Having just gone extensive renovations in December 2021, the stylish coastal, and family friendly bach is in an excellent modern condition with heated tiled floors, a new spa pool (Dec 21') excellent indoor outdoor living flow with a large deck/grass area great for BBQ & entertaining, all high end linen included and everything else you need to make your stay one not to be forgotten..

Bedrooms: 2 x bedrooms - main room has 1 x Queen and 2nd room has 1 x Queen with 1 x King Single built in bunk bed above. All linen included. Both bedrooms have Smart Tv's with built in Netflix (account supplied)

Kitchen: All cooking utensils and crockery are supplied. Bosch oven with microwave feature, induction stovetop, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger with Raglan Roast Coffee, selection of teas, hot chocolate, cooking oil, sugar, salt & pepper. Tea towels and dish cloths are supplied.

TV & Internet: Free Wifi available. 3 x Smart Tv’s with Netflix account supplied (lounge & 2 x bedrooms). All TV’s have smart tv capability, including apps like; Freeview, TV OnDemand, Netflix (subscription included), Youtube, Spotify, Neon, internet browsing capability and more.

Deck, Spa & BBQ: The Spa pool has spectacular views of the surf and sunsets. The lounge flows onto the deck which then flows onto the grass providing indoor/outdoor living at its best. The outdoor dining table is a must in the summer evenings or enjoy the outdoor lounge area + coffee table if you feel like sitting in comfort and admiring the views.

Exterior - Yard, Surf Access & Shower: The house is nestled within a sub tropical garden with pathways leading you down to your private gate to the surf. A hot outdoor shower is provided perfect for a wash off after the surf. The entire property is fully fenced making it the perfect place for kids. A large trampoline is also onsite however please note there are no matts around the tramp, adult supervision is advised to avoid injury and we are not responsible for any incidents, you are welcome to use at your own risk.

Carparking: 1 carpark provided inside the property gates, with plenty of street parking available also.

THE WHALE BAY SURF HOUSE - The Whale Bay Surf Bach is the ground floor which sleeps up to 5 guests. Whale Bay Surf House is the upper floor which also can sleep up to 5 guests (seperate listing). There is no internal access between the floors. As the two floors are both airbnbs there will be a strict no noise policy after 10pm. Although the two levels are very private, we thankyou in advance for your understanding of, and respect for the guests on the upper level as well (should it be occupied)

NOTE - Whilst we welcome normal in-house entertainment for our in-house guests, due to both, the facilities available and residential zoning etc, please advise at time of booking of any function, a party, or any event where additional (non resident guests) may arrive, as certain terms will need to be agreed on, thanks.

This property is not ideal for babies/toddlers or young children due to having G Spot Upper apartment upstairs, we prefer to accommodate mature couples for that extra special time out (additional rules apply over Sound Splash festival weekend also).

Please note there are about 15 steps leading down to lower apartment, so if mobility is an issue I suggest you contact property manager to discuss.

Guests are asked to conserve water and do not run taps unnecessarily,use water sparingly..All Manu Bay/Whale Bay area collect rainwater from roof and stored in tanks,no town supply.I supply blankets/duvets, sheets,towels,pillows FROM $13 min per bed or bring your own.This is basic cleaning so guests are ask to tidy up before check out.Any extra cleaning,the fee will be passed on to the guests.Its a simple, no frills apartment.Place is surrounded by trees,bush so sometimes a cobweb and a bug or 2 may pop up.Its out of my control.There is only one tap[cold] in the kitchen(use electric jug to clean dishes etc) The bathroom/shower has hot/cold water.This place will not suit you if you are looking for more Mod.Cons and excellent cleaning .The very low base/ queen size mattress[155cmx200cm]room#1] is NOT a king size plus mattress and is NOT suitable for big couples [people]with large body frames. This type of mattress and base offers limited area and support .If 2 people share bed,No more than 87kg or 190lbs max for either male or female.Salesman advice. No exceptions, sorry. Within walking distance and down some steps is a quiet beach area where guests can enjoy swimming, various fishing spots, free use of a double kayak or a coast walk to the wharf for fish & chips, tide dependant.

The space
We live on site and are happy to help with any requests guests have. We are a 4 minute drive from the centre of Raglan.
You can walk along the shore line, when the tide is right, to Raglan Wharf 20mins or for a longer walk, further on into the town. The flat is north facing, often sun drenched, warm and comfy, attached to but totally independent from the house, with its own view, access and outdoor seating area, so your privacy will be assured. There is parking on site and a large, shared upper deck on the property that guests can have the use of should they wish to. The area we live in has its own, quiet beach area available to residents, which adds to the attraction of Moonlight Bay. If you are looking for a place that makes your stay just that little bit more special, then you won't be disappointed.

In the 2 roomed flat there is a TV which is a smart TV with apps for Nz on demand, YouTube and plays Netflix, as well as some books and games. There is a queen sized bed in the main room and a single bed / day couch in the other room, with a pull out trundled bed underneath. We can also provide a portacot on request as well as a portable high chair. Please also let us know in advance if you are wanting to use our double kayak so we can get the gear ready.

We can also provide a continental breakfast which has cereal, yogurt, toast, spreads and juice for ten dollars per person, with a gluten free option also available. Please let us know in advance if you would like to order this.

We also have lots of info about Raglan, and have put a mini arts trail together for you to enjoy.

One of our hobbies is wine making, and we make a lovely Moonlight Bay Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris, using the delicious Mount Karioi mountain water. Free tasting available on request. :)

We do request that guests leave the flat in a tidy condition as we do not charge a cleaning fee, so as to help keep costs down.

Our home was named Rangimarie, which means at peace in Maori, long before we had the pleasure of moving in, but suits this spot to a tee. A place to rejuvenate, relax and let sitting watching the ocean work its magic. Whether on the deck with a glass of wine or down by the waters edge.

Raglan is a wonderful spot to visit. It has excellent cafes, restaurants and galleries and also evening entertainment on most weekends. It has a music club once a month where locals and visitors can jam the night away. A thriving art scene is also worth exploring, whether it be jewellery, sculpture or something more contemporary - we can provide information for you to browse.
Not only renowned for its surf beaches Raglan also has many wonderful walks that cater for all abilities, bike tracks, evening cruises, caving and lots of fishing spots, it even has a skateboard park for the gromits.

It is worth taking the time to explore everything Raglan has to offer and we look forward to sharing it with you.

All new large two room apartment with separate entrance and 60inch TV with Netflix. Private full bathroom, covered deck and huge area off street parking. Enough parking to accommodate a JetSki or boat on a trailer. We are 10mins walk to town and inner harbour and 10 minutes drive from surf breaks and beaches. Microwave and fridge, coffee and tea. Two blocks from Raglan West Food department for the best coffee and pizza in town.

The space
The main bedroom has a king size bed and the living room has a Queen sofa bed that is brand new, a door is between the rooms. Windows and two sliding doors are all double glazed. The entire place is very quiet and cool with easy parking right outside and a peaceful outlook sitting on the deck. Walls and ceiling has newly installed soundproofing.

Maison Par La Mer is easy to find in Raglan west and from the grounds you have view of the harbour and airstrip. It is single level and no stairs with parking for car and boat.
While staying with us you have full access to the indoor secluded and intimate pool and spa complex 24 hours and access to ground floor deck over looking the harbour and airstrip.
Should you wish to fly to Raglan we can pick you up from the airstrip.
We also provide continental breakfast.

The space
This north facing apartment has it all; views, surf, spa, privacy - absolutely the best location. Ideal for a romantic getaway for a couple. Alternatively to accommodate more guests rent upstairs (G Spot - Upper), combined apartments will sleep up to 4.

Kitchen consists of mini fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and vitroceramic 4 element stove top (no oven). Wall heater in lounge area and oil column in bedroom which keeps apartment all warm and smallere fan for summer, cosy plus an aux cord from speaker to your device (laptop, phone), Sky TV and internet provided.

Modern interior with large bi-folding doors opening onto deck at one end with huge glass panels other end. Private location, so go ahead treat yourselves and come enjoy the ambience this magnificent apartment has to offer.

Sky TV consists of movies, sport, rugby and Sky music channels.

Natural water falls and rock features compliment the native garden landscape. You may be fortunate enough to have our wee bird, the kereru visit you also.

Sauna located at bottom of the garden. PLEASE NOTE: An additional $20/night is required, minimum of 2 nights, if you choose to use the sauna. Sauna is also shared between guests at G Upper and G Lower apartments (booking system applies). If you would like to use sauna, please state on your initial enquiry so we can incorporate price into your quotation.

Please note breakfast is not supplied however we do provide tea, coffee (Raglan Roast plunger coffee) with plunger and bean grinder which is locally made (devine!), sugar, salt, pepper and oil for bbq.

Please note 3 night minimum booking required over long weekends, ie Waitangi, Easter, Anzac, Queens Birthday and Labour Weekend.

This property is not ideal for babies/toddlers or young children due to having G Spot Upper apartment upstairs, we prefer to accommodate mature couples for that extra special time out (additional rules apply over Sound Splash festival weekend also).

Please note there are about 15 steps leading down to lower apartment, so if mobility is an issue I suggest you contact property manager to discuss.
