Because the Guest areas are upstairs the property is not really suitable for those in a wheelchair or who cannot climb stairs.

We will give you a key to the front door which leads immediately to the stairs and to your accomodation upstairs. You will have the whole upstairs area. This means you have privacy and can come and go as you please with no inconvenience to us.

We will talk you through all there is to do and see on the Kapiti Coast and give you guidance on how to get there, travel times what you will see, do etc. A visit to the Waikanae Beach to see Kapiti Island is a must. A visit out to Kapiti Island if you are a nature lover. Southwards Car Museum, bush and river walks, restaurants and cafes are some of the activities.

The space
This is a self contained cottage next to the main house. The driveway is shared, and there is parking for the guest house right behind it.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the cottage, and are welcome to use the paddle boards and kayaks that are stored on the fence on the other side of the driveway.

Other things to note
There are two very friendly dogs in the main house. They may enjoy barking when you come down the driveway, but they are enclosed, and will settle down pretty quickly.

Boutique Loft, brand new set in picturesque garden with two decks. Separate from main home. Ten minute walk from Station, secure parking, very private and sunny. Heated swimming pool during summer.

The space
Bed is a king separated by a semi wall from the lounge/kitchenette. Couch (in lounge section) can be opened out into a queen bed.

Guests can use the very large front lawn and pergola. The swimming pool is available - only heated during the summer months

You are more than welcome to access a treadmill located in the office downstairs if you wish. Children may want to feed the quail & Tui's plus check out the eels in the pond with supervision from a parent. (food can be provided at request)
The guesthouse is totally self contained complete with Microwave, Oven, Hob, Nespresso Machine, breakfast supplies such as Tea, Coffee, spreads, bread, cereal, fruit and milk so you can put together whatever you feel like on the day.
The separate bedroom has a Super King bed & double robe and drawers.

I am happy to do laundry for you and if so their will be a small charge for this of $10 each load wash, dryed and folded if required.

The space
This is an original 1950s bach-style space, so expect a few quirks from this old girl. But it is a warm, dry, recently renovated cosy space with a modern ensuite bathroom. The room has a small kitchenette with all the facilities you need to keep your wine chilled and make your partner a morning cup of tea or coffee and toast. The studio was recently renovated by hosts who love to travel, so you will find all the amenities to ensure a delightful stay, including a divine king-size bed that guarantees you a blissful night’s sleep.

Outside is the perfect place to soak up the warm rays on your private, sheltered deck. You have the use of a Baby Weber BBQ, and a hot shower for rinsing off after a dip in the ocean.

Access is by your own private drive, where you can park your car. You have your own private courtyard, where you won't be disturbed. Your host's house is to the rear of the section, but is separate from the guesthouse and courtyard.
