Our apartment is very central to the ferry terminal, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is a swimming beach, children's playground, minigolf, aquarium, picture theatre, and more, across the road.

During Summer, our guests have free access to the large swimming pool located within Picton Yacht Club or take one of the fantastic organised fishing or sight seeing trips from the hire facilities located in the car park in front of our apartment. There are lots of fantastic walking tracks nearby, a great playground mini golf so something for everyone.

Welcome to our lovely apartment, which is perfectly located in a quiet street surrounded by native bush. Only a 4 minute walk to the Marina and a 10 minute walk into the centre of Picton where you will find a great selection of restaurants, activities and shops. Our apartment has everything you need for a perfect Marlborough Sounds getaway!
If you are travelling with a boat, there is plenty of room for parking a vehicle, boat & trailer in the cul-de-sac at the end of our driveway.

The Space:
The accommodation is stocked with everything you need for a wonderful stay.
The bedroom can be set up with a King Size Bed or 2 Single Beds. It is set up as a King by default so if you want to have 2 Single beds just let us know when you book.
We also have a high chair and porta-cot available if you are travelling with little ones :-)

Enjoy the peaceful leafy environment, birdsong, relax and watch the ferries arrive and leave, boats in the marina and views of the hills and surrounds.

Cater for yourself or take a 10 minute walk down the hill to lovely cafes, casual and formal dining restaurants and sample the local cuisine. The local supermarket has online ordering so why not order your groceries, have them delivered or collect on arrival.

There are unique shops, harbour attractions and awesome short and day walks as well as half and full day cruises into the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. So much to do and see in Picton .. plus only a 15 minute drive to the famous vineyards of Marlborough.

At night the lights and quiet will ensure you unwind and have a great break away. We welcome you to stay and sample life in our seaside town of Picton. You can also ask about our spacious one bedroom apartment - enjoying the same views.

Please note: As we have awesome views and the apartment is at the top of the hill, we have a typical hillside driveway, it is steep but safe with very little traffic. You do need good medium fitness to walk up, especially initially with your suitcases. We are happy to provide the local shuttle bus number to start your holiday in a relaxing way.

CHILDREN: While we have grandchildren who visit the apartment .. because of the extensive balconies the accommodation may not be suitable for small children unless very closely supervised as we have hedges not fences, stairs and large verandahs. Our darling grandchildren, especially the small ones, are supervised at all times. We are happy to answer any questions.

The owner is very knowledgeable about NZ, especially the local area and nearby Wellington, and can assist with local recreational and travel plans.

There is one completely private upstairs double bedroom with private outside deck, a glimpse of the harbour and lovely green bush views. The second double bed is in a semi private screened off area of the spacious downstairs living space.

The bedroom can be set up with a King Size Bed or 2 Single Beds. It is set up as a King by default so if you want to have 2 Single beds just let us know when you book.

Be warned . . . She is very friendly and may wander into the apartment and make herself quite at home! She has also been known to make herself comfortable inside vehicles, so if you have left your vehicle doors open when unpacking or packing up, it's worth having a look before you lock up the car or go anywhere as you may have an extra passenger! 😊

Accommodating up to 6 people, this spacious apartment offers a huge balcony with outdoor furniture from which you can soak up stunning views of the marina and Marlborough Sounds. The apartment is located across the road from the water taxis, and facilities include a heatpump, full kitchen and laundry, 50+ SKY TV channels, and tea/coffee/hot chocolate supplies.

DAMAGE/ THEFT The guest who registers at check-in/arrival will be held accountable for any damages to the apartment
