- "This is a truly one of a kind property. We stayed here with our two year old for most of Christmas and had dinner in the Bear every single night. The food there is excellent, we had the crispy rice, with lamb shank, wagyu short rib, and even specials on some nights (snapper, sea bass). For our child, they had great options too. The breakfast is also amazing. You just can’t go wrong with food here. As for the property. Amazing massage treatments with Jordan, great relaxation facilities (multiple pools, daybeds etc). The ranch hands are extremely helpful and the cottages are very well taken care of and impeccably kitted out. A fantastic Christmas :) oh and don’t forget to pet the chickens. We will be back."

- "It was great and more than expected." - "We had our dog. She was treated like a queen! I was a little disappointed with one of the onsite tasting rooms. They made us sit outside with the dog until it started raining but once we got inside, the couple next to us had their dog and had been inside the whole time. We were grateful for the many options of food available for breakfast and the nice atmosphere in the common area where we ate. We enjoyed hours in the pool and hot tub. The fact that the pool is relatively small and not too deep, but warm, made it possible for everyone in our party, even the weak swimmers, to feel safe and enjoy themselves. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there were guests who smoked in the inner courtyard and left their cigarette butts lying around. Since this was advertised as a non-smoking facility, I was a bit disappointed to have to experience the smokers and their debris. They dropped their butts onto the (inactive) fire ring in the courtyard, which I thought was going to be lit, for guests to enjoy some outdoor time by the fire. All in all though, we are still happy we came, and I think it was great value for the money!"
