I stuffed myself with the best eggs benedict I have ever had! Its communal dining, so I was thrilled to speak with fellow travellers. The bed was more than comfortable and the shower was clean and stocked with shampoo and soap. I really cant say enough. Dennis was so nice. I told I wasnt drinking this weekend and he made sure to get me some non alchoholic beer without me even asking! I had a tear in my eye when I had to leave, and a yearning to make it back here soon. Its very centrally located to all the other vineyards. Its about 15 mins door to door, and just far enough from the frenzy. Book this place! You wont regret it! P.S. I stayed in the Peter Storm room. That stained glass bear is a rendition of his award winning California flag."

Casa Loma is located on the top of the ridge overlooking the whole Napa Valley, it has privacy and the best spectacular views of Napa Valley, yet you are only 7 minutes away from downtown Calistoga and its world-renowned wineries, restaurants, spas, hiking, and shopping.
The pool and 2,500 sq-ft deck sit on the cliffs with in-pool windows, so you can see the amazing views while diving. This house has all you need to enjoy your stay in wine country: privacy, views, ample space with big bedrooms, pool, hot-tub, a gourmet-fully equipped kitchen, etc.
On the main level you have 3 en-suites all with king beds.
On the top level you have the large master suite with its own balcony and a separate office that you can ask for access to for long stays working from home.

In the canyon behind the house we have 8-10 miles of private hiking trails.

The hot tub is always heated to 103F and it's included. The pool is normally warm from end of May to end of October by it self, but can always be heated at cost. Either order it at the time of booking or contact us about a week before arrival, when you know how the weather is going to be.
Casa Loma is located just outside Calistoga town in the northern part of Napa Valley, with the best weather in our opinion, especially during spring, summer and fall. Calistoga cools down much later in the evening than the southern part of the valley, which makes Calistoga better for outdoor dinners.

The house sits down a quiet country lane, on over one acre of rural undeveloped land -- offering seclusion but still close to cult wineries and gourmet restaurants. The living room, kitchen and dining area is in a comfortable open space - a place to hang out or cook together. A long wooden dining table seats 8. The grand master bedroom and sitting area with bath is on a separate wing of the house from the other two bedrooms -- 1 large spacious bedroom and a second bedroom with couch and TV. All rooms have high ceilings and the space is light and airy. Outside, the wrap around porch makes a perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or to enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon.

Cottage is completely surrounded by trees and is very private, offering a very peaceful getaway. It feels very remote but is very close to civilization. Neighbors are out of sight, but they are just beyond the trees.

• You'll have access to the entire house, minus couple of owner's closets
• Please feel free to use coffee, tea, spices and oils or anything else you find in the kitchen (Disclaimer: some of these items may have been left by other guests. Please check expiration dates and use at your discretion.)
• Please use the lockbox to store the key each time you leave the house instead of taking the key with you. If you lose the key, it may be a while before someone can come by with a spare key.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURE
• Please check out by 11am so that we can ensure it's ready for our next guests
• Close and lock all windows and doors
• Turn off heating/air conditioning
• Please run the dishwasher if you can. Other dishes not appropriate for dishwater (wooden cutting boards and utensils) can be left in the sink for the housekeeper.
• If you used extra bedding - air mattresses, futons, etc. - please deflate/fold and put them away where you found them
• Please leave bed unmade and any extra sheets, blankets, towels used should be left unfolded as to make it obvious it has been used (Just want to make sure they all get laundered between guests!)

Other things to note
The loft space is not heated/air conditioned. This is not a problem with CA weather. I've been able to sleep guests up in the loft all year round. In the summer, once the sun sets, temperature will dip. Open the windows, turn on the fan and let in the cool air. In the winter, use the space heater provided.

There is a game room attached to the living room with a brand new ping pong table. The open concept kitchen is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the views. There are no neighbors in sight and the home is very remote.

The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably - 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds. The main living space opens to an expansive wrap around deck with 6 Adirondack chairs. The dining area fits 6 with a cozy fireplace. Tucked on the side of the house is a 4 person hot tub.

Full access to the main house. You will not be able to access the garage, guest house and basement storage area. The guest house will not be rented but I may use it off and on (will give ample warning, 24hrs min, if I need to use or access it).
