The unit had a washing machine, dryer and drying rack, with powder supplied. Plenty of towels for the swimming pool. Shower pressure was good enough. Bathroom a good size. Nice to have a couch that was not leather/PKU (always cold and slippery), with ample cushions for comfort. Bed had ample covers to keep warm with 2 well lit lamps on both sides for easy reading. Liked the black out curtains and nets for when you just wanted to privacy. Unexpected, but very welcome, was the secure car park inside the building. Good recycling and rubbish collection. Lovely owner/manager who was very welcoming and informative. NEGATIVE : Bed was very hard, heated pool was not heated so a bit of a shock to the system when climbed in (just off cold at best)."

Ohope Heights is a two bedroom apartment below the residence of your hosts Linda and Tony Bonne. This apartment is designed for comfort with two super king super comfortable beds, a lounge room with spectacular sea views, Smart TV connected to Sky, Free WiFi, coffee espresso machine, sundeck with a table and chairs, sun umbrella and Weber BBQ for your use. The kitchenette has a microwave, hotplate and electric fry-pan. There is no oven. On arrival you will find fresh fruit, biscuits, bottled water, and our Cavapoo 'Hugo" to welcome you to our picturesque slice of heaven.
All linen is supplied, and we provide beach towels for your beach swim. We have body boards for you to use at your leisure.
Ohope Heights is located up high amongst the Pohutukawa forest over-looking Ohope Beach, and the Central Ohope shops. It is a two minute walk to Cadera, a Mexican restaurant or to The Quay, a beachside cafe. Our favourite restaurant in Ohope is Fishermans Wharf Cafe, a 6.6 km drive and overlooking the Ohiwa Harbour. An amazing experience is a visit to White Island, we are only 5.7 km to Peejays, White island Tours. We are happy to book this for you. If you are into golf then the Ohope International Golf Course is a must. Walking Tracks such as Nga Tapuwae o Toi walkway is at our doorstep. These spectacular bush walkways are not to be missed. Also for the cyclist we have great cycle rides close by.
Tony is the current Mayor of the District so he can help you with information on anything you may want to know, and Linda is a Head of Department at Whakatane High School. They both love meeting people, and sharing a little of their paradise.
Ohope Heights is up one of the steepest driveways in Ohope. It is fine to drive up. Our advice is to select low gear and just simply drive up and park outside the garage of the middle light brown house at the top. You will see our sign Ohope Heights at the top as you approach Ohope Heights.

Our unit is cosy and completely self contained, with separate kitchen and bathroom including laundry. The living area comprises of a lounge opening via sliding doors to your bedroom with Queen bed and wardrobe and dressing table. There is an outside grassed area and clothes line.

We are situated in a quiet street within a 10–15-minute walk to the CBD and New World supermarket. The cottage is also a 5-minute walk away from our picturesque riverside Warren Cole Walkway. We are also a 10 minute drive to one of New Zealand's best beaches.
The cottage is situated at the back of our house but separated by a large deck. You have your own entrance, and for your convenience you can park your car directly outside your door. A BBQ is available for your use, as is a laundry free of charge.

The cottage is also a 5-minute walk away from our picturesque riverside Warren Cole Walkway and a 15 minute drive to one of the best beaches in NZ. The cottage is situated at the back of our house but separated by a large deck. You have your own entrance, and for your convenience you can park your car directly outside your door. A BBQ is available for your use, as is a laundry free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a bench top oven, microwave, electric fry pan, a single hob, a large fridge and all manner of cooking equipment. We will supply a small bottle of milk for the start of your stay together with complimentary, tea and coffee. We accept small dogs –( a further charge will apply if extra cleaning is required due to dog hair being found on the furniture). The property is fully fenced with a gate which will be kept shut so your dog can freely wander outside.
