The Tui studio is a converted garage on the grounds of the Aarangi Tui Motel. It has everything you should need for a short stay in Paihia. It is a small space for a family with bathroom and kitchenette. The room has a queen bed and a single bed and a queen sofa bed (not recommended for long stays). Think beach bach style, sleepout, no frills.

The space
It is a standard double garage size with basic amenities. We recommend for up to 4 people however there is a sofabed which you can make up, linen is provided. The kitchenette has a single burner hob and is equipped enough to make very basic meals. There is a dining table for 2 people. We supply tea and coffee sachets upon arrival, we do not top these up or service the room. We are on site if you require any assistance. This is a holiday destination, there are many other holiday homes, Airbnbs and motels. 90% of the time this area is super quiet and peaceful. There are some times of the year where it is very busy and the noise level can increase. This includes a few weeks in the summer, the blues and country music festivals. Please be aware of possible events in the town.

Other things to note
If booking before December there are some refurbishments going on around the main building. This should not affect your stay but you just need to be aware there may be some mess and noise during working hours.
We have a quiet time of 10pm in place.
If booking for 2 people but you wish to use a second bed please book for 3 people as there is a linen fee.

The space
The apartment is recently renovated with new furnishings and materials. The 2 bedrooms have King sized beds but can be changed into 4 or 2 King sized singles when needed. There is a free standing Airco in the apartment.
In the kitchen you'll find complementary coffee, tee, hot choclate and sugar. The apartment has a lock box with your entrance key
and its own car parking.

Our modern style home is located just up the hill from central Paihia so one of our features is spectacular views from all rooms. We have two very similar Top Suites which have superking beds and ensuite bathroom. On request we can change this to two single beds.
Breakfast in our communal dining area is included in the stay.
Hosts live on site so will welcome you on arrival. It is great if we have a rough idea of your arrival time

The space
This listing is part of our 4 room accommodation - Allegra House- in our home but your room is completely private and entry not through any shared space. We have two Top Suite rooms which both have super king beds with crisp sheets and a duvet and plenty of pillows. On request we can set the beds up as two singles . The room has an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is plenty of room to sit and relax in the comfortable chairs or on the balcony and facilities to make tea / coffee. There is a fridge and small amount of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc so that you can have drinks and snacks in your own space and feel 'at home'. Aircon is supplied to heat and cool the room. There is a bush track down towards the village that makes is just a short walk down for meals, boat trips, beach - maybe a little bit longer for the uphill home.

Your room is part of our 4 room accommodation and we also live on the property. You are welcome to enjoy all the outside seating areas and garden as well as the guest lounge. You have a key to the entrance so that you can come and go as you please

During your stay
We, Brita and Heinz, live on the premises so are around most days and happy to help you with anything you need. We enjoy sharing time with you over breakfast and help you plan you day in our wonderful area. This can be an active or relaxing day - your choice!!

Like all of our apartments, a separate entrance and dedicated car park area all part of the package. We operate as self entry only so your holiday is uninterrupted by your hosts and other guests, feel free to say hi at any stage though as we live on site.

The Pacifika Suite features a spacious lounge with natural textures and all the luxurious necessities to make your stay exceptional. The fully equipped kitchen is an invitation to make yourself at home. The separate bedroom has a kingsize bed and is 'Pacifka themed'. The bathroom again features the signature spa bath, large separate shower, candles, bath salts and bathrobes. Air conditioning is throughout the suite with an electric fireplace in the lounge. Approximately 85m2 in total

The space
Our property has 2 levels, with 3 x 1 bedroom fully self contained apartments and our own apartment which is on the top level. The Pacifika is also on the second level and located to the rear of the property but captures a nice sea view from the balcony and comes with a bbq for those who like to entertain outdoors.

Like all or our apartments they have their own entrance and dedicated carpark. We are a self check in only as we do not have office hours but as we live on site we are contactable 24/7 if not in person you can reach us by mobile

Tea, coffee, sugar etc are provided and if you stay3 nights or more we provide a nice bottle of wine, beer, juice and water along with a jug of milk so you can relax after your long day without having to duck out straight away

Guest access
You have total use of your apartment and with keyless touch pad entry you can arrive at any time of the day or night without having to check in with us as a code will be sent to your mobile and or email address. Please provide the mobile and or email address you will be using while in NZ as we would hate you to be locked out.

We are a non smoking air bnb so please refrain from smoking inside while you are staying with us.
If you do smoke please make sure you close the doors so the smoke does not go back into the apartments.
