- "We thoroughly enjoyed our Matariki 2023 long weekend stay at Studio 22. The property is compact, well resourced in terms of cutlery, crockery and cooking facilities. There is a mini bar fridge which fulfilled our needs for the weekend. The bedlinen was fresh, clean and plentiful to keep us northerners warm overnight. Outside the unit we had access to a little table and outdoor chairs which were used despite it being winter there is access to washing lines which are conveniently covered so that things could dry even in the rain. The owner was very easy to communicate with as she was prompt and professional. Would we stay there again? The answer would be yes of course."

Beach Street Studio is light and refreshing, the sound of the sea can be heard from your room and is a two minute walk. The garden is private for guests and secure for children. Suitable for singles and couples.
The coastal walkway is two minutes from the studio.
Fitzroy Beach offers surf lifesaving, two childrens pools, cafe. The village offers all amenities.

The house is two storeyed, the studio is located downstairs.

The space
There is a separate bathroom, where laundry facilities are located. The kitchen is stocked with all essential utensils, has a microwave, rice cooker, electric frying pan, slow cooker and a small weber BBQ outside the sliding doors. During your stay you are welcome to help yourself to seasonal vegetables from the garden. The studio is equipped for all possible Taranaki weather, with beach towels available and board games.

Zelda's Place is located in the Heritage Devonport Apartments. This is an iconic Art Deco building situated by the waterfront and in the heart of the New Plymouth's thriving West End Precinct with walkways, restaurants, museums, art galleries, parks and beaches all at your doorstep. This character apartment has been restored to its art deco glory and will provide you with a comfortable, convenient, stylish stay.

The space
We have fully renovated the apartment to its Art Deco glory. You will feel like you are stepping back in time to the cool era of the 1920's. The kitchen, bathroom, carpets, lighting are all brand spanking new, the windows are double glazed to offset any traffic noise.

Please note Zelda's is one of 50 other apartments and therefore is governed by a Body Corporate. Guests are expected to abide by the rules, primarily that of courtesy shown to other owner occupiers in regard to noise levels. Noise is expected to be kept to a minimum generally and specifically after 10pm. For that reason infants (0-2) are not appropriate to this dwelling and young children (2-12) may not be best suited at Zelda's. Please see House Rules for more details.

‘We have just been informed that remedial work will commence on the apartment block directly adjacent to Zeldas from Oct 5th. We regret that there will be intermittent worksite noise from 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday but have been advised there will be no work done during evenings or weekends. Our place is great for couples, friends, solo adventurers, and travellers. We live close to the coastal walkway and have views of the sea, city and occasionally our mountain. Your bedrooms and living space are upstairs above the living part of our home, and comes with its own entrance.
Because of the stairs it is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The space
You will have the use of the entire top floor of our Californian bungalow. We only allow one booked group to use the space at one time, so you will not share the space with another group. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms each with a queen bed. You have your own bathroom - shared between Air BnB guests only. A separate living space allows you to relax with a drink, book, watch TV (has Apple and Freeview TV) or enjoy the ever changing view. We have a portable 'dining' trolley/table, small fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, plus the crockery, cutlery etc if you want to heat up food or make breakfast.
If organised beforehand we can provide a continental breakfast for an extra charge.

Guest access
You will have key access to the front door and have the entire top floor to yourselves. If you need us you can knock on the door into the house in the hall/ entrance on the ground floor, text or phone us.

There is a kitchen bench top with cabinets filled with required utensils and food, breakfast is on us with toast, cereal, weetbix etc along with coffee and tea on the house. There is a fridge freezer for you to store food. Please note that the kitchen bench top is equipped with water tap and sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and there is no stove for cooking and we also have a big trampoline for kids, make yourself at home away home. This place is 2.5 kms away from the city center, TSB stadium, very close to Yarrows stadium and New Plymouth Base Hospital.

The space
Apartment Forty Eight is a lovely bright and welcoming Studio Apartment. It is an open plan design which is great for families or group hangs and ideal for those wanting a place to land and enjoy all New Plymouth has to offer. The space is divided into 3 main areas, bedroom/tv, lounge & kitchenette + bathroom.

In our kitchenette you will find all the basics for your stay. Coffee plunger, toaster, jug, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses and cutlery. We also provide a small selection of 'platter-ware' if you are wishing to have a relaxing evening in. Please note that we do not have facilities to heat or cook food.

If you need a work space let us know and we can set that up before you arrive, please note it does not fit with 4 guests.

Lastly, our family lives in the house above and there will be some slight noise especially in the morning. You may also hear some small noises from our upstairs pipes, we have tried to reflect these specifications in our price.
