We toured the property’s bee hives and gardens and were spoiled by COO Michael Ford there and then throughout the rest of our trip. We went on the Little Green Thumb garden tour with Chef Jeffrey Jake. My daughter and I had the most amazing afternoon with him while my husband enjoyed the spa. We had anticipated needing to leave the resort throughout the long weekend to keep our daughter occupied, but there was so much to do and eat and enjoy onsite that we hardly touched our car. - "This is a truly one of a kind property. We stayed here with our two year old for most of Christmas and had dinner in the Bear every single night. The food there is excellent, we had the crispy rice, with lamb shank, wagyu short rib, and even specials on some nights (snapper, sea bass). For our child, they had great options too. The breakfast is also amazing. You just can’t go wrong with food here. As for the property. Amazing massage treatments with Jordan, great relaxation facilities (multiple pools, daybeds etc). The ranch hands are extremely helpful and the cottages are very well taken care of and impeccably kitted out. A fantastic Christmas :) oh and don’t forget to pet the chickens. We will be back."

They made us sit outside with the dog until it started raining but once we got inside, the couple next to us had their dog and had been inside the whole time. We chose this property because of its location on the river - it was close to town but the view from our room was all of nature and we could take early morning walks along the river.
