Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. "The DOME" is a unique home with two master suites and a kid's room with a bunk bed. Two additional adult size cots stored in entrance closet for groups looking to spread out. Ample parking for trailers along with over two hundred feet of floating dock at the lake end of a private channel, this home is begging to host families for a vacation of fishing, kayaking, and watersports. One side of the property borders a Lake County Land Trust reserve with many species of herons, egrets, osprey, ducks, turtles, otters, deer and raccoons are routinely observed.

You can sit and watch all the birds from the couch. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Plenty of parking for your truck/boat in the driveway and boat ramp is half a mile from house. Great for family vacations, fishing, romantic getaways or just to relax and recharge. Screened in patio area for times mosquito's or gnats are out! House has just about everything you will need to have a stress-free relaxing stay. This Lakeport neighborhood is quiet and relaxing.

No pets at or in house for the health of our children whom suffer from moderate to severe pet allergies and this is our living space when not hosting guests. Full deposit will be kept if pets are present during your stay to cover extensive cleaning. There are other nice houses in the area that do allow pets.

For boaters: Boat launch is only 1/2 mile away and free to use. Tie your boat up on the dock at the house for easy access during your stay. Clear Lake is still No. 1 when it comes to bass fishing and holds many tournaments throughout the year. A quick boat ride to Konocti Casino and Marina for the tournaments that are hosted there. House located on channel right off the lake so when the lake is rough your boat will not get the effected by the rough waters.

Back Deck has a screened in patio area with comfortable outdoor furniture for relaxing. Great for the months where mosquitos are out. A large custom BBQ island with a gas BBQ, side burner, sink (rinsing only, no food down drain), mini fridge and bar stools for the BBQ island. A table, chairs, and umbrella to enjoy eating, playing games or just relaxing at. Along with a nice cozy area with an extra-large umbrella to kick back on comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings, chill and read a book, enjoy looking at the nature around you and a fire pit table to light in the evenings. Plenty of room in the house for everyone when you are done enjoying the outside.

If you have children, there are 2 parks in walking distance. Please keep in mind we do not have control over the weather or lake conditions throughout the different seasons. Lake condition, water level, clarity, and vegetation vary widely throughout the year.

If your vehicle (or anyone in your group) has an oil leak (or other fluids) please Do Not park in the driveway. Park in the rock area. Any damage done to pavers in driveway will be the responsibility of the person on the reservation to pay for replacement. Pavers that need to be replaced can be costly.

The lake house is a 2.5-hour drive from San Francisco and a little over 2 hours from Sacramento.

The outlook area is a great place to spend some quiet time. Upstairs bedrooms are great! All beds are comfy and clean. There are extra beds in 2 of the bedrooms that are not shown in the pics. Really unique features upstairs with some pirates hanging around. Overall, this is an incredible space with well thought out aesthetics and flow. Communication with owners are easy. It is our desire that all guests have an enjoyable time. We have fitted the house and amenities accordingly. We wish to ensure that we provide you with a 5 star stay!

The kitchen has everything you'll need for cooking ~ it is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, basic spices and olive oil. There is a BBQ grill on the upper deck. The dining table can seat up to 6 people with two at the kitchen bar and an additional six on the outdoor deck table.

INDOOR LIVING: Modern furnishings, natural light, interior lake views. Lower living space with flat screen Smart TV allows for some separate enjoyment time as well. Downstairs wet bar. Linens and towels provided.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Two covered decks with lakefront views, outdoor TV, pool/table tennis, hot tub, propane gas grill, lounge chairs, fire table and deck heater. Boat rental services are within walking distance from the house (during season) and a free community boat ramp access is nearby. You need to take care of vessel inspection before launching.

The lake is constantly changing; after several years of drought the lake is again full. However, the depth and condition of lake fluctuates with the seasons. We work to provide access to our floating dock and pier for your enjoyment but cannot guarantee lake level and condition.

GENERAL: 240v outlet in garage, free Wi-Fi, linens/towels, central heat & air conditioning, beach towels, hair dryers, first aid kit, trash bags, paper towels, pets welcome (with a fee). Separate laundry room with washer/dryer, ironing equipment. Free high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV and don't forget the outdoors!

PARKING: 1-2 car garage, Carport (2 vehicles), gated. Your boat trailer should fit. 240v outlet in garage; please bring your own cable/cord for EV.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Please follow all rules and regulations when it comes to checking in, the pool, and general house rules. The minimum age of the primary renter is 25 years old; the primary renter must be on property during the reservation period. A rental agreement provided by the host must be signed within 48 hours of booking; failing this, the reservation will be cancelled. Also be aware that there is a required $500 security deposit hold for all bookings (see house rules).

IMPORTANT: THERE IS NO GATE AROUND THE HOT TUB BUT IT IS COVERED. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN The pier and dock do not have railing. It is recommended that children wear flotation devices when playing on or around the pier or lake wall. * Due to the current drought and low lake levels the pier is high above ground and extreme caution should be used when entering the pier/dock area. You are responsible for the safety of guests, children, and yourself around all water (and current non water) areas.*

There are security Ring cameras at our house. There is one motion detector/security camera above the garage. The second is off the back deck for security and to monitor the lake water level for our docks.

This property is lakefront thus all types of wildlife visitors are to be expected. Though gated and secure, flood lights can be triggered by our furry visitors. Please keep all screen doors closed to decrease your annoyance of our flying friends. The house and deck are regularly visited by pest control and webbed but visits from multi-legged insects cannot be avoided.

We ask that you respect the house and just as important you must be respectful of the neighbor's privacy. That means, please take the party inside late at night. If this is not a guideline that is a good match, then we are not a good fit.

- "Our stay at The Lake was absolutely incredible, and we were reluctant to end our vacation. The house was ideal for our family, impeccably clean with a perfect style. It offered ample gathering spaces, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite the heat wave, the house remained cool and comfortable. Moreover, the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. There were numerous activities available to keep the whole family entertained, such as a pool table, games, and paddleboarding, among others. Each morning, we delighted in watching the sunrise from the deck, which overlooked the serene dock and the beautiful lake. One of the highlights was Disney Boats, which was conveniently within walking distance. We were able to have a boat with us throughout our stay. The location of the house on the quieter side of the lake was perfect for wakeboarding and towing the kids on a floatie with minimal water disturbance. We were also pleased to find various restaurants, Safeway, CVS, and even the Lakeport Speedway within walking distance. In fact, we walked to the Speedway on a Saturday. We couldn't get enough of the nearby attractions such as the charming bookstore, Renes, where we indulged in delightful malts and milkshakes, and Pogo's, where we relished scrumptious pizzas. All in all, we would definitely choose to stay at The Lake again without hesitation. It's a place we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot."

- "We had an incredible week visiting Clearlake with our teens. Our daughter rarely left the pool. Our son caught a big catfish right from the backyard! And we all enjoyed the jaccuzzi and firepit. We brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling in the calm waters. The kitchen is well stocked ... has all the basics plus lots of spices! The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet.
