- "Hello, I would like to share my experience in Las brisas hotel in Acapulco. I have zero complaints everything was just great. I was upgraded to the jounior suite room. Nice room/Big bathroom. I would recommend this room if you will be sharing it with a significant other.. They bring you coffee and pastries in the mornings with a plate of fruit watermelon/cantalop. Staff is extremely friendly and will cater 2 all of your needs. I don't like to swim in public pools so your own pool in your room it's the best part of it all. This hotel is peaceful and quiet not rowdy by any means. I ordered from room service a few nights and I would recommend the arrachera burrito... Location is everything... The location is perfect a short 10-15 minute taxi ride will get you to the Main Streets. There a lot of restaurants, markets and little shopping centers. You can do a lot of walking (as I did) and really getting the feel of Acapulco... I wouldn't recommend staying in Zona diamanté near the bahia of Puerto Marquez . As It will be too far and you will spend A LOT of money for transportation... Theres no need to hesitate about safety. You will see a lot of military police literally "Everywhere" Don't use the hotel taxi they will charge you 2x more. Just walk out and you will see a lot drive by. The hotel has done a commendable job in bringing the property back to its former glory, which is truly praiseworthy. However, I was disappointed by the prevalence of hidden fees, particularly the daily service charges that were not explicitly communicated upfront. I paid more in service charges and tips than the costo of food and beverage. Additionally, the lack of complimentary in-room coffee in the mornings was somewhat surprising and felt like an inconvenience. Moreover, the inconsistency in service was evident during my visit. On multiple occasions, I found myself having to actively seek out waitstaff at the pool area, which detracted from the overall relaxation and enjoyment of the facilities. Attention to detail seemed lacking in some areas, and I believe this is an aspect that could be improved upon. While the hotel's restoration efforts are commendable, the issues of hidden fees, service inconsistencies, and attention to detail detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay. - "We had a lovely stay at this beautiful penthouse. There apartment was spacious and clean. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was modern. There were a few basic amenities that we would have liked. Coming from out of the country, it would have been nice to have some basic things such as coffee, milk, salt and shampoo and soap to begin our stay. There is a supermarket a short distance that had all the things you need. There are multiple pools and a beach club a short ride away(provided by the facility). There was ample chaise lounges and umbrellas. At the beach club security is very present. They are expected to enforce a multitude of rules that are placed by the administration. We felt irritated and harassed at times. (particularly my young adult children ). There is waiter service and snacks. There is a commercial center with shops and restaurants just next door to the complex. We felt safe at all times. Could use more of a personal touch, ie welcome basket. A book with suggestions for things to do, restaurants etc. , and guest book for guests to sign and leave feedback. The apartment is as represented in the photos. We had a fantastic stay and will likely be back. "

Be warned. The rooms have A/C (a blessing for that part of Mexico). The kitchens do NOT have ovens though - making large meals a little more burdensome to come up with. Housekeeping will make up the sofa-beds in the evening on your request. Towels for the room abound. The deck is MAGNIFICENT! Perfect views and get this... your own plunge pool. Our kids LOVED this part of the stay. The beach was combed and clean. Even at 100% capacity, we did not feel crowded at this resort, there was always plenty of space, and plenty of help available. English was spoken by almost everyone working there as well, making communication super easy. The water park that used to be outside the door has moved down the street to a neighboring Mayan property, and is accessible by free shuttle. I highly recommend checking it out - even if you don't have kids (who will love it) the Lazy River is a nice relaxing time."

The area where we are located is residential and very quiet, made up mainly of private houses and apartments, near Secretos del Sol you can find a large number of restaurants, bars, gyms, laundries, shops and supermarkets.

The best way to get there is by car, but if you prefer to arrive by bus, the nearest bus terminal is Estrella de Oro, which is 4.5 km away (11 minutes) and from there take a taxi or if you prefer to arrive by plane, the airport is located 20 kms (28 minutes) and from there take a taxi.

This spacious two Bedroom Unit is very clean and well maintained, with daily Maid Service provided. Cook in the full Kitchen that has everything you'll need to make Breakfast or Lunch, or even a full Dinner if you don't want to go to one of the Restaurants on site or go into Town. There is a Walmart just 20 mins away with prices that can't be beat, as well as the more expensive and limited options at the on site Store.

The Master Bedroom has an adjoining full Bathroom with double Sinks, huge walk-in Shower as well as a Tub, that looks thru the Bedroom with Sitting Area out to your Private Balcony. The other Bedroom usually has one King Bed but some Units have two Double Beds, Sitting Area and large full Bathroom. in between the 2 Bedrooms is the Large Kitchen with Dining Area for 6, as well as the Living Room with 2 Sofas, looking out the floor to ceiling sliding doors to your Balcony. Enjoy the air conditioning or open the sliding door to let in the warm tropical breeze.

The 2nd Bedroom has it's own Doorway to the Hall, and closes off from the Living Room and Master Bedroom with a door that can be locked. This is therefore perfect for young Adults or if you are travelling with another Couple, as it gives them freedom to come and go as they please without going through the main area.
