Our dog watcher cancelled and we called the hotel whom arranged so we could take our big dog with us, even though we had booked a suite that didn't allow dogs. Very flexible and friendly staff, much appreciated. We booked the Velvet experience in the SPA and it was really worth the money. The regular SPA area was spacious and offered a lot, we were two adults giggling and enjoying ourselves. The lobby was big and very cosy, offered a lot while waiting for check in or just hanging out. The only thing there I would like to change is regarding the time booking for breakfast. I do understand and like the fact that you book a certain time to sit down for breakfast, but the only time available for us was 10.00. That was also fine, we visited the spa in the morning as well to fill out the time. But they took away the food 10.30, which made it a bit hard to really enjoy the buffet. The staff were kind and told in advance that they were going to put things away, but it is really hard to relax and take time with breakfast in only 30 minutes, especially when there are some queueing involved.
