The one-bedroom cottage is a tranquil haven with a separate kitchen/living area which faces the vege garden. There's an occasional train.
Private entrance and off-street parking outside the door. Heating/aircon.
Breakfast - muesli, yogurt, toast, egg and Nespresso coffee
We are very close to the centre of the historic town and heritage buildings. Easy access to the river walkway and shops. Supermarket and cafes are a 5 minute stroll. Thermal hot pools are 5 minutes away.
Pets are welcome.
The space
Our place is great for singles and couples, private and comfortable. We have a bed settee in the lounge if needed.
The flat has a hob, microwave and fridge and all the crockery and cutlery you will need to eat in if you choose. There is a new TV with built in DVD player plus a selection of DVDs and books.
Guest access
Guests are free to wander around our river front property as well as have access to the Helensville River walkway from the garden - a pleasant one kilometre walk along the Kaipara River.
There is a washing machine and clothes line available..
Other things to note
There are pets around - three hens, two cats and a dog - all of which like pats.

Guests have private access to the guest home and surrounding private easy walking paths. There is dedicated parking space in front of the woodshed, seperate from the host home.
Proper walking shoes are highly recommended if you decide to explore, especailly during wet weather. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times due to hilly and slippery surfaces.
Other things to note
Cleaning Fee: If cooking causes odor and oil splatter that isn't cleaned, an $80 fee will be added after check-out. Otherwise, no extra cleaning fee is charged.
Lost Key: You will be charged $50
Bedroom 1: Bunk bed with a top bunk for people under 50kgs only.
Bedroom 2: One queen-size bed.
Occupancy Limit: Maximum of 4 people (3 adults) allowed. This will be checked during check-in. Unauthorized guests will be charged $50 per person if it wasn't booked initially.
Outdoor Decking: Not suitable for infants/toddlers due to no railing. Supervision is recommended for all children.
