Come and enjoy our new studio. You'll be close to the city, the ferries, lots of amenities and transport, while enjoying a private, bushy setting. Fully self-contained, separate from the house, parking at the door - you're perfectly set up for an easy, enjoyable stay.

The space
Our studio was completed late 2018 and still feels brand new (only listed on Airbnb in 2021). Your cosy home away from home is 25 sqm and has all the facilities you could hope for - enjoy fast WiFi (fibre), a 47” HD TV, Sky TV (your own My Sky box including sport channels) and Chromecast. The kitchen includes a small fridge/freezer, 4-element hob and microwave. We provide tea, coffee (instant & plunger) and milk.

You won't really notice but the studio is set up to live "off the grid" if necessary. Rainwater provides all the water you'll want and is filtered at several points, but there is also a filtered water tap over the sink with "town supply" water if you prefer.

An area we call “the orchard” provides you with your own outdoor space where you can sit at a picnic table amongst pear, apple, lime, plum and walnut trees. Like much of Wellington we’ve benefited from Zealandia’s good work and, having a lot of trees here, we have more native birds every year including tui, fantail, keruru, and more recently, kaka. We’re on a large property and there may be an opportunity to use other facilities such as a covered deck area, BBQ or the garage, or sit out on the hill and enjoy some wide-open space including a harbour view – just ask.

We have our very own railway crossing too, the only private crossing on the Wellington suburban network we believe. It’s completely safe to drive across if you observe the bells and lights at the beginning of our drive but because it’s an unusual scenario some people may prefer to park on our drive and walk across the tracks. We provide photos and so on with your booking-in instructions so there are no surprises and of course you stay safe.

The trains going past are the electric suburban units, no diesel engines or freight wagons. You’ll obviously hear them when you’re outside but the studio is double-glazed and very well insulated, so you won’t really notice any noise from inside.

The Brambles is a lovingly restored 1800's outbuilding converted into a small cottage in a rural and peaceful setting. Great indoor outdoor flow to a private BBQ area, in the cottage kitchen there is a microwave, a Nespresso machine with some coffee pods & milk supplied, a 2 element electric hob and all the pots & pans you need to cook

The space
Our property is a 3 acre lifestyle block located on Udy Street, it's one of the prettiest streets in Greytown and a very popular walking route. Access to the Brambles is down a long driveway lined with olive trees and the property is not visible from the road. On the property we have 2 Dogs, a Cat, Chickens and Sheep. There will be some of our fresh farm eggs waiting for you on arrival.

The Brambles got it’s name from the wild Blackberries that run along the side of the cottage on the boundary to Pinehaven Orchard, feel free to pick your own when they’re in season.

There's a walking track at the end of our street that takes you through farmland and down to the river which is a great way to see some of the countryside.

We have a Maremma Italian Sheepdog 'Ricco' and a little white fluff ball called 'Nix' (Japanese Spitz) . They love to say a very enthusiastic hello to new visitors. We also have a Ragdoll cat 'Felix' and a couple of Kunekune pigs 'Frank & Louis' who also normally run up to the fence to say hi

So if you're looking for a tranquil rural farm experience that's easy walking distance to town then this is the place for you but if you're not an animal lover then it's fair to say that this is not the place for you ;D

Of an evening, there’s the option of the beautiful, very inviting outdoor fire, which we welcome you to come sit, relax and enjoy.

When entering the main gates from the street, guests are welcome to park next to the Garage, there you will find a black gate directly in front leading directly through to our Tropical oasis.

Turn left to the 'Pool Room', and you will find the entrance door directly opposite the pool.

Note: Our friendly family may be seen from time to time, and use the spa and pool however will keep out of your way and be respectful. Giving you the sole use when you are at the pool area.

We have a gorgeous Border Collie - Oscar who has a lovely nature and is very friendly and does not generally bark also Milly our sweet 14 year old cat.

Escape to Pine Grove Cottage, a peaceful country retreat just 1.6km from Greytown village. The cottage is part of a 1.8 hectare property just a short drive out of Greytown. As well as the very comfortable and private cottage, guests can use our cruiser bikes, walk our grounds and enjoy the country atmosphere. This is an ideal place for a couple (sorry, no children or infants allowed).

The cottage, with private access, remains purely for our guests. The patio at the front of cottage is for your use as well.

Guests also have shared access to our pool and the majority of the grounds.

The places that we would like to keep ‘family only’ is the main house and the garden/deck in front of it - this is purely for our kids to have their space and easy access to trampoline.

You will however see us around as we are actively gardening and maintaining our grounds, but we will absolutely respect your privacy while you are here.

Our place is close to the park, cafes and restaurants. We are just a quiet 5 min walk down the quality Westwood subdivision to the bustling main street of Greytown. Greytown is known for its food, shopping and as a great weekend getaway location. Our property is a contemporary clean lined house designed for flexible living. With the heated pool and tennis court our place is great for couples and families (with kids). Price is for a couple; extra (+2) adults $50, kids $25.

The pool house is a large contemporary room with an ensuite featuring all the mod cons. With a comfortable queen size bed and either a sofa bed or single beds available there is room for another couple or the kids. We provide a continental breakfast including tea, coffee & juice. We have a fridge with room for your refreshments. There is free wifi and you have access to Sky (sport & movies). Heating & cooling is via air conditioning. You are welcome to borrow our racquets for a hit of tennis & we provide pool towels for a leisurely swim in our lovely swimming pool. Small BBQ available for use on request.

Woodside Bed and Breakfast is a brand new quiet Bed and Breakfast in rural Wairarapa. The house is 7 minutes drive from the centre of Greytown and 1 minute drive from the Greytown Railway Station (Woodside).
We have 3 double or twin rooms available with cooked Breakfast included in the cost.

The space
Each room has a bed that can be configured as double or twin; a Bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin; a mini fridge (for your Wairarapa Wines); tea and coffee making facilities; a wardrobe, TV (streaming services only - we are set up for the free to air services and you can use your own paid for ones), table and chairs; and an outdoor table and chairs.

We also offer a Taxi Service for our guests, so you don't have to drive to go see the vineyards or when going out to dinner.

Shy Cottage is a stand alone 1890's settlers cottage, nestled at the back of our property, which allows for privacy and peace and quiet.
Shy Cottage was moved onto the section in 2002 and was renovated and insulated so now is cosy, warm and romantic. There is a full kitchen with a dining area and lounge with a wood burner. Off the comfortable bedroom is a lovely bathroom with a claw foot bath and separate shower. The outdoor spa bath if available is an additional $20 per night

Breakfast can be pre-booked. $10 per person for continental or $20 per person for a full breakfast delivered to your room for you to cook. Please advise at the time of your booking. We also have a garden spa bath that can be booked for $20 per night. Message us if you would like to check availability

Relax and enjoy the serenity of all that Greytown, Martinborough and the Wairarapa has to offer. The Castle is the ideal retreat for a long weekend or a night away. Easy 10 minute walk to the center of Greytown or short 15 min drive to the wineries of Martinborough. Perfect location for Greytown's Festival of Christmas held every July. Fully insulated with a heat pump that warms or cools the entire space.
Ideal for couples retreat, however an extra futon can be provided for a third guest.

The space
1 Bedroom with separate Lounge/Dining Room. An ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Accessible access with a gentle ramp up to a private deck area and level entry into the lounge area. While the Castle is ideal for couples looing for an escape or couple time, there is enough space if you wish to bring an infant or small child with you for your visit. We do have a low bed suitable for a child. Just let us know if you want us to set it up. You can also bring your own portable cot if you wish. A young child could comfortably sleep on the couch in the lounge at a pinch, or we can provide a single futon bed as well.

Great base for Hockey Tournaments at Clareville which is only 12 mins drive away.
