Greystoke House is a brand new, fully self-contained home specifically designed for guests to enjoy. It has been built to also accommodate people with wheelchairs.

It has a spacious, open plan, light and sunny living area which opens onto a sun-drenched deck. There are two good size bedrooms. Bedroom one has a Queen bed with ensuite. Bedroom two has a Super King bed (or it can be altered to become two singles). This property is suitable for 4 guests (not 6 as it states at the top of the page). (Please note, that if two people book Greystoke, they are booking one bedroom only. The second bedroom will be unavailable unless arrangements are made with the host).

The main bathroom is large and spacious and meets all the requirements for guests with disabilities.

Greystoke House is set in a relaxed rural setting, yet it is a 5 minute drive to Warkworth township which boasts lovely cafe's and shops, and is approximately 15 minutes to the popular Matakana.
Matakana and the surrounding area boasts wonderful vineyards, wedding venues, beaches, golf courses, bush walks, cycle tracks, restaurants, swimming with the fish at Goat Island, or taking a ferry across to Kawau Island and much more. There is the famous Matakana farmers market every Saturday morning.

After exploring all that this fabulous area has to offer, relax the evening away with a glass of wine whilst soaking in the spa, gazing at the stars.

This home lends itself to more than simply a one night stay, rather it is a destination to escape from the hectic city life for a weekend of pure joy.

We have two 15sqm cabins situated directly adjacent to each other with a deck, privacy fence and lockable gate separating the two. There is a dedicated parking space for each cabin with additional parking spaces on-site.

The main facilities are located in the ‘communal building’ – a separate building 15 metres from the cabins that is shared by all guests. In this building, you'll find a spacious kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, a games & entertainment corner, additional toilets, showers and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals – a gas cooktop, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher with all plates, cups, cutlery and utensils provided.

The communal building opens up onto a wide uncovered deck and lush lawn that overlooks the surrounding growing areas, and is perfect for outdoor dining & games, summer barbecues and stargazing! We have a BBQ & Grill that guests are welcome to use.

This listing is for Seahorse Cabin which contains two single beds and one double bed that sleeps maximum 3 adults. The queen size loft bed in the cabin is only suitable for 2 small children (maximum 80kg combined) or one adult.

Please note that if you only book one cabin for your stay, the other cabin may be booked out by separate guests who will share the kitchen, lounge and shower facilities in the communal building. A group of up to five adults can rent out both cabins if they wish to have full exclusive use of the facilities during their stay.

Snells Beach is a tidal beach that is calm and offers very safe swimming for kids of all ages. Enjoy the beach path for a stroll, jog or scooter ride along our 2 kilometer sandy beach where you can stop at playgrounds. You can book in for lunch at the beautiful Brick Bay Winery and Sculpture Trail or bring apples to feed the donkeys at Highfield Reserve. If you want to venture further, the house is a great launching point to nearby Matakana, Martin's Bay, Omaha Beach and the stunning Tawharanui.
The house is a well kept old batch with some updates to make it more comfortable. Please see the pictures and feel free to message with questions. There is a large, new back deck with seating and a trampoline and tree house for the kids. A Weber BBQ grill and accessories are provided for outside cooking or inside there is a stovetop, double oven and dishwasher drawers.
The beds are comfortable and have plenty of pillows and quality linens. (Note: the green bunkbed room has slightly thinner mattresses so is better suited for kids.) Sheets and bath towels are provided.
1 double kayak, 1 paddle board, 4 life jackets and beach toys are on the premises for your use.

Please be aware, this is our actual home - not an empty airbnb only space, so our things will be around.
However, it also means, it comes with literally everything you could possibly need.

A short walk to town and you will find yourself in amongst the restaurants and bars around the river front. This easy home invites you to sit under the vines for a wine and soak up all the sunshine in the tree lined property. Green grass, a driveway for bikes and parks nearby will keep the children entertained. The quaint Matakana village and Matakana coast are only a 20 minute drive away, making it hard to choose which fabulous beach you will go to! This home will make great holiday memories.

The space
We have 3 comfortable bedrooms, one with a double, a queen and a super king bedroom. The super king bedroom has an ensuite and walk in wardrobe. The main bathroom is down the hall way with a bath and shower, seperate toilet next door. The laundry and garage space is downstairs and is for use of the guests.

There is a full kitchen, with dishwasher, coffee pod machine, and other usual amenities.

Other things to note
Plenty of secure off street parking for your vehicles and boats.

We have a cot mattress and portacot available if you need these for your children.

Pets may be considered outdoors. While the property isn't fully fenced, there is a deck area you could secure.

Located on a mostly unsealed road. 15 minute drive to Warkworth and a great base for day trips to Mahurangi Regional Park (20 minute drive), Omaha (30 minute drive), Matakana (25 minute drive) and Tawharanui Regional Park (45 minute drive).

Two tiny homes (48m2 each, the biggest that you can get) including 2 double bedrooms (1 x queen bed, 1 x bunk bed room) and 2 single bedrooms, with enough space to dine, lounge and cook.

The spa pool is for adult use only and restricted to guests over 18 years of age. Additionally, there is a separate hut on the property reserved for the owners when the main house is booked. This hut has its own outdoor spa bath, which is not available for guest use.

To ensure safety, adults should supervise young children at all times when swimming or playing near the pool area.
