You are amongst the first few to discover our traditional cottage made of Czech wood after its total rebuilding. It is located in the Jeseniky mountains, in the North-West of Moravia ( as you know the Czech Republic is composed of Bohemia and Moravia) in a village called Olsany. It´s a place which is not well-known of tourists. Its natural marvels, , its castels, its churches, and its historical sites will not only seduce you but also convince you to come again. The Cottage is at the village extremity, in a valley which is bordered with a forest full of animals and mushrooms. The enclosed property (1000 m2) has got a playing area with a volleyball ground, a garden with apple and plume trees, a kitchen garden and a barbecue area for the grilled meat lovers. There is a stream running alongside the property, in which you can see trouts, and which rocks you until you fall asleep. 50 metres far away from there, you can see horses which could wake you up in the morning if you tend to sleep very late. And when it rains, the fire place is there to warm you up, and even if you stay inside, you really feel as if you were outside. You can enjoy your trip even when the weather is not good enough.

Martin arranged to meet us for a bike ride and lunch in Moravsky Kras - something we would not have been able to do on our own - and he even provided the bikes for us! After the bike ride we decided to visit Brno as we were so close and Martin told us the best place to park. The location is excellent for you to explore North and South Moravia. We highly recommend this cottage which includes Martin's expertise and experience of living in the Czech Republic!"

- "Wat een fantastische vakantieplek is dit. Het huisje is netjes onderhouden en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is groot en groen en het uitzicht op het meer en het bos daarachter is prachtig. Wij hadden een mooie zonnige week in september, waardoor we heerlijk konden zwemmen in het meer op nog geen 30m van het huisje, en daarna in het gras in de tuin opdrogen. De hond vond het ook geweldig in het water en het bos. Na het zwemmen maakten we in de avonden zelf een vuurtje op de vuurplaats van zelfgehakt hout. Wij hebben onze ogen uitgekeken. Dit deel van Tsjechie lijkt wel een sprookje met de prachtige natuur en de sprookjesachtige huizen. Ook vonden wij de Tsjech heel relaxt overkomen in de dorpjes en steden die we bezocht hebben. Al met al een enorme aanrader om te genieten en te onthaasten. We wilden niet meer naar huis!"

- "Fantastic place and very helpful owner." - "Huisje is niet geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderenn(klein en groot). Slaapkamers alleen te bereiken met vlizotrap (steil en krakend) en slecht WiFi. Keuken is beperkt. Maar twee stoelen in zithoek. Eenpersoonsbedden waren heel hard en hobbelig. Verstrekt linnen is beperkt (1 handdoek op en 1 theedoek). Omgeving is schitterend." - "We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar die redelijk Engels kon en ons veel over de omgeving kon vertellen, de loop van de auto naar het verblijf was de eerste keer wel even een uitdaging met de koffers maar dat wende wel. Het uitzicht was geweldig, we hebben genoten van het bankje voor het verblijf en de picknicktafel. Het huisjr is niet erg groot maar we waren met zn tweeen dus dat was geen probleem, de keuken en badkamer waren netjes en up to date, verder was het basic maar goed te doen. Sat-TV met het meest Duitse en Tsjechische zenders, maar deze hebben we weinig gebruikt. -) De slaapkamers zijn wel een beetje lastig te bereiken via een harmonica vlizotrap, even wennen maar wederom wel te doen. De achtertuin is een prachtig bos met veel aangelegde wandelpaden (en Geocaches -) ). Verder is het een geweldige omgeving qua natuur ook de ligging is perfect voor een dagje Praag maar ook voor een dagje Polen. Ook zijn er bierbrouwerijen genoeg om een kijkje te nemen maar ook veel burchten en Kastelen, de 1 nog mooier als de ander. Genieten dus!"

We offer you a pleasant stay in our new wooden chalet that was built in 2021. It is located in a quiet place in town Nejdek, that is just 15 minutes from beautiful spa town Karlovy Vary and 20 minutes to the highest mountain of Krusne hory (Klinovec). Our house is in 640 metres above the sea level which offers many days of snow in winter.

In the cabin there you will find living room combined with the kitchen and dinning place. The sofa in the living rooms offers enough room for a sleep of two people. In the living room there is also big Smart TV with lots of local channels or Netflix. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathroom and technical room is located also in the ground floor. The 1st floor has two rooms with 3 double beds in total and 1 extra single bed. Having said that, 1st floor offers comfortable sleeping for 7 persons.

The garden is large (over 2000m2). The garden offers terrace, grill, fireplace, place for fun and sport activities. The garden is not flat but goes slightly down. Under our house there is a land with no houses and sometimes you can watch deer does. In March 2025 we build also an outdoor sauna for you.

Parking: space for several cars in front of the house by the street. It is part of the garden but not fenced.

Shopping: nearest supermarket (Penny) is 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes by walk. In the town center (10 minutes by walk) there you can find a few restaurants as well).

Heating: The heating is provided by very comfortable pellet heater in a combination with floor heating (ground floor). The heater is in the main room but is also connected to the rooms in the upper floor. One bag of pellets lasts between 8-24 hours based on the power set.
