It is also just a short walk to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Our visit there to see the Māori cultural experience was a highlight and we went back for a second day (included in the price of the entry ticket). The staff were all super friendly and informative. Would also recommend taking the ferry over to Russell. The area around the ferry landing is pretty and has lots of options for a relaxing lunch overlooking the beach, but I would also suggest taking the 15 mins walk across to Long Beach, which is stunning. Also recommend visiting Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, either as part of a boat trip around the islands or as a direct return ferry trip. I was very sceptical but the visit there was another highlight for us"

Our holiday home is in a superb location in Paihia with spectacular sea views overlooking one of Paihia's most popular swimming beaches.

It is only 10 minutes walk along the waterfront to the village and a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants although guests usually prefer to dine on the deck and enjoy the outdoor furniture, superior bbq, electric awning and stunning views!

The split level home is elevated quiet and private. It contains two bedrooms that are well separated and in the second bedroom you can choose to have either twin singles or a super king. There is a fully equipped kitchen with walk in pantry, a spacious lounge with leather settees and breathtaking views of the Bay or native bush from all areas of the house. This early New Zealand design home is set in a quiet bush clad private location in central Paihia. It is just 7 minutes walk from main the beautiful Paihia beaches, the wharf where boat trips leave from and there are bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as the town centre where there are supermarkets, a bakery, takeaways, book shops, tourist shops and more. Leave the car at home and walk to the beach, your boat trip or town, avoiding pricey parking in town! The driveway is a bit steep (most of Paihia's homes are set on hills) so you'll be ready to have a drink and relax when you get home.

3 beautifully renovated bedrooms make up the top floor of this family holiday home, with another bedroom located downstairs. All linen is provided- crisp white sheets and linen duvets give a luxury beach vibe. Beach towels are also provided at no extra cost so no need to worry about bringing your own! There are two new bathrooms making the home comfortable for up to 6 people to stay. Both bathrooms have large walk in showers. One of the bathrooms has a washing machine and dryer in it for you to use at no extra charge. Washing powder is provided and there is a clothesline out the back or a drying wrack inside.

The combined kitchen/dining is great for the whole family to socialise and cook together. Enjoy your stay in Paihia in our super comfy semi-rural family home. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac street, with a stunning view over the native bush and you can see the Te Haumi river meandering through the mangroves.

Far away from the big city noise but so close to town for excursions, restaurants, adventures, history and even if it's just for drinks.

Ferries just 5 min away, boat ramp just 2 min away! Perfect family home!

We got already 70 plus excellent reviews from other booking websites - don't hesitate to book now.

Our house sleeps easily 10 adults (2 in each room plus living room), and we have one small rollaway available, the couch can be used as a sleeping spot and we have a cot on request. If you book for 12 adults, be aware this is just a 4 bedroom house. We had many groups staying that were active outdoors all day and only retired for the night - so this comes then as a bargain.

Otherwise, you can easily sleep 8 adults and 4 children (the bunk bed is a regular single mattress on top, double mattress and move-out trundler) plus rollaway bed in wardrobe and cot in wardrobe. Please note, that the amount of bathrooms stays the same: 1 toilet, one bathroom and one shower with toilet.

Both rollaway and cot free of charge but please let us know you require them to be set up and we happily assist with this.

Our house is warm, and dry, with all day sun, a 7 minute walk to town, to 1 of the many beautiful Bay of Islands beaches and to the ferry over to the quaint and beautiful Russell Village. Only a 30 minute coastal walk to to culturally significant and historical Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

Full access to the kitchen, outdoor dining area, and BBQ. We are friendly and easy going, and are happy to hang, or to respect your space.

Super central base to explore the Bay. It is a basic apartment right in the heart of Paihia. 1 queen bed. The kitchen has a microwave and electric 2 hob for prepairing and cooking basic meals. There is a large BBQ area right outside the back door.

Situated in Haruru with spectacular sunrises overlooking Waitangi river flowing out to the ocean, our home is 5 minutes drive to Paihia village or 20 to Kerikeri township… making it a wonderful base for you to explore the beautiful Bay of Islands. You will have a key to your own room equipped with a bar fridge/kettle/microwave and you are most welcome to relax in our lounge. We have a cat and dog that spend quite a bit of time indoors so our place is not ideal if you’re sensitive to pet hair.

I spend quite a bit of time away in Auckland, but Doug is always home after 11am (usually painting in his studio) when he finishes his morning bakings at Third Wheel Coffee Co in Paihia (yes he’s a baker as well as an artist). He has a much loved mural on Coutts Ave (near Te Haumi Beach) that you can go snap a funky photo with. Some of the art in the house are also Doug’s. If you like his style of work, he may have a few pieces available for sale in the studio so please don’t hesitate to ask (most of his work is displayed at the cafe where he works so you might like to pay them a visit too… they make the best coffee and cabinet food in town).

We want you to feel welcome in our home… please do relax in the lounge or cook in the kitchen if you feel like it as we don’t mind sharing these spaces. All three bedrooms have locks on the doors, we will keep ours closed and encourage you to do the same for everyone’s peace of mind :)

Fully self contained, quiet and private yet located close to beach, boat ramp, supermarket and cafes. Newly built and
cozy with plenty of outdoor flow.
The shower although private it is outside. May not suit everyone.
There are bikes and a touring kayak. At high tide there is access to the Waitangi river and plenty enough time to paddle to Haruru falls or Paihia and back.

Queen size bed in loft space,single sofa bed may be used for a 3rd person for an additional cost.

Our cosy tiny studio room is in an ideal location for exploring Paihia and beyond. It has a private entrance, Queen bed, Ensuite, small equiped kitchenette, private little court yard with access to BBQ area. Part of a motel but a private feel. It works for short stays for 1 or 2 people.

The space
This is a small studio with a quirky feel. It has a small kitchenette with microwave, a 2 burner hob enabling preperation and cooking of basic meals. The ensuite has a half basin, Toilet and shower (shower has a step up to it). This is a basic, small unit, reflected in the price.
We supply tea and coffee sachets upon arrival, we do not top these up or service the room. We are on site if you require any assistance. This is a holiday destination, there are many other holiday homes, Airbnbs and motels. 90% of the time this area is super quiet and peaceful. There are some times of the year where it is very busy and the noise level can increase. This includes a few weeks in the summer, the blues and country music festivals. Please be aware of possible events in the town.

You can walk pretty much everywhere in town, supermarket, wharf for Russell ferry, Restaurants and shops, beaches etc. Parking is right outside, marked number 5.

Other things to note
We are part of a motel but the studio is a querky, private little space. This space is ideal for short stays, it is small (reflected in the price).
If booking before December there are some refurbishments going on around the main building. This should not affect your stay but you just need to be aware there may be some mess and noise during working hours.
We have a quiet time of 10pm in place.

Very spacious, 1-bedroom apartment. Super central, right in the heart of Paihia township. Quiet and safe. Easy 5-10 minute walk to all essentials, town, supermarket, beach, bus stop, and wharf. Located in the grounds of Aarangi Tui Motel, a small family run, holiday let complex. It is a basic unit with everything you could possibly need! Perfect for you and a friend.

The apartment has 1 queen beds. Spacious living space with dining table for 4 people. Kitchenette with twin electric hob, microwave, fridge and equipment for you to cook and prepare basic meals. Bathroom with step in shower. Private entrance. One free car parking space. Free WIF. Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix ready (you log into your own account). Large BBQ area just outside the back door.

Other things to note
We are part of a small family run motel accommodation. We operate a quiet time after 10pm. Please be mindful if booking during busy periods and festivals, it can get loud with people and traffic. This includes January, Waitangi, Matariki, Music festivals.
