- "Hello, I would like to share my experience in Las brisas hotel in Acapulco. I have zero complaints everything was just great. I was upgraded to the jounior suite room. Nice room/Big bathroom. I would recommend this room if you will be sharing it with a significant other.. They bring you coffee and pastries in the mornings with a plate of fruit watermelon/cantalop. Staff is extremely friendly and will cater 2 all of your needs. I don't like to swim in public pools so your own pool in your room it's the best part of it all. This hotel is peaceful and quiet not rowdy by any means. I ordered from room service a few nights and I would recommend the arrachera burrito... Location is everything... The location is perfect a short 10-15 minute taxi ride will get you to the Main Streets. There a lot of restaurants, markets and little shopping centers. You can do a lot of walking (as I did) and really getting the feel of Acapulco... I wouldn't recommend staying in Zona diamanté near the bahia of Puerto Marquez . As It will be too far and you will spend A LOT of money for transportation... Theres no need to hesitate about safety. You will see a lot of military police literally "Everywhere" Don't use the hotel taxi they will charge you 2x more. Just walk out and you will see a lot drive by. (Whiteandyellow) ride should range $80-120 pesos each way. Acapulco fits the budget for tours and eating out all day. Will be back to las brisas! "

The property has impressively restored the hotel, but certain aspects of my experience gave me pause. The restoration efforts undertaken by the property post-Otis cannot be overlooked. The hotel has done a commendable job in bringing the property back to its former glory, which is truly praiseworthy. However, I was disappointed by the prevalence of hidden fees, particularly the daily service charges that were not explicitly communicated upfront. I paid more in service charges and tips than the costo of food and beverage. Additionally, the lack of complimentary in-room coffee in the mornings was somewhat surprising and felt like an inconvenience. Moreover, the inconsistency in service was evident during my visit. On multiple occasions, I found myself having to actively seek out waitstaff at the pool area, which detracted from the overall relaxation and enjoyment of the facilities. Attention to detail seemed lacking in some areas, and I believe this is an aspect that could be improved upon. While the hotel's restoration efforts are commendable, the issues of hidden fees, service inconsistencies, and attention to detail detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay.
