The flat is accessed from a private entrance directly in front of your reserved parking space. There is a small yard in front of your entrance, with Adirondack chairs, a dining table, and a gas grill for this space. There is a flight of stairs to reach the flat.
Once you are in the unit, there is an open floor plan with the living room and kitchen connected. The dining area is between the two. The living room has a leather couch with a *fold out* queen bed. This bed has wood slats for head and torso, but due to the thinner mattress common to a fold out bed, it is best for smaller persons and children. There is a 55 inch 4k flat screen TV in this room connected to a roku box. There are several free channels with films, news, family programs, etc available on the roku, or just log in with your preferred on-demand service. Internet is via wifi, which is connected to a 1 Gbs fiber-optic service from Sonic.

Built in 1870, our Fair Street Retreat is part of one of the oldest houses in Petaluma. We are located just 3 blocks from Downtown Petaluma. This rustic, cozy cabin (we call it "The Cabin" aka the "Love Shack") at Stemple Creek Ranch in West Marin is delightful. It is just a few miles from the ocean, has a private deck with BBQ, kitchenette, loft for sleeping, and views of the countryside that stretch for miles. We have three other lodgings on the ranch - a 2 person "Rustic Studio Cottage" and a 6 person "Charming Farmhouse" and a 10 person "Zia's Farmhouse."

Stemple Creek Ranch is a family-owned and operated organic cattle ranch in Tomales, CA, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. We raise grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb and pastured pork.
This cabin is a refurbished old bunkhouse with a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub/shower, kitchenette with a small sink, 2 burner gas stove, and small refrigerator, a loft for sleeping (queen-sized bed and twin bed), pull-out couch downstairs (queen sized bed - very good quality pull out couch, very comfortable), and a private deck with a BBQ and outdoor seating.

The cabin is just a few miles away from the town of Tomales, just off Highway 1 (Shoreline Highway), and a great home base for exploring Marin or Sonoma Counties.

Stemple Creek Ranch is in the heart of the cheese, wine, oysters, and coastline of both Marin and Sonoma Counties. Visitors love to go kayaking, hiking, and enjoy the local wine, oysters, and cheese.

There is plenty of parking at the cabin. There is no public transportation in the area, a car is required for getting around.

Generally, Verizon and AT&T cell service works fine. We have satellite-based wifi on the ranch.

- "Beautiful place. The cabin slept 5 comfortably. There was not a microwave which was not a problem for us. We used the toaster oven and the two stove burners for what we needed. I was excited to take a bath in the clawfoot tub, but it was a little more rustic than expected. Spider webs and a few spiders, no tub stopper and water was restricted anyway so I opted out on that. Shower was perfectly adequate. I can't say enough about the charm and beauty of this place. The nights were cool and comfortable for our June stay. The views of birds, flowers and cattle were wonderful. We didn’t want to leave. I hope to return!"

This farmhouse is a refurbished old house with tons of charm. There are 2 bedrooms plus a queen-sized bed pull out couch that is very good quality and very comfortable, and a beautiful private garden and covered patio.

The ranch is just a few miles away from the town of Tomales, less than a mile away from Highway 1 (Shoreline Highway), and a great home base for exploring Marin or Sonoma Counties.

Please note: no pets, no smoking, no open flames. We have a smart TV but no cable.

We have two other rentals and an on site manager - they are in the same general vicinity. While it is possible to come to the ranch and not see another person, we can't promise that.

First of all, if you think the photos are beautiful you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that the home is even more beautiful in person. The gardens are carefully manicured and structure/furnishings of the house top quality overall. There aren't a lot of things that family members varying in ages can enjoy together but between the pool (w/ waterslide!), elegant dining areas (both indoor/outdoor), and recreational activities such as movie viewing room, tennis court (where we played pickleball) and basketball court, there's something for everyone. Our weekend experience was incomparable...had we stayed at a hotel resort we would've been isolated in our own rooms and had meals in public areas whereas this way we bought our own groceries and had every meal together in our private 'home.' Welcome to Wine Country! Our home is walking distance to downtown Petaluma, kayaking, local shops and restaurants. We are a 45 minute drive north of San Francisco at the entrance of both the Napa and Sonoma wine regions. You’ll love coming home and relaxing in a newly renovated 1947 bungalow complete with cozy fireplace, hardwood floors, claw-foot tub, outdoor gas fire-pit and modern kitchen. Our place is perfect for couples, singles and business travelers who desire the comforts of home.

The house is a single level 2bd/1ba 1300 sqft home in the historic east side of Petaluma. It is an open floor plan where the living room, dining room and kitchen are all connected. The TV room is separated by sliding 1920's glass doors which open on to the living room. The house has Heat/AC unit in addition to the gas stove in the living room and ceiling fans throughout.

The backyard has a patio, built in gas fire pit and outdoor seating to relax in.

The master bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and patio doors to the backyard. The guest bedroom has a custom made queen size murphy bed with an organic cotton queen size mattress.

The bathroom has an antique 5 1/2 foot long claw-foot tub for a nice soak or to stand in for a modern shower. Shampoo/Conditioner, hand soap, linens and hair dryer are provided.

There are hardwood floors throughout the house, a farm sink and dishwasher in the kitchen. Both Whole Foods and Sprouts are within walking distance for meals prepared at home, and the best bar in Petaluma (Mario & John's) and the best taqueria in town (El Roy's) are just a couple of blocks away.

Short-term guests will have access to the main house and backyard. Guests with longer stays can have access to the laundry room upon request.

Interaction with guests:
Guests will be provided a code to access the key in a lock-box located at the front door for easy and flexible check-in and request guests confirm successful entry via text. We are available as needed via email, text or phone. Feel free to contact us is you are having any trouble, to answer any questions or just need a recommendation for a place to grab dinner.

We have a safe and friendly neighborhood just steps from the river and historic downtown Petaluma.

Getting around:
We are walking distance from the Sonoma Airport Express bus which has a depot at the fairgrounds on Payran and East Washington less than 1 mile away. This makes it easy to fly into SFO or OAK , hop on the shuttle and be dropped off 2 blocks from our doorstep.
Local buses, taxi's and uber's are also available as needed.

Other things to note:
Our home is an eclectic mix of home furnishings, some are antiques over 100 years old. We love these items and hope you will too.

NOTE: As of December 2019 a second home has been added to the property and is seated at the back edge of the backyard. A permanent renter resides in the second home however they do not have access to the main house, the patio, yard or any other facilities being rented as part of the Air B&B property. The main house and surrounding outdoor areas including carport, patio, outdoor kitchen and garden remain private and for the use of the Air B&B guests only.

We keep it pet free and down free for those who are sensitive. No smoking, vaping, or e-cigs allowed on or around property. We have an outdoor kitty who sleeps in the garage only. A small indoor dog visits occasionally with our daughter. We ask that you not have doggie visitors except on the patio. Registered Guests only for overnight, but Grandkids are always welcome! Stemple Creek Ranch is just off Shoreline Highway (Highway 1) a few miles north of the town of Tomales. We are close to Dillon Beach, Petaluma, Point Reyes, and is a great home base to everything Marin and Sonoma Counties have to offer. This house is located on our organic cattle ranch.

We sometimes bring our dogs to this house, so if you are highly allergic please take note. There is Verizon and AT&T cell service and satellite-based wifi. If you want to order meat from us (Stemple Creek Ranch) please let us know 10 days in advance of your visit and we can have it there for you when you arrive.

Welcome to our enchanting Heavenly Farm in Petaluma!

You drive through the Pearly Gates, up a eucalyptus grove to the main house. The main house includes 3 bedrooms. We have a large king bedroom, cozy full and queen bedrooms. This gorgeous property also offers WiFi, a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, a gourmet kitchen, and wall to ceiling windows to look out over the east Petaluma mountains. We have a wrap around porch and BBQ for your use.

Our farm feels miles from everything but is only only 9.8 miles from downtown Petaluma, 14 miles from Dillon Beach ( a fantastic dog beach) and 13 miles to Nick’s Cove (a lovely seafood restaurant on Tomales Bay). There are beautiful hiking trails and wine tasting close by.

This is a working horse farm. You may see our caretakers taking care of our horses or even the owner riding in the outdoor arena. We encourage our guest to learn more about our horses and program so do not hesitate to reach out.

This house is in the beautiful Liberty Valley area which is in the country just minutes from many things to do! Sonoma county is a special place, A place to come relax and enjoy good food, good wine and scenery with some must see places outside of Petaluma like Healdsburg, St Helena, Bodega bay, Russian River, Sebastopol and Pt Reyes. also Rohnert Park which has Graton casino and many restaurants within the casino is just a short drive away. This is a 31 day minimum stay rental.

The Space:
The Carriage Loft is light, airy and bright with an energizing and relaxing feel. Completely remodeled and refurbished in 2021. The Loft is incredibly clean, all kitchen/bath items, linens, beds, sheets and towels are brand new, and great care is taken to ensure proper sanitation and thorough cleaning.

Once a Victorian farmhouse on the edge of Petaluma, the property was built in the 1890's, was home to a prominent early Petaluma family and in the 1990's was a fully operating bed and breakfast. Our loving restoration of the Carriage Loft respects its history with the modern luxury of a boutique hotel.

Just 7 blocks from downtown, all the great shops and amazing restaurants on Petaluma are just a short walk.

The bedroom: a luxury boutique bedroom, sleep in the dreamy gold California king bed on a Stearns and Foster mattress. The unique design is part studio, part bedroom - a half wall gives privacy from the kitchen area and a great sense of space to your sleeping area. The space has a good energizing vibe for a great nights sleep.
Good to know: All bedding is professionally laundered offsite!

Closet: walk-in closet with his and hers/hers and hers/his and his clothes rails. Plus laundry - washer and dryer.

The kitchen and diner: Our beautiful kitchen with it's smart design means the foodie chef has everything they need. Equipped with retro fridge/freezer, compact oven, microwave and coffee/tea maker. Dining table sits 4 comfortably.

Living room: super big L-shape sofa for relaxing and hanging out.

Bathroom: just look at that huge stunning teal shower! Local organic shower gel, bubble bath and shampoo provided.

An office away from home: the table in the kitchen can sit 4 and great to work at. WiFi is fiber, Tower has its own mesh router - expect 50-60 Mbps down, 70-90 Mbps up.

There is a TV in the kitchen and it's 55 inches HD, with Netflix, Hulu & HBO Max.
