As a host Prisca could not have been more helpful - communication before we arrived was great and she was available throughout our stay - even driving us down to the ski shop when we arrived so we could sort rentals asap. The chalet has been recently refurbished, was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It is in a very peaceful location with amazing views and the village with supermarkets, bars and restaurants is a 15 minute walk away - there are lots of little short cuts to be discovered rather than walking around the road. You can walk across the road and ski over a field to get to the lifts and pretty much ski back to the chalet. Thank you for having us - we would definitely return 😊"

If you plan to go for a full sella-ronda tour, I recommend to start early and take a taxi to Santa Cristina and start the tour in the Saslong lift. This will give you much better skiing experience."

A marble table for 5 people, many original and typical Tyrolean objects and crockery, attention and attention to detail to make you immerse completely in this environment.

THE GARDEN. The green of our garden and the presence of fragrant plants that bloom between spring and summer, make our garden one of the most loved and appreciated by guests, young and old. The garden surrounds the Chalet entirely and is for the exclusive use of guests. Accessible directly from the Chalet, the Ski Room, completely made of wood, is a welcoming and spacious environment from which you can go directly on skis to get to the nearest ski lifts: Ciampinoi, Costabella and Dantercepies. Located right next to the centre of Ortisei, the panoramic and sunny position, combined with the proximity to the centre (approx. 300 metres on foot), makes it a strategic location for all kinds of activities and holidays.

The first supermarkets, shops and restaurants are just approx. 300 metres from the house on foot, and the next bus stop is approx. 500 metres away.

In winter, the Seceda ski lift can also be easily reached on foot, as the 'La Curta' escalator, which takes you to the bottom station of the cable car, is approx. 350 metres from the house. There you will also find the ski school, ski pass office and the first rental shops.

Not all houses allow pets. To avoid misunderstandings, we ask you to inform us by separate mail if you intend to bring them with you. In houses where pets are allowed, there is a surcharge of € 15.00 / animal / night. Baby cot, high chair and cot rail are available for a fee and must be booked in advance.

In case of wasted electricity, gas or other utilities there is an additional cost (e. g.: lights on all day in the absence of guests, heating running with open windows).
It is duty of the guests to open the windows at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, for at least 5 minutes each, to let humidity exit the apartment and avoid mold formation. If this rule is not respected and mold is found upon departure of the guests, costs to restore the apartment integrity will apply.
Due to the geographical location, Wi-Fi may be interrupted or slowed down, so this service is not always guaranteed.
The house is not equipped with foodstuffs such as cooking spices or various consumables such as shampoo, soap, etc... Any consumables present are intended only as a welcome kit and will not be refilled during your stay.
The payments required to enter the flat are the tourist tax + pre-authorization through Swikly of the security deposit by credit card of 500€.
If not previously agreed, the physical keys, the benefit card and other accessories provided at check-in are to be returned to the MUSE. holiday office in Via Arnaria 9a in Ortisei, otherwise 50€ will be charged for key collection.
The final cleaning amount covers a standard cleaning only. It does not include the washing of the dishes and the removal of trash from the apartments to the indicated spots. Therefore, excessively dirty apartments, dishes not washed, and trash not removed will be amended with a variable extra fee, basing on the entity of the working hours surplus.

The space
One of the undisputed benefits of Chalet Pratesi is its location in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena. In winter you can leave the chalet with your skis on and enjoy the slopes of Val Gardena and the Sella Ronda.
The chalet is immersed within a large private garden (for the exclusive use of guests) and in summer the scents of the surrounding meadows will accompany you on the many excursions that this wonderful area has to offer.

ROOMS. The spacious, comfortable bedrooms are characterised by a unique atmosphere. The double rooms on the first floor are entirely panelled in original 20th century wood and are the perfect place to relax in complete silence. The rooms overlook a charming, south-facing balcony and making the spaces bright and atmospheric, allowing guests to wake up each morning with a unique view of the surrounding landscape.

LIVING ROOM. A large space, furnished in wood with a 1950s majolica dry stube, that is warm, welcoming and also functional. From the windows there is a spectacular view of the Sella and Sassolungo Group Dolomites, which will accompany you throughout your trip. You can easily reach the slopes by putting your skis on as soon as you leave the Chalet.

KITCHEN. The kitchen is the heart of the chalet. It spacious and well equipped for people who like to try their hand at being a chef for their friends and family, inspired by the many local culinary products. There is a marble table that sits 5 people and lots of typical, original Tyrolean objects and crockery. The attention to detail will make you feel completely immersed your new environment

GARDEN. The fragrant plants that bloom between spring and summer make our garden one of the most loved and appreciated places by guests, young and old. The garden surrounds the Chalet entirely and is for the exclusive use of guests. Immersed in the greenery of the private garden in summer, or in the snow in winter, the 40sqm terrace at the entrance, is the ideal place for children to play, have a drink or have a nice lunch outdoors

SKI ROOM. The wooden Ski Room, which is directly accessible from the Chalet, is a welcoming and spacious environment from which you can go directly to the nearest ski lifts with your skis on: Ciampinoi, Costabella and Dantercepies. Along with the location in the centre of Selva Gardena, this is a luxury that few facilities can offer.

This small and lively village at bottom of Val Gardena is directly connected to the "Sellaronda" ski carousel and welcomes its visitors with an enticing combination of sport and entertainment. The imposing Dolomites surround Selva di Val Gardena, the highest village in the valley, offering a wide range of sports and leisure activities.

Selva is immersed in a variety natural wonders, where the continuous succession of mountains draws an unforgettable panorama: Stevia, the Cir peaks, the Sella group, the Sassolungo group and the Seiser Alm. My place is close to the ski slopes of the Sellaronda, great views, restaurants and good food it's famous place St. Ulrich/Ortisei and family-friendly activities. In Val Gardena, a hiking paradise. The beautiful and finely furnished Paruda Mountainchalet is part of the “Stlarida” apartments in Sankt Ulrich (Ortisei) and is a great starting point for exploring the South Tyrolean Alps. The 180 m² chalet extends across 2 storeys and consists of a living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed for 2 people, a well-equipped eat-in kitchen with a dishwasher, 4 bedrooms with king-size beds as well as 3 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 9 people.

In summer, the region invites you to go hiking or cycling in the nearby Dolomites or to the famous Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi), only 9 km (a 12-minute drive) away. Many great skiing areas can be explored in the winter season. In addition to the Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi), the Sellaronda skiing area with state of the art lifts is a 40-minute drive (22 km) away. The area also offers fantastic cross country ski tracks and toboggan runs. South Tyrol’s lovely capital city of Bolzano (Bozen) is located a 45-minute drive or 37 km southwest of Sankt Ulrich (Ortisei).
