The negative which was not a negative for us was that the in hotel restaurant had closed two weeks before and was not available for use. The space
The apartment is fully self contained with a complete kitchen including oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine. Because the space enjoys absolute privacy there are no window coverings so you can enjoy the views day and night. There is a flat screen TV with Netflix plus free Wifi. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan keep you warm in the winter or cool in the summer. Everything is new and spotless. From our apartment you are just a stone's throw from Sumner Village where you will find cafes, bars, restaurants, movie theatres, shops and of course the beautiful beaches and famous Cave Rock. We recommend having a car when you stay here as we are at the top of a hill. There are many lovely walks and bike rides in this area and you can easily hire surfboards, paddle-boards, bikes, and even land yachts. We will be happy to help you find whatever you need to make your stay perfect.

The apartment has it's own direct access from the driveway, separate to the rest of the house. Guests may park one vehicle in the driveway. Access to the apartment is via a numbered key pad. The apartment is up one flight of stairs on the first floor and there is no lift access. We recommend that you have a car when you stay here.

Other things to note
Our property is located up a hill. Guests are advised to have a car and free parking is provided. The road to our property is not too challenging provided you drive considerately. When there are parked cars the road can be too narrow in some places for two-way traffic. In this situation downhill traffic gives way to uphill and usually we give a friendly wave to acknowledge this curtesy. Always remember to keep left.

This sunny apartment has 2 bedrooms, a large lounge, kitchenette and a bathroom. There is also a sunny terraced area outside with a small table and chairs to enjoy the view. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic amenities you need. The apartment is entirely your own private space.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom has two king size single beds. Good quality sheets and bedding is provided with extra pillows and blankets if needed.
