I'd recommend a two night stay minimum so you can enjoy everything it offers" - "My stay at this resort started off poorly due to a lack of proper guidance at check-in. Jefferson, the receptionist, failed to provide basic information such as buffet times, snack bar locations, or general amenities, which made our first day very frustrating. To add to that, we were unexpectedly charged a 15% fee despite showing tourist passports—this felt unfair, especially since I had already booked through Expedia at standard rates. The food overall was average. Buffet meals were served in large batches and often cold. The snack bar offerings were minimal—usually just two nuggets with fries or the occasional burger, pizza, or wings (again, just two per serving). On a positive note, the main pool was beautiful, and the spa was truly the highlight of our stay. The service there was exceptional, and the massage area was relaxing and top-notch."

We do not recommend first time visitors to Galapagos to try to book a vacation here on your own, as there are too many details and pitfalls to negotiate.

Booking a Vacation to the Galapagos Islands is different than any other destination on Planet Earth. The sheer Logistics involved, that start with the timing your flights into and out of Ecuador (2 different airports to choose from), then your flights into and out of Galapagos (another 2 different airports), including the fact that you may be flying into and out of different Ecuador Airports, and likely two different Galapagos airports so as not to inefficiently retrace your steps, and also have these flights get you to the right island at the right time is complicated. Even a simple flight delay can throw off your whole itinerary costing you an extra night in a hotel on the wrong island and missing your already paid for hotel and tours on the next island, so our first piece of advice is also the first pitfall we wish you to avoid:

Here at Keystravel, Isla Isabela is our favorite island in the Galapagos Archipelago. It is the least commercial island, and in our minds has the best Beach in Galapagos. Our Tours are absolutely amazing, and if you are Beach People, this is a place you cannot miss.

Spectacular Ocean Views await your arrival, and your stay will include a Delicious Full Breakfast every morning from our Rooftop Deck overlooking the Open Ocean. Then after your breakfast, fill up your water bottles and get ready for the finest Galapagos has to offer.

This is also the best island to build in a "Rest and Relaxation Day" if you have the time, but if not, a 2 or 3 night stay on Isabela would be our recommendation based on activities alone, as this is the island that we have our best Tours in all of Galapagos, and if available, our best Guide in all of Galapagos, then add another night for that break from the pace required to maximize your visit to Galapagos. We do not recommend first time visitors to Galapagos to try to book a vacation here on your own, as there are too many details and pitfalls to negotiate.

Booking a Vacation to the Galapagos Islands is different than any other destination on Planet Earth. The sheer Logistics involved, that start with the timing your flights into and out of Ecuador (2 different airports to choose from), then your flights into and out of Galapagos (another 2 different airports), including the fact that you may be flying into and out of different Ecuador Airports, and likely two different Galapagos airports so as not to inefficiently retrace your steps, and also have these flights get you to the right island at the right time is complicated. Even a simple flight delay can throw off your whole itinerary costing you an extra night in a hotel on the wrong island and missing your already paid for hotel and tours on the next island, so our first piece of advice is also the first pitfall we wish you to avoid:

Located on the Island of Santa Cruz in the town of Puerto Ayora is this beautiful Luxury Suite on the Bay. This is one of our favorite Suites in all of Galapagos. We at Keystravel Galapagos have personally stayed in this suite and have photographed every inch of this suite from every angle. It sleeps up to 3 people (extra person charges apply), and we can accommodate larger parties here by the addition of the connecting Suite. We have years of happy clients who have stayed here, and you can count on being one of those happy clients yourself!

An excellent Breakfast Buffet is included every morning, and there is a first class Restaurant and Bar on the premises, so if you choose to build in a "Rest and Relaxation Day" into your itinerary, you would never have to leave the property. You are within truly easy walking distance to the Beach, and you are just a few minutes away from the center of town. This Suite comes with beautiful Jacuzzi Tub in your Private Bath to soothe the sore muscles after a long day out soaking in the amazing sights and animals of Galapagos.

While you will probably be too busy or too tired to enjoy much of it, there are TV's in every Suite here, something not too common in Galapagos, as the things you will see every day make TV pretty much underwhelming by comparison.

Your covered Balcony has an incredible view of the City, the Harbor and the Ocean, and is furnished with a table and chairs to relax and enjoy the stellar view!
