The space
Pioneer Cabin is built with as much recycled material as possible, located on our property where we also have Enchanted Escape B&B and Santorini Escape B&B. It’s along the main highway to Picton, so there may be traffic noise, especially from ferry traffic. While we’ve done our best to reduce it, it can still be noticeable. We’ve factored this into our pricing and do not charge a cleaning fee.
Inside, you’ll find a record player with records, board games, writing supplies, power, and internet (most phones). There’s also a mini fridge, microwave, and fresh filtered water. Continental breakfast includes muesli, cornflakes, toast, butter, jam, milk, tea, herbal teas, and coffee.
Enjoy the outdoor shower and Bathroom with cassette toilet just steps away. The spa pool is free, and you’re welcome to relax in our new Enchanted Lounge, where you can read, play games, or unwind. We want you to have a unique, relaxing stay and will be available onsite if needed.

Guest access
Enjoy private access to Pioneer Cabin, located away from the main house. You are welcome to use the spa pool and seating areas at no extra charge. The communal Enchanted Lounge is available for your relaxation, reading, or enjoying board games. Free parking is available on the street in a safe, quiet neighborhood.
Other things to note
We have two additional rentals on our property, each with its own unique theme. If you’re traveling as a group of up to six, you can book them together for a shared experience.
Our two friendly cats, Pixie and Tom, may make an appearance during your stay, adding a touch of warmth to the property. You’ll also find three separate bird aviaries housing a charming collection of finches, canaries, and rosellas—perfect for animal lovers to enjoy.
