Before leaving *before 11am, owners require guest/s lest 30 mins to check out the Cottage, please do not leave key in Cottage with doors left opened.[ after owner checks cottage, guest hand key directly back to owner by hand, do not leave key in letter box. Thankyou .

Tucked away on private just under 5 acres of, the Country Cottage has a Pine tree entrance, long sweeping entrance front steps up to sun drenched front veranda sliding door, Back door ramp access. The Cottage is very light, clean tidy, safely fully furnished.

12 The Lane is situated down a rural private lane. It is a luxurious self contained studio on a lifestyle block approximately 10 minutes to Palmerston North and 5 Minutes to Ashhurst and 15 minutes to Massey University by car. There is small kitchenette with a microwave, jug, toaster and tea, coffee and a small selection of cereals. Plenty of off street parking with room for bigger vehicles and trailers. You may meet our big fluffy cat, crazy chickens and our friendly sheep.

The space
There is a small grass courtyard and outdoor furniture.

Guest access
You are welcome to venture into our small orchard (through the black gate which you can see for the studio, then behind the big hedge) to sample our fruit and big walnut tree when in season but please close the gates behind you as you go in and out.

Your space is separate from our main house in a Kiwi style sleep-out attached to the garage.

Our place is out in the country but still close town.

Your room is separate from the house. It has a comfy double bed, shower, laundry and toilet attached with a small kitchen with microwave, air fryer oven fridge/freezer and toaster.

Tea and coffee are provided in your kitchen.

We have 3 paddocks and vegetable gardens with sheep roaming the paddocks visible from your lounge window lots of birds and sometimes native birds.

Three cafes in Ashhurst or 12 mins away in Palmy and Feilding.

The space
Your space is separate from our house in a Kiwi style sleep-out attached to the garage. It has a bedroom with comfy double bed and seperate bathroom with a high-pressure shower, washbasin, laundry and toilet. There is a small desk and WIFI if you need to work.

A selection of teas and coffee are provided.

Your bedroom and bathroom are self-contained and separate from the house with convenient parking.

Other things to note
There are three cafes and a pub just a few minute's drive away. We can recommend excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner venues in Ashhurst, Feilding, Palmerston North and beyond.
If you want to bring bikes they can be locked away overnight.

Our house used to be a church ten years ago it was converted into a four bedroom house. The front of the house has a self contained studio unit with private entrance and private garden with outdoor seating.

There is an alcove with a desk and single bed and a large bed sitting room with kitchenette and dining area. Ensuite bathroom off main room.
