Forest estate with view over private lake



A warm welcome to this fabulous forest estate, located about 20 km. from Värnamo. The house was built in 2010 and situated on a hilltop, 100 meters from the lake.



The house contains two bedrooms on the ground floor with two double beds in each and one with junior bed. Moreover, there is a loft of about 16 square meters with tree beds-perfect for teenagers!



From the house there is a unique view of the lake. From September 2012 on, a bathing bridge and a rowing boat will be available. The forest is a hilly terrain with cliffs and forest trails. In short, a place where relaxation is the most natural. Within approx. 30 km radius there are, besides the two large cities Värnamo and Ljungby, whole six golf courses aswell as Cowboy City High Chaparral. There is also a good chance to see moose in the surrounding.

Welcome to Klockarfjäll in Vemdalsskalet. On the entrance level you enter the large kitchen and the living room with ample space for cooking and hanging around the fireplace. Large dining table with seating for two families and a spacious sofa corner with armchair and coffee table. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower. Laundry room with boot storage is provided with separate entrance next to the entrance. If weather permits you go out onto the large balcony / patio with afternoon and evening sun and look out to the mountain world.

Downstairs there are three bedrooms with 8 beds and under the staircase there is an extra bed in the bedside chair. In the master bedroom there is an office tent bed 180x200 cm. In the other rooms there are family beds with 3 beds in each room. In the distant room there is TV and space for the kids or young people if they want to watch a movie after dinner.

On the lower level there is also a spacious bathroom with the nice sauna.

Winter: From the house you take the skis on the shoulder and snap the skis after about 150 meters walk. After skiing, skis go all the way back with a couple of stops. If you want to dine outside on an evening at Restaurang Passet or Anorak, you are welcome to walk to and from the house about 400 meters. At Skalspasset there is also a ski shop with rental and sale of lift passes. The center of Vemdalsskal with a grocery store and other shopping is 2.5 km and takes 5 minutes by car. In winter, you can take the ski bus from Skalspasset to nearby Björnrike or Storhogna / Klövsjö. It takes 15-20 minutes with your own car.

For the cross-country skiers there are several very good options. A good starting point is the tram center in Vemdalsskalet. From here you can ride the beautiful crossroads to Björnrike and take a lap in their top tracks. You can also go elsewhere to Storhogna. In total there are 70 km of groomed trails in the area. There are also two trails of 2.5 and 5 km in close proximity to the house.

For the walkers there are countless trails and walks to discover. A good start is at the Jaktstugan above the center of the center. Here you can also ferret with both long-sleeved or slalom skiing to enjoy homemade waffles and other good.

For snowmobiles there is a snowmobile trail close to the house.

Spring / Summer / Autumn: Here you are in the middle of the Heredonian wilderness. The nearby national park at Sonfjället is unique in many respects and is considered Sweden's most densely populated area. Here you are welcome to book a guided tour. In Vemdalsfjällen there are many kilometers of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Maybe visit one of the nice waterfalls or charming Klövsjö city? There are also several excellent fishing waters.

Welcome to the "holiday oasis at Fskestadssjön", behind this name lies a small and family holiday village in Småland, consisting of two cores, each with five identical holiday homes and heated outdoor pools. The location is fantastic with lake views over the fish-rich lake Fiskestadssjön in southern Småland. Perfect for the planned (multiple) family vacation with many activity options on site. The holiday village has two adjacent areas with holiday homes. Each area has access to its own pool area. All homes have lake views and are close to the fenced pool areas. The pools are surrounded by large wooden terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers, are heated and have sliding glass roofs.

The holiday homes are 70-75 square meters in size and have 6 beds plus two extra beds in each house and were newly renovated in 2018. They have their own terraces with 8 chairs and a large table and a garden pavilion. There is also a charcoal grill and sun loungers with a grill and comfortable under a garden pavilion.



There are paved walkways between the cottages, new pool areas and lakeside walking paths.

The holiday homes have a toilet and shower, a kitchen with a dining area for 6 people and an open living area, as well as 3 bedrooms (one of which is the sleeping loft with a door) each with 2 single beds and a sofa bed for 2 in the living room.

The Fiskestadssjö is known for its large perch and pike. You can fish from the shore, dock or boat. You can also take a trip to one of the nearby islands. The record for our guests is 125 pike in one week!



Also nearby is Lake Åsnen, which is one of the top ten Swedish fishing waters. There are fishing guides and night fishing for zander! For anglers who want to fish in flowing water, there is also Mörrumsån as an alternative.



If you want to fish, you must purchase a fishing license. You can buy these at the ICA Supermarket in Väckelsång (approx. 5 minutes by car from the holiday village). Minors under 18 do not need a fishing license. Day fishing tickets cost around 100 SEK, weekly fishing tickets cost 200 SEK. The fishing permits are valid for Fiskestadssjön (lake) and Kroksjön (lake).
