Forest estate with view over private lake



A warm welcome to this fabulous forest estate, located about 20 km. from Värnamo. The house was built in 2010 and situated on a hilltop, 100 meters from the lake.



The house contains two bedrooms on the ground floor with two double beds in each and one with junior bed. Moreover, there is a loft of about 16 square meters with tree beds-perfect for teenagers!



From the house there is a unique view of the lake. From September 2012 on, a bathing bridge and a rowing boat will be available. The forest is a hilly terrain with cliffs and forest trails. In short, a place where relaxation is the most natural. Within approx. 30 km radius there are, besides the two large cities Värnamo and Ljungby, whole six golf courses aswell as Cowboy City High Chaparral. There is also a good chance to see moose in the surrounding.

Welcome to Klockarfjäll in Vemdalsskalet. On the entrance level you enter the large kitchen and the living room with ample space for cooking and hanging around the fireplace. Large dining table with seating for two families and a spacious sofa corner with armchair and coffee table. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower. Laundry room with boot storage is provided with separate entrance next to the entrance. If weather permits you go out onto the large balcony / patio with afternoon and evening sun and look out to the mountain world.

Downstairs there are three bedrooms with 8 beds and under the staircase there is an extra bed in the bedside chair. In the master bedroom there is an office tent bed 180x200 cm. In the other rooms there are family beds with 3 beds in each room. In the distant room there is TV and space for the kids or young people if they want to watch a movie after dinner.

On the lower level there is also a spacious bathroom with the nice sauna.

Winter: From the house you take the skis on the shoulder and snap the skis after about 150 meters walk. After skiing, skis go all the way back with a couple of stops. If you want to dine outside on an evening at Restaurang Passet or Anorak, you are welcome to walk to and from the house about 400 meters. At Skalspasset there is also a ski shop with rental and sale of lift passes. The center of Vemdalsskal with a grocery store and other shopping is 2.5 km and takes 5 minutes by car. In winter, you can take the ski bus from Skalspasset to nearby Björnrike or Storhogna / Klövsjö. It takes 15-20 minutes with your own car.

For the cross-country skiers there are several very good options. A good starting point is the tram center in Vemdalsskalet. From here you can ride the beautiful crossroads to Björnrike and take a lap in their top tracks. You can also go elsewhere to Storhogna. In total there are 70 km of groomed trails in the area. There are also two trails of 2.5 and 5 km in close proximity to the house.

For the walkers there are countless trails and walks to discover. A good start is at the Jaktstugan above the center of the center. Here you can also ferret with both long-sleeved or slalom skiing to enjoy homemade waffles and other good.

For snowmobiles there is a snowmobile trail close to the house.

Spring / Summer / Autumn: Here you are in the middle of the Heredonian wilderness. The nearby national park at Sonfjället is unique in many respects and is considered Sweden's most densely populated area. Here you are welcome to book a guided tour. In Vemdalsfjällen there are many kilometers of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Maybe visit one of the nice waterfalls or charming Klövsjö city? There are also several excellent fishing waters.

Welcome to the "holiday oasis at Fskestadssjön", behind this name lies a small and family holiday village in Småland, consisting of two cores, each with five identical holiday homes and heated outdoor pools. The location is fantastic with lake views over the fish-rich lake Fiskestadssjön in southern Småland. Perfect for the planned (multiple) family vacation with many activity options on site. The holiday village has two adjacent areas with holiday homes. Each area has access to its own pool area. All homes have lake views and are close to the fenced pool areas. The pools are surrounded by large wooden terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers, are heated and have sliding glass roofs.

The holiday homes are 70-75 square meters in size and have 6 beds plus two extra beds in each house and were newly renovated in 2018. They have their own terraces with 8 chairs and a large table and a garden pavilion. There is also a charcoal grill and sun loungers with a grill and comfortable under a garden pavilion.



There are paved walkways between the cottages, new pool areas and lakeside walking paths.

Also nearby is Lake Åsnen, which is one of the top ten Swedish fishing waters. There are fishing guides and night fishing for zander! For anglers who want to fish in flowing water, there is also Mörrumsån as an alternative.



If you want to fish, you must purchase a fishing license. You can buy these at the ICA Supermarket in Väckelsång (approx. 5 minutes by car from the holiday village). Minors under 18 do not need a fishing license. Day fishing tickets cost around 100 SEK, weekly fishing tickets cost 200 SEK. The fishing permits are valid for Fiskestadssjön (lake) and Kroksjön (lake).

This lovely holiday home, where old meets new, is located on what can be called a paradise island in Gothenburg's western archipelago. A very unique place considering its proximity to Gothenburg. The best description of the house and the island of Långholmen is peacefulness, rocks, sea, boats, rich birdlife and typical west coast vegetation with everything from blackberries to honeysuckle.There are only 13 houses on the whole island, of which 10 of the houses are permanent residents. There are no cars on the island, only a few four-wheelers. To reach the house and the island, you walk with your luggage, on 2 bicycle carts without bicycles that are included in the rent, from the parking lot over a bridge and all the way to the outer part of the island (about 600m from where you park the car). After the bridge, it is a cast footpath for the first part, but then you walk on a wide nature trail with mixed gravel and rock.Half the house was built in 1959 and the other half and the 100 m2 terrace including balcony were built in 2006. You can easily choose a suitable spot in the sun on the lovely terrace as it is accessed from several exits and stretches around three parts of the house. There is plenty of outdoor furniture and also a gas barbecue.The house has been partially renovated in 2023, and it is clear which part of the house that is old and which part that is the new. The kitchen is in the older part of the house and is relatively small, and maximum of 2-3 people can cook at the same time.In the house there are two standard bedrooms with double beds and a family room downstairs with a sofa bed and a family bed (120 cm wide and 80 cm in the upper bed). The family room has no door but a long curtain to pull. The family bed is relatively undisturbed and separated from view in a kind of alcove under the upper floor.The northern fairway out of Gothenburg is just under a nautical mile from the island, so from the room on the upper floor, the balcony or the terrace it is very nice to sit and watch the ocean life with everything from small motorboats to sailboats plus the large freighters. You can also visit Hunsberget, which with its 230 m above sea level is Ljungby municipality's highest point and is very beautifully located a bit outside Lidhult. The cabin is 70 square meters, comfortable and fully equipped for self-catering. In addition to four beds in two bedrooms, there is a sofa bed (140x200) in the living room and can accommodate up to six people. There is a washing machine, dryer, grill, fireplace and internet (Wifi).



There is much to experience or discover around here. Cyclists will get their money's worth here. One of several wonderful cycle paths passes here not far from the property. By "Semesteroas Fiskestadssjön" is ment a small and familiar holiday village, consisting of two cores with five identical holiday homes each, arranged around two heated outdoor pools. The cottages are recently renovated in 2018 and have a fantastic location in the South of Småland with a view of the lake Fiskestadssjön which is rich in fish.



Perfect solution for your planned family holidays with a lot of possible activities on-site. There live also animals like cows, pigs, pony goats or alpacas which you as a guest can marvel at and feed.



The holiday village has two groups of houses located next to each other, each with a pool area.

The cottages 1-10 are about 70-75 sqm and have 6 beds and two extra beds in each cottage.

All houses have a brand new patio with barbecue and comfortable outdoor furniture under a pavilion, paved corridors between the houses, brand new pool areas, walkways by the lake and a boat with electric motor to each cottage.

All houses have lake views and are close to 2 fenced pool areas with large pool deck, patio furniture and sun loungers. The pools are heated and covered with glass roof.



You have a have wc & shower, kitchen and open plan living and open up in nock. 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each bedroom and sofa bed in the living room.

Fiskestadssjön is famous for its large perch and pike. You can do fishing from both land, dock and boat. Feel free to take a trip to any nearby island. Boats are available for hire free of charge.

If you want to fish then you have to buy a fishing license. There are to be purchased at ICA in Väckelsång (about five minutes from the holiday village).

Children under 18 years do not need a fishing license. Day pass 100 SEK, weekly card 200 kr. Applies to both Fiskestadssjön and Kroksjön.

Nearby is Lake Åsnen, which belongs to Sweden’s top 10 fishing. There are fishing guides and night fishing on the goose!

Mörrumsån is also available as an option for those who want to fish in water.

The location is perfect! Ski in/ski out, snowmobile trail just below and direct proximity to fantastic cross-country trails. If you get tired of Himmelfjäll's slopes, Idre fjäll is about 5 minutes away by car.

The house is 220 sqm including garage, however, part of the house is private so the area we rent out is about 200 sqm. There are a total of 11 beds + 4 extra beds as well as 2 bathrooms and a sauna with exit.
