use of. We also give our guests exclusive use of the sundeck, dock, spa and lower patio. The kitchenette inside is small and is suitable for light use. As of February 2021 we have added a small Apt size stove/oven (with pots and pans) and refrigerator to an enclosed outdoor kitchen. There is also the following: compact under counter refer/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crock pot.
Most people use the bbq to grill and make salads etc.
We have one tandem kayak and one SUP available for our guests and you are welcome to bring your own kayak, canoes and PWC. If you plan on bringing a motorboat please inquire prior to arrival if space is available.
This property is perfect for couples, small family groups, friends and traveling professionals. You must be at least 21 to book this property or be a guest UNLESS you are traveling with a parent or guardian. In order to keep this listing available for travelers and holiday seekers we also do not allow residents of Lake County to book without prior permission of the host. The house rules are posted inside the space. We do ask that you be respectful and obey the quiet times of 11pm to 6am and follow the checkout procedures.

As of the spring 2023 we have plenty of water in front of our dock. During the summer months the water quality for swimming because of Algae blooms though can vary day to day. We will do our best to advise the lake quality but there are still plenty of activities, kayaking, fishing and soaking in the spa. We brought way more than we needed. The BBQ and outside grill were excellent and other than heating up previously made spaghetti sauce all our meals were prepared on the deck. There was plenty of seating inside, however really other than sleeping we were outside. More than enough seating outside. We had brought our own chairs and table for outside. You will not need to do that. We left ours in the vehicle. Any communication with the host went very easily. The response time was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lake house stay. We would love to go back."

Clear Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the State of California. Visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, boating, and riding jet skis. Individuals can rent boats and personal watercraft from several local businesses. Clear Lake can be found in beautiful Lake County, approximately 120 minutes northwest of Sacramento and 120 minutes northeast of San Francisco. For fourteen consecutive years Lake County has had the cleanest air in all of California. Winters are mild here, generally 40s and 50s and Summer temperatures are usually in the 80s and 90s.

The lake itself is truly magnificent. It stretches nearly twenty miles in length and includes over 100 miles of shoreline. Considered a “warm water” lake, the bass fishing is unrivaled as witnessed by the many fishing tournaments held here annually. The record large mouth bass caught out of this lake weighed a whopping 17.52 pounds!

Getting around
My property is located very close to the lake. A lot of sport activities nearby. A very quiet area not too far from downtown Kelseyville.

- "This vacation was a last minute pivot as we were scheduled to be in Pollock Pines but had to change due to the Caldor Fire. We found this gem of a place and reservations went smoothly. While at the property, we spent much of our time on the deck. Watching sunrises with coffee and sunsets/stars with local wine. The view is spectacular! The variety of deck furniture was appreciated. From the deck you can spot a number of different birds and the neighborhood was home to deer and quail as well. Great neighborhood for walking. You can get a good cardio workout on some of the hills nearby. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and the kitchen offered just enough utensils and cookware for us to make some very tasty dishes through the week. There are lots of great wineries to visit nearby and if you don't mind winding roads, I recommend a visit to the botanical gardens in Ft. Bragg and a walk through the redwoods. There is also an awesome Indian restaurant nearby and a friendly coffee shop that opens early for us early risers. The host, Raju, was quick to respond to messages."

- "Myself and my family had a Ball...We would love to come again..Great fishing right on your back porch dock and Fabolous Weather..." - "If you want to be away from the main town buzz, this is the place! Although it takes about 45 minutes to get to the state park, or a long time to get to any attractions, restaurants, etc., it provides the 'get-away' in a relaxing atmosphere. The house is big and nice and sleeps 12 on 2 floors. The kitchen is upstairs, so make sure you can go up and down the stairs several times. Equipped with games, television sets and several kitchen items, you don't have to go out if you don't want to, and have got enough food. We went to the Clear Lake state park for jet-skiing and restaurants. This was over the labor day weekend, and it may be due to that, that the places weren't over-crowded, nor were they empty. There is a 2-person kayak with 1 paddle that can split into 2. There are no life-vests, so take your own. The ramp was crooked, with a pipe and some obstacles jutting out, so we could not use that to lower the kayak into the water. However, the host arranged for us to use the neighbor's ramp. We swam in the water, which is not the cleanest (algae), but is refreshing. Be sure to not swallow any of it. There are 2 spacious decks, 1 on each floor, The upper deck is ideal for an evening wine, get-togethers or even dining. From the deck, you can see the entire lake in front of you. It's a great lake for fishing. Although we did not fish, I saw folks fishing directly from the decks of the other houses, and from little boats very close to this house."
