The pool bar prices are reasonable. The restaurant serves breakfast until noon and the menu I was given was very limited. No bacon. Hot dogs in place of sausage. But the cooks were great and the staff as well. I stayed at the time Corona Virus fears were spreading in Mexico and Acapulco. I was initially on the 15th floor but after one day asked to move due to maintenance issues to the 7th floor. Turns out that everybody was being moved to the 7th floor or lower due to lack of occupation. This was a big inconvenience and in return the room manager gave me two free breakfasts and offered late check out. I did ask for and received a larger refrigerator in the new room so it worked out."

Lots of trees for shade in the pool area so there's flowers leaves and some bugs in the pool but overall very clean water. 100 pesos for deposit for towels and remote control each. You get money back when you give them back. Service and housekeeping was good. Building is run down and needs remodel. Certain areas with mold but expected. Ask for extra toilet paper. Because a roll wont last more than a day. Location is great, less than 5 min walk to beach. Lots of stores and food places around. Would come back."

They provide you with plenty of sweet water because the water that runs from the tap and shower is salt water so you’re left with that strange sensation on the skin, same thing with the pool. The ocean isn’t friendly like Acapulco’s so you’re risking getting swallowed and drowning. The futons and hammocks at the house beach get crowded on weekends, you have to use your towel to reserve them. The areas around the hotel are quiet and very calm, but there isn’t many restaurants around within walking distances and there are lot of damaged buildings due to Otis, so you’ll see some dilapidated sights while you’re walking around. I’ll recommend you to go if you want experience a semi virgin beach in the middle of nowhere, especially if you’re not looking for clubs or night life around the place. Be weary if you want a snack for dinner, restaurant closes at 11 pm and the nearest store is far by foot and the hotel doesn’t let you introduce food and charge you for doing it. "
