Everything else is great. No parking assigned to the Inn, but street parking was not a major issue. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if I made another trip to Napa."

There is a pool, which I imagine would be nice, if there wasnt so much more to do in the daytime. Breakfast was an eggs benedict and fruit spread treat. I stuffed myself with the best eggs benedict I have ever had! Its communal dining, so I was thrilled to speak with fellow travellers. The bed was more than comfortable and the shower was clean and stocked with shampoo and soap. I really cant say enough. Dennis was so nice. I told I wasnt drinking this weekend and he made sure to get me some non alchoholic beer without me even asking! I had a tear in my eye when I had to leave, and a yearning to make it back here soon. Its very centrally located to all the other vineyards. Its about 15 mins door to door, and just far enough from the frenzy. Book this place! You wont regret it! P.S. I stayed in the Peter Storm room. That stained glass bear is a rendition of his award winning California flag."

However, the look is deceptive, as the grounds are well kept, and the rooms spacious and clean. This was our 3rd time at Golden Haven, and each time has been a pleasant experience. For this trip, we had a room over the main building. The room was large with a king sized bed and plenty of room to move around. Refrigerator, coffee machine, and microwave were all included. The bed was comfortable, and the shades kept out the sunlight. The only slight knock for me was the bathroom was a bit small, though could be my personal preference. Check-in was very easy, as was check-out. The staff are friendly and efficient. The parking when you enter is a bit tight, though there is a large parking area in the back of Golden Haven. There is a large, heated pool plus jacuzzi's. Unfortunately, we did not get in this time due to our schedule. There is an outdoor sun deck over the pool with multiple lounge chairs. There are various fire pits around the property with seating, and a large area behind the hotel with stuff for kids and adults to do. Ping Pong, Cornhole, and bikes for guests to rent. Of course the highlight of Golden Haven is the mud bath package. My wife and I did the package that included mud baths, a refreshing mineral jacuzzi dip after that, and then into a relaxing room where we laid down with music. "

4-panel sliding doors open onto 900 sq. ft. of kiln-dried cedar decking surrounding a 20 ft. Modpool container pool with its own window peering out to the Mayacamas Mountains. Comfortable Restoration Hardware furniture is organized to create lounge seating for four around a large fire pit at the edge of the deck, a covered dining area for six and a separate covered lounge for those few and far between rainy days.
