Harbourview52 is a B&B situated in Raglan, 35 km from Hamilton. The property is within walking distance to the harbour’s edge, where guests can explore the bay with free kayaks or a stroll to the wharf at low-tide. A modern tidy studio with attached bathroom and kitchenette thats seperate from the main house. The bed is a queen size and theres a small table with two chairs as well. The kitchenette has basic bench top cooking facilities, a sink, toaster, kettle with a small fridge too.
I run a fishing charter boat on a trailer out of the driveway too, so you might experience charter customers, fish and early or late noises during your stay.
Only 14 minutes walk to town and 6 minutes walk to raglan wharf.

The space
A peaceful one room studio with kitchenette and an attached bathroom and shower thats seperate from the main house. An ‘in the bush’ feel with native birds outside and a small water view from the room. A 14 minute walk to the town centre and 6 minute walk the Raglan Wharf. Theres a deck beside the room you can use with hot and cold out door shower to wash off sand or rise out sports equipment.

Please just use the room and deck outside the room. If you could stay out of the attached garage, boat and main house and it's decks that would be ideal, unless you ask or are offered by the owner. You may be invited into these areas but will be a case by case basis depending on whats going on that day.
Use of my hot tub is not included in your stay either, but you never know what happens at any given time.

Other things to note
Parking is straight down my drive way, through the gates (if they are closed, open them, come through and close behind you). There are two parking spaces straight ahead through the gate on the newer concrete just use the free one. If you have more than one car then parking on the road is safe for a second car.

While best suited for 2, the couch does pull out to a double bed if you're after a more cost-effective option

As shown, the studio is located under our home where we live with young kids (2 and 4) and very friendly lab Max. As expected, there will be some noise however everything should be extra peaceful from 7-7!

The space
FREE ACCESS to kayaks and paddle boards. We allow use of our kayaks and paddle boards for guests with access just up the road to the water. We have a variety of life jackets and can provide suggestions on tides/where to go if requested.

You have a private flat carpark with access to the studio from the carpark. There is a small outside entertainment area with table and chairs, BBQ, swing chair and beanbag (please note this is on our driveway so we arent claiming for it to be the most private of settings!).

The studio is located under the house with private access and boasts everything you need for a short or extended stay.

There is an ensuite bathroom with a shower bath, lounge area with foldout double couch bed, kitchenette (containing fridge/freezer, microwave, air fryer oven, hot plate and all utensils) and an extendable dining table.

There is a washing machine with dryer if you need with washing powder provided.

Town is a pleasant stroll away or even paddle board your way there using the tides. We live in the main house with our two young children and friendly lab Max. the pitter patter of young feet may be heard at times but we aim to keep noise to a minimum especially between 7-7. Please always feel free to contact us if anything is disrupting your stay :)

We have 2 stand up paddle boards ready to go with beach access just a couple of minutes up the road. The beach is one of the safest and most sheltered in town. Great for kids from mid to high tide!

Private self contained studio with your own bathroom. This is the downstairs floor of our double story home with its own access, separated from our living space by stairs and a locked door. Microwave, toaster, kettle, and small fridge, not a full kitchen. Very comfy king bed with Ecosa mattress, plus a single. Walk in shower with great water pressure, all linen provided. 2 min walk to Cox bay beach, 5 mins to the Wharf (awesome f&c), 15 mins walk to town, 10 min drive to the surf beach.

Unique, well-presented sleepout with ensuite toilet in Lorenzen Bay. It features an outdoor shower with hot water for a lovely warm wash off of sand and salt water after a day at the beach.

Nested in a tropical garden with a fishpond and banana palms, only 2 minutes away from the Bay, this sleepout is great little spot for a getaway.

Historic Pear Tree Unit is on our farm and welcomes all travellers who want to relax in a rural environment but only 8kms from Raglan. This is a self contained unit with parking at the door. Parking for boat trailers if required and tips on fishing spots gladly provided. The unit is neat as a pin, has a smart TV with Netflix and Wifi. Lovely kitchen with coffee, tea, milk, bread, 3 types of cereals, butter, jam and vegemite ; fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frying pan and bench top oven

The space
The unit is attached to the house via our walk thru laundry so it’s very soundproof and private.

Please leave keys inside on departure and don’t worry about making the bed

The laundromat is situated in Raglan Township (turn left onto Wainui Road opposite the Hotel) and laundromat 20 metres on left.

Please note that we are not on town supply and would appreciate your assistance in being reasonably conservative with water use during excessively dry conditions over summer.

We do not have a full oven as such. We do however have a 12 litre convection oven (bench top oven) a slow cooker and an electric frying pan.

Tucked away on Sunshine Rise, Chalet Sol is a cute and charming studio perfect for a weekend retreat or a midweek reset.

This is a small and cozy one bedroom studio that opens onto a spacious deck and large backyard. A great spot to unwind or watch the sunset.

Just a 4 minute stroll away, Lorenzen Bay offers tranquil harbour views, dotted with gentle sailing boats. Moonlight Bay is a 12 min walk, on high tide this is a great swimming and picnic spot.

Cafes are only are a quick 2 min drive.

The space
Inside, you’ll find a comfortable queen bed, a small but modern bathroom and cute kitchenette—all curated for a simple and effortless stay.

Please note the kitchenette contains a microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. We also supply tea, coffee and milk. There is also a bbq you can use on request during summer.

The studio is very private, with its own separate entrance.

Located a 3 minute drive or a 25 minute walk into the town centre, and a 5 minute walk down to Lorenzen Bay.

The studio is spacious and has all you need for short or longer stays.

The kitchen area offers plenty of bench space with a microwave/oven, cooking elements, fridge, kettle and toaster.

There is complimentry tea, herbal teas, instant coffee and sugar provided for your use (please bring your own milk if required).

We have a comfy new high quality queen bed, as well as a new sofa to lounge on. Linen, towels, hand and body soap are provided.

The living area opens out to a small private deck with a lovely outlook, sunsets and views to Mt Karioi.

Piko studio is on the same property as our family home where we live with our kids. Although completely private and self contained with own entrance and outdoor area, it’s important to note there may be some minor noise travel during the day. Our sunny studio retreat is 18sqm and furnished with a queen bed, table and stools. Spacious yet cosy, it has its own little bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette and fridge. Relax on the patio or explore the area's beautiful beaches and bush walks.

We live in the countryside where we are surrounded by lush vegetation. Our studio is situated in a sunny location with a private patio. Warm and comfortable, with a kitchenette space to make tea/coffee, breakfast etc, and a small bathroom, it is perfect for a weekend retreat. Although private and separate from our family home, we do have 3 young boys so the odd noise may occasionally escape our home! We are a busy family and love to be outside on the property, playing or gardening. We love our guests to feel free to interact with us and enjoy the property, but should you want total privacy, that is fine too.

Parking is ample at the top of our driveway and access to the studio is flat and easy. You are more than welcome to wander around the property and use the basketball court!

Our Studio is a simple, comfortable space created for family, friends and guests to relax when visiting Raglan (Whaingaroa).

Ideal for those needing a central spot to rest and relax when visiting Raglan for events/weddings, quick surf trips or a weekend away to explore all Raglan has to offer.

The space
We are a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to Raglan township and we are spoilt for morning coffee spots with two within a 10 minute walk from the house.

The Studio set up is private from our main living area and is located on the bottom level of our two storey home. We are an active family so you will likely hear our sons Moss and Eddy playing, and Chip (our three year old Border Terrier) from time-to-time but we do our best to keep noise to a minimum during your stay.

You will have access to a small fridge/freezer, toaster, jug & tea/coffee making facilities (tea and Raglan Roast coffee provided), however the space isn't set up for cooking meals. Make the most of all the delicious eateries in Raglan and bring some takeaway home to enjoy while watching the sunset over Karioi.

The bed is a comfortable queen sized bed with quality linen bedding and pillows. The accompanying lounge space is set up to either soak up the afternoon sun while looking at Karioi or sit around the coffee table enjoying a game of cards or backgammon.

During your stay you can explore all the Rangitahi Peninsula has to offer - beautiful bush track walks, ample swim spots for a quick wake up or cool off swim in Summer, frisbee golf, tennis and half basketball court.

You will have your own park and private access within the property. There is ample carparking on the road if you find yourself with two vehicles.

A key will be available on arrival and if you are arriving late, we will ensure the lights are on for you.

Other things to note
We don't have a TV permanently set up in the room, however there is one available if you'd like it set up for your stay. The TV has Chromecast available for you to stream from your phone.

Wifi available.

If you are travelling with a little one, we have a portacot available for use, however we aren't set up for children over the age of two needing proper beds yet.

Our dog Chip is fully contained and fenced in upstairs. If you are travelling and missing some doggo interaction, he would love to meet you anytime though.

A heater will be provided if it's looking like cooler weather.

We encourage recycling and separation of food waste from the rubbish bin. We are lucky to have an amazing food waste programme here in Raglan.

Loud music and parties are not tolerated. Please respect the neighbourhood and our family upstairs.

Enjoy some time away in Raglan. Located five minutes drive away from the beach or town. Great for a couples getaway, or a couple of surfers wanting to visit the breaks while also being in walking distance from the pub.

The Cabin is a fresh, studio-apartment meets tiny home space.

Guest access
The Cabin is on the same property as our home, however there is a separate gate for you to use. Feel free to use the backyard, we will respect your privacy during your stay.

Other things to note
To bring your vehicle onto the property you will need to drive over the grass. This has never been a problem but if there has been rain we ask that you don’t use the backyard to turn your car around, you can reverse out of the gate and turn from there. There is also parking on the road next to the cabin.

This stylish little room is close to all you'll want to do here in Raglan. Just a 10 minute walk to town where you'll find plenty of choice for places to have a coffee or dine out, or to the wharf where you'll find a great cafe/restaurant. Enjoy their Friday lunchtime special. So park up and enjoy the cafe scene or nightlife with no worries about getting home safely. Tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and toaster. Small fridge. No breakfast supplied. Definitely no pets. No Wifi or Sky

The space
This is a Studio Room with all linen supplied. It is a heat and eat room, with a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. (The room is not set up for cooking meals). It is a private room beneath the main dwelling and has its own private bathroom. There is a cafe table and chairs just to the side of the room. The entire front of the room can be opened up with a bifold door. Parking is right at the door. There is a sofa bed available on request. Please note - there is no Sky tv or Wifi. There is a TV which accesses Freeview

Our guests are more than welcome to come up and enjoy the view from the deck. Plenty of seating available. Look across to the harbour or out over the estuary to wonderful views of Mount Karioi. This is a shared space with us, the hosts.. .
