Suracaravan is a renovated caravan, set inside its own private courtyard. It’s a 1 minute walk to Whale Bay and access to “Indicators”, that deliver some of the best and most consistent waves a surfer can find in the country. The caravan is a 12 minute drive from the main township of Raglan. Renovated by host Peter, it’s a cosy, private and funky nod to the past. The caravan is a great place to stay if you want to access the excitement of Raglan, but want a private place to get away to.

The space
Own private deck and courtyard, bbq outside and a small kitchen inside. There is one bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has been renovated (own toilet and shower), there is a nice retro seating area inside by the kitchen. It’s surrounded by native trees and there are lot of native birds to sing the day to a close. There is no vast Seaview but still great sunsets. The beach is a 1 minute walk from Surfacaravan if you’d like to head down there too

Guest access
There is plenty of on-street parking, right outside the accomodation. Sometimes when the surf is good it can be full, in that instance, please contact host Peter and we will arrange an off-street park for you

Other things to note
Surfboards aren’t provided, and it’s recommend that only experienced surfers jump in at Whale Bay or Indicators. Please see the guide book for learner options and other local attractions.

Welcome to "The Bus"

This truly unique little venue offers so much for the holiday maker from stunning coastal glimpses to picturesque views of Mount Karioi through the framed glass window on the deck. Located within walking distance to town for local eateries, night life and fishing at the wharf. This compact little dwelling has everything you will need to make your stay in Whāingaroa/Raglan extremely comfortable.

The space
Off Street Parking provided for two vehicles and one small boat or jetski. The Double Bed can be shut off from the main room providing privacy and space from Lounge, Kitchen and Bunk Beds. Bunk Beds are provided for little people. One Toilet with Basin is located inside "The Bus" with separate Bathroom, Toilet and Shower with Infinity Gas located outside for added space and a touch of luxury. Both "The Bus" and the Bathroom open onto a spacious, covered outdoor Deck featuring new Outdoor Furniture, a BBQ, Dart Board, Chalk Board, some games and Shelter with a view.
Kitchen has all essentials: Fridge, Microwave, Stove Top, Oven, Kettle, Toaster and Cutlery.

Guest access
You have access to the whole place. The base rate is for the double bed. There will be an additional charge of $30 if a bunk bed is required.

Other things to note
Please note that "The Bus" is located on a shared driveway, please park so that other tenants may access their home.

There is no wifi.
