Hi, I'm Cathy and have been involved in hospitality over the last few years.
The upstairs area is spacious and peaceful with a lovely view. There are 4 bedrooms with a mixture of beds.
There is a bathroom with shower, but the bath is unavailable. There is a separate toilet, lounge with TV and kitchenette. Downstairs there is another toilet.

The upstairs is for guests.

There are locks on all bedroom doors upstairs and locks on all exit doors downstairs.
I do a daily room service taking away rubbish and checking things like heaters etc. to ensure safety for all.

You are renting ONE bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Old-fashioned European-style accommodations, however with all the modern amenities like high speed broadband. Luxurious lodgings at an affordable tariff comparable with local nondescript motels' prices. Tariff is for EACH bedroom.

The space
Te Manapouri is a 1930s New Zealand character house, about 15 minutes walk to the CBD, and in a quiet NZ Heritage Street.

Two guest rooms are available, each with a queen bed to accommodate 2 people; the bathroom is shared by the two rooms. You will have to rent each bedroom separately. The bedrooms have been furnished to provide a sensuous experience, with quality beds, luxurious linen, towels and robes. The pricing/tariff stated is for each bedroom. The bedroom has a heat pump, an electric blanket and a small wall heater. There is also a ceiling fan.

We are located in a very quiet and safe Heritage-Listed street, close to Central Business District in Palmerston, making us the perfect base to explore the area.

A complimentary full breakfast is included.

The shared bathroom has many amenities including a heated towel rack, and is between the two bedrooms.

Free high speed fibre wifi and computer use. We also have an adorable cat (named Madison) on the premises, for those guests requiring recreational therapy.

Palmerston North is only 2 hours drive from Wellington, and 2 hours from Napier.

The host is well traveled and experienced in B&B operations in Manhattan NYC where he used to live, and looks forward to meeting you. His interests include photography (his works have been exhibited and published, and in private collections in the USA, Canada, and New Zealand) and stain-glass making.

The cottage is in the back section of our home. It has a comfortable interior, well equipped kitchen and offers a peaceful atmosphere for a tranquil stay in Palmerston North.

There is a lounge with two cosy sofas where you can relax in front of the TV. You can enjoy a meal on the dining room table, which seats four people. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. It is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, bakeware and glassware so you can prepare meals.

In the master bedroom, situated at the back of the cottage, is a comfortable king size bed offering a restful nights sleep. You will also find two wardrobes providing ample storage.

The other bedroom has bunks, wardrobe and laptop friendly workspace with desk and lamp.

For the business traveller there is everything you need to be work ready with ironing board and iron, hangers, and a hair dryer.

Your internet needs are catered for with fast wifi available.
