The space
Welcome to our cosy, split-level apartment retreat, occupying the northern side of a larger home.

Step inside through the front door into a spacious open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area, where a fantastic fireplace keeps the entire home warm and toasty. On the lower level, you'll also find a laundry area and a dedicated drying room—perfect for wet ski gear.

Head upstairs to the second level, where the bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. The two bedrooms are also located here, both kept warm in winter by the fireplace flue. One bedroom features a double bed and wardrobe with scenic views of the farmlands, while the other has a bunk bed and a king single bed.

On confirmation of your booking I will send you the code for the lock box at the back door of the Chalet. In the lock box is a key for the back door.

During your stay
During the winter months my husband and I will be in residence in the other bedroom in wing 1. We enjoy the lodge feel, of our winter home. We are mountain hosts at Whakapapa and enjoy interaction with our quests, in the chalet and on the mountain.

Please use the tables provided and do not take food or drinks into your room.

During the summer our cleaner maintains the Chalet. She lives locally and can be contacted through me if necessary.

Other things to note
As the Chalet has 3 units it maybe busy some nights but there are lots of amenities and plenty of space.

There is no local rubbish collection, however there is a transfer station on the other side of the railway line. Directions and operating hours are at the back of the grey manual.
