Super Private Custom Built Home on 388 acres.

This is a one-of-a-kind vacation rental because of the level of privacy and the large piece of property that is exclusively yours to use and explore. You will have the entire property (388 acres) all to yourself to enjoy. note- (occasionally the landowners may be staying in a cabin at the other end of the property about 3/4 of a mile away but this does not disturb the privacy or quietness of the house) . The house is a beautiful custom built home with hardwood cherry floors, two large redwood decks, four bedrooms and two baths, a family room, living room, dining room and is in one of the most beautiful locations that you can imagine. It is like renting a park without any other people. Located in the redwood belt you can enjoy miles of trails along cascading streams and little waterfalls that run through fern covered redwood forests. Swim in the pond, bike or hike along the trails, (kids can catch crawdads in the pond). The quietness of the property is truly amazing and is like nothing you will find anywhere else.

Have an undisturbed family reunion in one of the most beautiful pieces of property that you will ever visit.

The custom built home is well maintained and has many homelike qualities. There is a gas barbeque for entertaining. A beautiful creek runs past the front of the house and two ponds are on the property. One of the ponds is only 100 feet from the house. There are numerous species of wildlife including hawks, owls, pond turtles, river otters, and great blue herons to name a few.

There are two decks, one is covered and faces the pond and the other faces a meadow with 250 year old oak trees. The kids can pitch a tent in the adjacent meadows and explore the forests and creeks while you lay in the hammock among the oak trees.

This rental is as close to a wilderness adventure as you can get without actually having to rough it.

Please no electric vehicle charging since we are off grid and our system can’t handle it.

Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day Fourth of July etc) are charged at normal summer rates and may have longer minimum stay periods.

- "Art was super nice and helpful! The property was gorgeous with redwood trees all around it and the house was fully stocked with anything you need kitchen and laundry wise. We swam in the pond and it felt surprisingly clean even though it’s a pond. Long drive in with gravel parts, but fun nonetheless! Lots of activities to do around the house such as frisbee golf, hot tub, rope swing, and hiking trails to name a few! The wifi worked perfectly and you could stream movies on the tv easily. Overall loved our stay!"

This is private property on a 40-acre ranch.

The guest house is two levels, three bedrooms, and one bathroom, the bathroom does not have a sink. The guest house sleeps seven people with one queen size bed and six twin size beds. The guest house has a small kitchenette with a microwave and dorm size fridge, an outside grill is available for cooking. Dinnerware and flatware are also provided. Free Wifi internet is available.

Very clean. The guest house and the bathroom have been sanitized with government-approved cleaning products before each guest's arrival, to protect against the Covid19 virus.

There is a wood stove for heat and we provide the wood. There is a window air conditioner that keeps the house pretty cool.

Amazing home with over 4700 Sq Ft of space for your group! This place is suitable for weddings, business receptions or just a nice get away! Situated on 10 acres, this fantastic home is full furnished for your vacation use! Dramatic rooms with painted domes in the downstairs makes your feel like you are in another world! 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths for your use. There is a huge master bedroom on the first floor. Lovely courtyards with fine plantings and walkways complete the Redwood Glen Castle.

There may be someone staying at the Apartment at the Castle. Please greet them! The other people may be in the apartment above the 3 garages. It will not where you will stay.

Enjoy the Redwood Glen Castle! I hope you come back! We have people that have come to the Redwood Glen Castle three times! It's very spacious! Five bedrooms 3 1/2 baths. Game table top in the family room for poker with chips. One bedroom has bunks in it with a bathroom shared with the king room upstairs. You have to go through another room to get to the bunk room.

- "We enjoyed the Redwood Glen castle on August 18 through the 20th of 2023. Our motorcycle club was amazed at the beautiful castle courtyard and the spacious parking area outside. The three car garage space was also great to park 8 Harley‘s in it. all of the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. These guys said that the sleeping accommodations suited us with there being eight individual beds. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the courtyard at night, sharing some beers and drinks. A great Get away after riding all day up the California coast. if we ever think of going up that way again, we will look into renting the Redwood Glen Castle for sure . Thank you, Richard G."

Two lakes are just a ten minute stroll away, one is stocked with trout for fishing. This lovely home is just what you need to reset.

- "4 days in Willits for business I decided to stay in this wonderful home instead of the normal motels in town. Jennifer is a great host and was very easy to communicate with. This house has everything you’ll need for any type of trip. The A/C worked very well in every room and the internet was flawless. The main room has such a relaxing vibe with the floor to ceiling glass, slider out to the main deck and the redwood trees. The kitchen is well equipped and open to the main room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. The pool table room was an awesome addition. There are some great hiking trails right out the door that we explored a little but not nearly enough. This is a great rental and I will be looking to return here whenever I’m in the area. "

The space

This large four bedroom, three bath custom built home centers around a two-story open floor chef's kitchen/living room- overlooked by a balcony level entertainment/pool table room. Large windows in open room, primary bedroom, bath and upstairs bedroom along with deck and hot tub open to southern exposure, with spectacular views from other bedrooms as well.

House has a two story bedroom with large, sturdy wood bunkbed with full size mattresses, plus a ladder and railing to loft queen mattress. Primary bedroom with king Tempurpedic bed has glass sliders to heated outdoor shower (no shower in separate master-bath) and a new free standing bathtub with beautiful views from bay windows plus 7 person hot tub with views outside near bedroom sliders. We added a small four foot deep saltwater unheated pool off the front deck (24’x12’), perfect for cooling off all day and gazing at the lovely views down the valley at the surrounding the wooded mountains ringing the valley.

The house is surrounded by several fully deer fenced acres with gates perfect for pets to explore and run.

There is a tetherball court on grass near the house, along with a horseshoe court.

The large deck with dining tables overlooks part of the valley floor with a massive, ancient and gnarled Valley Oak tree (largest oaks in the US) with a netted tire swing where push your children or lie back yourself and swing while looking up at the sky through the tree. Nearby on the property is a winter seasonal creek bed with a small 50’ zipline accessible and suitable for children.

The house is gated down a long private driveway with fencing providing privacy from the private road shared by only a handful of similar large property out of sight homes.

The house is off-grid solar powered with a large biodiesel/diesel backup generator for use if daily solar power energy gets depleted. Home has new radiant floor heating. Wood fireplace is available for use during wet season.

Kitchen is equipped with massive custom chef's stove along with brand new high end, farmhouse basis sink, refrigerator, built-in dishwasher, drink fridge, concrete island with separate sink, along with new kitchen cutlery etc.

Guest access
Guests are required to remain on the 50 acre property during their stay beyond driving in and out of the property along the association’s shared private road and are not allowed to explore the private roads of the association which are others’ private property and we are not authorized to drive or walk along.

Other things to note
Mendocino county requires a 11% hotel tax (ToT+BID) be collected on all stays shorter than 31 nights. Host will collect this tax separately.

- "But the owners should consider having it professionally cleaned. The windowsills were filthy and had dead bugs on them. The dining table had something sticky on it. The floors may have been vacuumed but definitely were not mopped. Every single light switch was dirty. The fridge had funk and fingerprints on it. And the heater in the master shuts off if you try and set it any lower than three. So you get pretty warm or no heat at all. And downstairs is just the fireplace for heat. Was not explained in property description. Just said heating and fireplace. And internet went out 1st night so we couldn’t use the tv. Owner is very nice and responsive but doesn’t have an eye for cleanliness."

Casa Avena sits on just under ½ acre on this quiet street with only 6 neighbors. Lots of sun and wildlife all around us. We share the property with the does and their fawns, yearlings and 2 year olds. At night there are a billion stars.
The room is small with a ceiling fan, one window overlooking the back lot, a small closet and dresser. There is a small antique desk that you may use. The bookshelf is full of books which you can feel free to peruse. This room is adjacent to my other Airbnb room which may also be occupied. If it is, you and the other guest will share the full bathroom.

Willits is the gateway to the redwoods, just north of the wine country and 1 hour to the Mendocino coast. Open roads and fresh air beckon guests to explore our country valley. Brooktrails Golf course is just 5 minutes drive, you can play disc golf among majestic ancient redwoods.

Visit the unique shops in the historical part of town just 2 blocks away, take a local tour of some private and amazing 420 agriculture in season, or curl up with a book under the grape arbor. In downtown Willits, within 5 minutes walk, there are cafés, shops, Skunk Train, a historical museum, live theater, hiking trails, and several lovely parks. There is always something to do and see in Willits. It is a friendly town, people stop to visit on the street.

Centrally located for day trips around the area. Drive north to the massive redwood trees on the Avenue of the Giants, ride the famous Skunk Train, find wine tasting all around, or take a short drive to the Pacific Ocean and the quaint village of Mendocino. All these experiences are close by.


The Neighborhood
The west side of Willits is the oldest and historical area of our little valley. This beautiful section of town is a quiet place to stroll and admire the variety of architectural styles, from stately Victorians to charming Craftsman bungalows. It is a sweet pretty neighborhood a few minutes from downtown.

Other things to note
The no-flush toilet does not waste fresh drinking water with flushing. It is almost like a regular toilet - easy to use, and the wave of the future for you to check out today! Instructions for use are simple. I will explain further before or after booking.

Quaint little guest unit in walking distance to the Skunk train depot and downtown Willits. It has its own private fenced in yard as well as a large shared patio area. It is a studio lay out with a cal king bed and a sofa bed. Has a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. On the property we have ducks and chickens. (They are free range, so watch your step) Pet friendly, however there is an additional $10 fee.

The laundry room is available to you during your stay. However it is shared with my family of 6. If you are interested in using it during your stay please communicate with me and I will make sure to have it cleaned out and available to you. Thank you.

We are still in construction mode in back yard. There is dirt and wood shavings in the yard entering the building.

Park in front of the rv and the key will be in the door.
Please leave key in the door unlocked when you leave. Thank you.
In the winter, please take off shoes before entering.
Please turn everything off each time you leave.
The rv is cumfy n cozy for a couple, and a family with kids and pets! I provide two dog beds n treats.
There is also puzzles n cards n games for the kiddos. I also suggest you drive just a short distance to do your outdoor activities as the rv is in a quiet residential area in the woods.

Just a note: If the kids run n jump in rv it will shake.

Other things to note
The transient occupancy taxes are billed separately as Mendocino county does not allow air bnb to auto deduct it. They are 11percent.
Please pay for the room and the taxes before arriving.

There is a queen bed, two bunk beds and the kitchen table can be folded out into a bed.
I also bought a fold out cot. The top bunk has a maximum weight capacity of 150lbs.

It says 3 bed 2.5 bath but that’s how it populates if you put more than one photo in the description.
It’s actually a queen bed next to a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and then another set of bunk beds at the opposite end with another 1/2 bathroom with a sink and toilet.

If multiple appliances are used at once, the breaker will trip.
Please use just one at a time.

We have high standards regarding cleanliness and aesthetics. We think about what we’d like as guests and we do our very best to make our visitors feel at home. We really enjoy hosting and sharing our beautiful ranch with others.

We have a brand new refrigerator/freezer. We have one extra roll-up mattress in the closet, if needed.
The tiny house is fully equipped for cooking and the beds are very comfortable. There is a small tv and we always provide reading materials.
We also have outdoor furniture and small blankets that can be used while stargazing.

The space
A whole house to yourself, fully fenced-in private space with your own entrance, 2 designated parking spots, front & back yards, a deck with a bar for entertaining and an outdoor barbecue.
Inside you’ll find a wood burning stove, a hidden clawfoot bathtub in the living room, a full kitchen, bathroom with shower and 2 bedrooms. A cozy 800 square foot newly-remodeled space which comfortably sleeps 4 people. 420 friendly.
Contact us for a tour of the gardens, chickens, or a stroll down to the year-round creek.
We provide a full kitchen setup that includes kitchenware to prepare your own meals as well as coffee, tea, seasonings, herbs and oils.
We will be providing a washer & dryer soon, but for now we offer laundry service for longer stays. It’s on the property but not in the Airbnb yet.
A fire can be set in advance if you let us know. Wood is provided.
Wifi password will be found inside, flat screen tv with Netflix and workstation desk in the living room. Epsom salt and essential oils are available for the bath. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels. There is 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds with linens.

Head east up Little Lake from the stop light on Hwy. 1 in Mendocino. Drive 4.5 miles passing the school at one mile, and the CalFire station at about 4 miles. Chug along event though you feel like you might be lost, and go down and through a few turns passing Outlaw Springs Road on your right. As you climb to the crest of the hill and you are getting close. (Do not go down the driveway with the wrong numbers, even if your GPS tells you to!) You will drop down into a couple more turns and see the street numbers 40500 and a sign saying Heartwood Mendocino on your left at a redwood fence. Go in that opening and stay to your right. You will pass by Ellie's Farmhouse. Don't park there! Drive slowly past that house and you'll see the bath house, the outdoor kitchen and the tent cabins.

Park in the designated area and walk over to your cabin which is marked and a tag with your name will be on the front door. (Cabin #7) .

Cabin 7 sits on the far side of the bath house/common room and it has a copper colored roof. It is the middle cabin of the three with copper roofs. It is on the upper edge of the camping meadow and faces west.

We are happy to serve as your personal guides on private wilderness trails, direct you to easy walks on our un-paved quiet road, guide you to our special spots for sitting on a rock contemplating the view of seemingly endless wilderness, while surrounded by singing birds, fresh air and ocean breezes. At night we invite you to sit on the porch in the moonlight or under the canopy of stars which pop out brilliantly in this place of no streetlights.

Our lovingly landscaped gardens are open to you for strolling, sitting, contemplation. Our fruit trees provide delicious fruit in season, which we are happy to share with you. The Gardens have been a popular feature on charitable garden tours.

You are invited to experience off-grid living in a thoroughly modern home with all the amenities. Electricity has never been available here, so for the past 33 years we’ve been building up our own abundant solar generating system, backed up by generator on cloudy winter days. Solar energy pumps our pure and delicious well water, and solar water heating is on the roof. Weather permitting, we heat, cool and cook with solar in addition to pumping our well water, powering lights and appliances.

This ranch/retreat is perched on a rocky mountain top in the spectacular coast range wilderness 2.5 hours north of San Francisco. We have panoramic views (from your private space too!) of big mountains, forest, and ocean with abundant wildlife and lots of hummingbirds. This is an ideal Nature Lover's, Writer's, Musician's & Painter's spot; perfect for a Birthday, Anniversary, Honeymoon or Special Getaway with your Sweetheart, Best Friend, or Best Traveling Buddy. Terrific home base for visiting Redwoods, Wineries, Festivals, Coast and Hiking Trails all over the County.

The Guest Suite, like the entire house, is a bit of an art gallery/museum of our personal travels around the world as anthropologists; and contains a portion of our precious personal reference library.

The Suite was built with steel framing - recycled cars - rather than wood, the oak & redwood trim came from down trees on the property, milled on site. The ceiling is redwood, made from the wood of a huge old water tank. The floor is sustainably sourced Oak. The house was designed and built by Thomas F. Bingham, of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. The Guest Suite was designed by Thomas F. Bingham and built by Jay Fraser of Willits.

This is a fabulous destination in and of itself. Most visitors settle in and do not leave until their restful stay is over. The acoustics are great for singing and non-amplified musical instruments, hence the many house concerts we have hosted here.

A good flashlight is a must for after dark, there are no street lights anywhere, no next-door neighbors. We can provide flashlights for you. If you wish, you can relax on the west deck after dark, soaking in the vast sky on a clear night, and marveling at occasional shooting stars. Definitely bring binoculars if you are into enjoying our terrific birding. Don't forget your camera! Prepare for spectacular Sunrises, and long, lavish, lingering Sunsets where the sun slips into the ocean before your eyes. Wildflowers and stargazing are all superlative.

We love spontaneity, so we welcome short notice bookings.

Though our retreat is on top of a mountain in the breathtaking California outdoors, we are easier to reach than you may suspect. Our property is only 8 miles from Highway 101, 12 miles from the south end of Willits. It is quite convenient to arrive by a rental or personal car. Don't worry about getting here with a city car - I drive a Prius on the route you will take. The big UPS truck comes here daily. The road from the highway is all paved; except for a short, mostly flat, 1 mile private road from the community gate to our driveway, which is paved in all the tough spots. When you follow the detailed directions we provide, to get to the house, make sure you take the designated road which is all pavement from the highway to the Yellow Gate.

Internet is adequate for your getaway vacation. We get our broadband wireless signal from a ridge-top source, 6 air miles to the east of us, line of sight. We are grateful to have the best internet outside of the city limits. Much of this county has little to none, mostly due to the landscape; the forest, the mountains, the canyons, and the small, rural population.

As your hosts, we hold space for your goals for this experience. If you wish to interact with us, we are available. If you seek privacy, that's perfect with us as well.

For your health and comfort, and that of others, this is a pet/domestic animal-free, non-smoking (everything), firearm-free and drug-free property.

Willits (and Ukiah also) has an abundance of excellent restaurants, a book of menus is on your coffee table, and in this listing's guidebook section. It is 25 minutes driving on a mountain road to Willits, so you might seriously consider dining before you arrive, or bringing your dinner - you'll likely not want to leave once you get here, and most of Willits rolls up the sidewalks at 9 pm.

We can easily make the extra refrigerator available for you, especially for longer than overnight stays, so plan on bringing food with you, and sharing our humble country kitchen, if you wish. Please share these requests ahead of time with us, so we can properly prepare.

Gardens & Porches: In addition to the spacious 836 square foot Private Suite, you, our honored and treasured guests, may explore the lovingly landscaped domestic Gardens where you will find abundant seating in sun or shade. Most outdoor and enclosed Porch spaces are available to you; if in doubt, please ask!

Kitchen: If you wish to use our humble country kitchen please let us know in advance so that we can arrange our own meal preparations around yours. We retire early, so please plan to play in the kitchen between 10 am and 8 pm.

Fresh fruit may be offered, from our vines and trees, in season and subject to availability.

Laundry: If you are on an extended stay and wish to use the washer or dryer, please ask us for assistance in setting up and operating them. Please - no shoes in the dryer, ever. It is reserved for freshly laundered clothing and linens. We are consciously conserving water, due to the serious & ongoing drought.

West Deck: The famous and amazing west deck in so many of the photos is available to you at any time, with easy access from your space through your half of the huge wrap-around glass porch. Find a table, take your food, a book, your flute or guitar - and sit contentedly out there, appreciating the spectacular view, and the serenity.

Trails & Town: We are happy to recommend walking, hiking, entertainment, dining and shopping venues to you! This is our home and we are actively involved in our community.

We are delighted to respect the privacy of our guests should they desire to be left alone and not wish to engage with us. Some people stay here for quiet retreats, others to be more social. We provide the space for either, and it is our pleasure to do so!

We thoroughly enjoy meeting new friends from all over! We've been hosting international visitors for decades, have experience in resort management. We also host SERVAS travelers and have greatly enjoyed the exchange of ideas and experiences. We love traveling the world in the Airbnb fashion, and pass on to you the "welcome home" we have personally experienced.

We will be in residence at all times during our guests' stay, and accessible as you wish. Please arrive between 4 pm and 9 pm*, so that we can personally greet you, answer any questions and introduce you to the features of your space.

*Returning Guests are welcome to do "late arrival", as you already know where everything is, and how it all works! Do let us know that you'll be coming in late, and we'll see you in the morning!


Frank Lloyd Wright named his homes Taliesin, meaning "shining brow" for the way they are neither built atop or below a hillside, but rather at the midway point, looking out at the vast landscape beyond, as much a part of the environment as the hill itself.

Other things to note
We are off-grid, which means we make all our own power with solar panels; generator as backup. Public utilities have never been available here, so this is like living on a ship at sea; but grounded in the total wilderness. We offer you the experience of living off-grid for a time, in a thoroughly modern home. Our pure, delicious water is pumped by solar power from a 360' deep well; then up to the top of the mountain so that gravity flow gives us excellent water pressure in the house. We are grateful for this precious resource, often scarce in this region of frequent drought.

Prepare to unplug from most media during your visit. We do not have TV here, and cell service can be limited by terrain in many areas. We are delighted to have a good signal, right here, on the mountain. Not all cell providers cover this rural mountainous region. GSM mobile carriers such as AT&T and T-mobile do not always work here, so prepare to use wi-fi to make your mobile calls, if needed. If you wish to watch movies, please watch your favorites on your laptop. For your entertainment, we recommend you also bring favorite reading materials, games, musical instruments, and art materials. Or delve into our extensive books and music library.

Please note that our residence is not appropriate for guests with mobility issues. There are 20 stairs to access the house. This is a vast wilderness area. We are in the mountains, surrounded by gardens, forests and rock outcroppings that require good walking shoes, good balance and coordination. We are at 3000 feet elevation.

We enjoy four distinct seasons, each with its own individual wonders and delights! Winter can, at times, be cold, wet, peaceful, or excitingly stormy here in the mountains. We have friends who drive a very long distance to experience the high energy of a storm here. We get just enough occasional snow in winter to be beautiful, rarely - but occasionally - inconvenient. There is really no way to predict winter weather more than a couple weeks ahead of time. We are coastal, which means that temperatures are mostly moderate. Rain storms that come off the ocean are exciting in this mostly glass house. We love the rain, when it happens! We usually have a series of winter rain storms, with days of lovely weather in between. After a rain it is lovely to put on our waterproofed hiking shoes and walk in the forest, appreciating the fragrance, the beauty of the leaves, and looking for whatever exotic mushrooms appear overnight under the trees.

Also, In the middle of winter we usually have a couple weeks of warm sunny weather every month.

Snow is occasional, and when it happens it is usually light, always beautiful, and usually disappears too quickly.

Except for the few hottest days, it can be delightfully cool at night, and the refreshing breeze from the ocean is ever present.

The space
This is a one-of-a-kind vacation rental because of the the large piece of property (388 acres) that is yours to use and explore. The house is a beautiful custom built home with hardwood cherry floors, two large redwood decks, four bedrooms and two baths, a family room, living room, dining room and is in one of the most beautiful locations that you can imagine. Located in the redwood belt you can enjoy miles of trails along cascading streams and little waterfalls that run through fern covered redwood forests. Swim in the pond, bike or hike along the trails. The quietness of the property is truly amazing and is like nothing you will find anywhere else. Have a quiet family reunion in one of the most beautiful pieces of property that you will ever visit.

The custom built house was our home at one time and has many homelike qualities. There is a large play set for the children and a gas barbeque for entertaining. A beautiful creek runs past the front of the house and two ponds are on the property. One of the ponds is only 100 feet from the house. There are numerous species of wildlife including hawks, owls, pond turtles, river otters, and great blue herons to name a few.

There are two decks, one is covered and faces the pond and the other faces a meadow with 250 year old oak trees. The kids can pitch a tent in the adjacent meadows and explore the forests and creeks while you lay in the hammock among the oak trees.

This rental is as close to a wilderness adventure as you can get without actually having to rough it.

Rate is 450 plus tax per night May 1 to October 15 and 350 plus tax per night October 16 to April 30. 300 dollar security deposit refunded after your stay. 195 plus tax cleaning fee per stay. Three night minimum especially on holidays but will accommodate shorter stays upon request when we can.
More than 10 guests can be accommodated with owners agreement. There is an extra small charge for more than 10 guests. Camping in area surrounding house but no campfires. There are seven beds (two kings, three queens, two twins and a small sofa bed. One queen bed is in family room and not private. Sofa bed in living room is not private either. If you have more than twelve or thirteen people you will need to sleep on a couch or bring your own sleeping pads or air mattresses for the family room.

This large four bedroom, three bath custom built home centers around a two-story open floor chef's kitchen/living room- overlooked by a balcony level entertainment/pool table room. Large windows in open room, primary bedroom, bath and upstairs bedroom along with deck and hot tub open to southern exposure, with spectacular views from other bedrooms as well.

House has a two story bedroom with large, sturdy wood bunkbed with full size mattresses, plus a ladder and railing to loft queen mattress. Primary bedroom with king Tempurpedic bed has glass sliders to heated outdoor shower (no shower in separate master-bath) and a new free standing bathtub with beautiful views from bay windows plus 7 person hot tub with views outside near bedroom sliders. There is an unheated pool just off the front deck (24’x12’), depth 4’, perfect for cooling off all day and gazing at the lovely views down the valley at the surrounding the wooden mountains ringing the valley. The water is comfortable from late spring through most of October.

The house is surrounded by several fully deer fenced acres with gates perfect for pets to explore and run.

There is a tetherball court on grass near the house, along with a horseshoe court.

The large deck with dining tables overlooks part of the valley floor with a massive, ancient and gnarled Valley Oak tree (largest oaks in the US) with a netted tire swing where push your children or lie back yourself and swing while looking up at the sky through the tree. Nearby on the property is a winter seasonal creek bed with a small 50’ zipline accessible and suitable for children.

The house is gated down a long private driveway with fencing providing privacy from the private road shared by only a handful of similar large property out of site homes.

The house is off-grid solar powered with a large biodiesel/diesel backup generator for use if daily solar power energy gets depleted. Home has new radient floor heating. Wood fireplace is available for use during wet season.

Kitchen is equipped with massive custom chef's stove along with brand new high end, farmhouse basis sink, refrigerator, built-in dishwasher, drink fridge, concrete island with separate sink, along with new kitchen cutlery etc.

House has Starlink satellite internet which is fast and reliable so guests should not have difficulty conducting video work calls during their stay.
