The studio is beautifully appointed itself with lovely personal touches to make you feel at home and very comfortable. Secluded with its very own large deck, expect lots of sun! This is the best spot on the property in the afternoon. Great for your drinks of choice, a quiet read or simply just soaking up the glorious Marlborough sunshine after a day out exploring and sampling your bounty of local delights.
An easy 15 -20 minute stroll via the picturesque Taylor River Walkway takes you into the town centre Seymour Square, the ASB theatre, Convention Centre, Library, restaurants, shopping, cafes and much more.

You will have the whole back yard area including a private car park especially for you which is secured by automatically controlled gates. You will be able to come and go at your leisure. You may see us from time to time if we are watering or harvesting from the garden.

Please note I no longer provide breakfast. There are numerous options close by and a wonderful coffee cart within 5 mins walk. There is tea, coffee, sugar and milk for your convenience and I have a welcome basket for you on arrival.

Our nearest shopping complex is a 5 minute drive away in Springlands where you will find Woolworths supermarket, chemist, beauty therapy, hair salon, cafe, Speights Ale House and fitness centre.

We have a grey cat called Walter living on the property. It would be unusual for him to visit or be around the studio. He does not usually seek out human interaction but you never know, they can be fickle creatures!

Our guests get the exclusive use of the two bedroom apartment and beautiful private courtyard.

The front access is through a gate into the private courtyard.

There is also rear parking and a back door.


Please note this is a two storey apartment with internal stairs which are part of the original 90 year old building. These stairs are building compliant but they are narrow and steep and they may pose an issue if you have mobility issues.
