The main bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a king single bed and a single trundle bed that pops up to standard height. All beds have inner spring pillow top mattresses.

You will have access to the entire apartment, plus the shared outdoor seating area and the washing lines. You may also use a car parking space in the shared off street parking area.

We have put so much love into this little but comfortable unit. We absolutely adore it and hope you will too.
Lots of details have been added which are hard to describe but should all add to your enjoyment.

The outdoor 2 person bath has a detachable shower head to wash your doggies or your hair in the tub.
There is an outdoor bath that can be privatized with tall retractable screens around the bath area.
The pullouts and furniture are all good quality and we have made it our priority to be soft and comfortable beds. The pullout will have a least 1 topper to optimise softness (when its not a last minute booking).
There are fairy lights and feature lights strung across the entire deck to provide a lovely romantic mood lighting in the evenings.
A BBQ to cook your favourite delights on those warm summer evenings.
Dog bed and bowls provided to make sure your pup is comfortable.
The bnb is double glazed, well heated/cooled with a large heat pump.
It is lovely and quiet inside with a warm homely feel.
Bubble bath, Himalayan & Epsom salts for soaking in the tub!

Let us know when your dog is coming and we will put out some treats. There is a couple dog puzzles, a bed and water/food bowls for your pet pal.
We are happy for you to sleep your dog inside if they are non-shedding, otherwise we are more than happy to provide you with an XXL crate (big enough for our Belgian Shepherd). Please do not let dogs on the furniture, at all.
We have prioritised privacy. The unit is fenced right around with its own gate. The fencing is up to 2.2m high between the main dwelling to ensure your privacy.
There is a small gap underneath the gate and on the side - very very small dogs such as a chihuahua may be able to squeeze out. We have tried a maltese sized dog and it couldn't fit but something smaller may be able to.
The main dwelling is tenanted, please do not disturb them as they have nothing to do with BnB. We live a few mins drive away so can be there if you need us.
The outdoor deck area is all covered so rain or sunshine you can be outside. There are retractable screens so most sides of the deck can be more protected.

Relax in the tub with complimentary bath salts and bubble bath. This is great in rain or shine. Soak in the candlelight and listen to the rain on the roof overhead, or unwind under the fairy lights and enjoy a drink in the tub!
The ceiling height is 2.1m. If you are over 2m tall, you might be best to find another place otherwise you may need to duck your head inside.
Also, note the shower sliding doors entry is somewhat narrow. The shower is 90cm square but the entry is slightly narrow. That said, most people shouldn't find it a problem as it is still an off-the-shelf shower door. The opening width is 40cm.

We are dog lovers but we also want the place kept lovely for everyone. Please read house rules before bringing along your furry friend.

No parties. No noisy dogs. Dogs that are left alone at the property must not be noisy, nor left for considerable lengths of time.

Riverside Gold is a two-bedroom self-contained studio accommodating up to 4 people in a peaceful, quiet residential area.

The spacious bedroom has a king-size bed and ample wardrobe storage, and the attached bathroom has a large tiled walk-in shower.

55” TV with inbuilt Chromecast, and Netflix with the opportunity to keep you entertained.

There is an extra bedroom with a single bed and a sofa bed in the living area for an extra friend or child.

Our home is set on the city boundary just 8 minutes from the City Centre, 5 minutes from Palmerston North Hospital, 15 minutes to Massey University and very well positioned for walking, tramping and biking tracks around the Manawatu . Our modern home is on 2.5 acres and surrounded by open countryside with great views to the windmills and just outside the apartment, we have a lovely Highland cow named Toffee who shares the paddock with some Wiltshire sheep, an interesting self shearing breed.

The space
Living just on the edge of the city, we are blessed with peace and tranquillity.

Our home is suitable for those who want the convenience of town but want to enjoy a taste of the rural lifestyle, as well as business people who want a quiet retreat after a busy day.

The apartment is accessed via a patio door and parking is available right outside where there is a patio with table and chairs to the front of the apartment looking out over the windmills. Guests are also welcome enjoy the large rear patio which has a twin rocking chair as well as the rest of the gardens for a leisurely picnic (picnic blankets available), or to enjoy the simple pleasure of our adult swings, a great spot to watch the magnificent sunsets.

We have a very large secure parking area which will easily accommodate cars with trailers, caravans or campervans. The property is accessed via electric gates.

Loan bikes are available for a nominal fee. Pick up and drop off to city and airport (just 5 minutes away) can also be arranged.
Our open view at the front also allows for the watching the awesome sunrise looking towards the windmills whilst enjoying breakfast.

Guests are also welcome to help themselves to produce from our vege garden in summer.

Ideally you would have a car when staying at our property as local buses would still leave you with a 15 minute walk to our home BUT we are most happy to pick-up from and drop-off to the city, airport (5 minutes away), the railway station (10 minutes) or the bus station (10 minutes away) for a small fee.

We are happy for you to charge your EV on our premises at a cost of $15 per charge.

We also have bikes for hire including a tandem!

Electric scooter hire is available all over the city, a fun an enjoyable way to get around.

For your convenience, for the first morning of your stay, we provide a continental breakfast of homemade museli, bread and spreads. Complimentary freshly ground coffee, Moccona coffee and a variety of teas are also provided for the duration of your stay.

With a little notice ,guests can order freshly made Italian style pizza direct from our pizza oven along with a glass of wine for $20. (You don't need cash as we can request payment directly through Airbnb for this service, if you prefer)

The space
We are located down one of Palmy's beautiful tree-lined avenues in the suburb of Hokowhitu. This newly built studio apartment features a queen bed with separate bathroom and walk in wardrobe.

The kitchenette features a toaster, kettle, nespresso machine, microwave and bar fridge. There is no kitchen sink, oven or stovetop.

Please be aware that the only access is via internal stairs that are open to the entire space, so may not be suitable for elderly, disabled or very young children.

At present we do only have on-street parking, we hope to have this sorted in the coming months with a new driveway being laid.

We work hard to tread as lightly as possible on our planet and encourage everyone who visits to embrace recycling, use our compost bins, hang damp towels in the hot-water cupboard or pop them on the line, use the travel coffee mugs while you're here and cut back on throwaway cups, use our water bottles and shopping bags.

It's ideal for 3-6 months as your home while you establish yourself from when moving to Palmerston North or here on a fixed contract or academic on sabbatical.

Each main bedroom is a double, with a king sized bed, and the 5th smaller room boasts a fab day bed and additional trundle (roll-a-way) single bed, turning it into a bedroom or play room for the kids. A heat pump ensures the perfect temperature at all times.
