Set within 6 acres of farmland this rustic 1993 self-contained caravan with a double bedroom and a deck is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt.
This getaway is ideal for 2, but with space for 4 people - it suits people who are young at heart and enjoy living in close quarters or families with younger children. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm fresh eggs available during your stay.

The space
The caravan is self-contained, with a small toilet and shower and you are welcome to visit our animals and explore the property, down the pine forest to do the loop.
Go collect eggs from the chickens for breakfast, chat with our sheep on your way to the creek to see the chickens.
It is a working farm so you’ll need normal caution around farm animals.
It is a small caravan, with a flushing loo, small shower and it’s in the bush - so comfort with that type of environment is a must if you come and visit!
The main bed is a double, with the caravan sized singles inside the caravan space.
Well behaved dogs are welcome - please let us know about your dog and how they relate to other animals before you book.
Guest access
You are welcome to head around the property to visit the animals and enjoy the rural setting. There is plenty of parking available right by the BNB.
Other things to note
The hot water is powered by gas.
When you turn on a tap in the sink or shower it will take a few seconds and you will hear the gas kick in and the water will get hot.
The stove is also gas, so you need to switch the 12 volt system on and then switch on the gas and the hob will light automatically, you will need to light the oven manually.
When you are filling the jug for a hot drink, use the filtered water.
The wi-fi is excellent and fast.

Have an urban camping experience in our iconic Airstream caravan in historic inner-city Thorndon, the oldest suburb of Wellington.
The Airstream has a double bed, and a dining area which converts to a single bed suitable for one adult or two small children.
Located next to our office and with your own carpark, you are just a short stroll to the central city, tourist attractions, transport hubs, nature walks, restaurants, bars and cafes.
