- "We, as a family stayed in a triple standard room. We were on an upper level with a balcony and great views. The room was a good size for the 4 of us and the bathroom was great. It was handy to have a TV, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle in the room too. Good storage in the wardrobe also. The onsite restaurant was good with dine in or take away options. The staff were friendly and check in and check out was easy! It was a very nice, quiet place to stay. We will definitely stay here again!"

Brand new private studio, separate from the main house, nestled in our established gardens and surrounded by mountain views. A great wee spot for unwinding after a day of cycling the nearby trails or tasting the many famous local wines and Port. You have the whole studio to yourselves with your own ensuite, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster and tea/coffee facilities). Enjoy a wine listening to the abundant birdlife in the evening from your own private deck or wander through the garden tasting our organic produce (seasonal). The night sky is incredible on a clear night as there are no street lights to disturb the clarity. There are plenty of dining out options including the local Bannockburn Hotel and the Black Rabbit cafe only a 5 minute drive away. Also Mt Difficulty and Carrick wineries offer day time dining.

We're right in the heart of Central Otago being only 45 minutes to Wanaka, Queenstown and Arrowtown with Clyde and Alexandra only 25minutes away.

A private studio unit attached to garage - separate from our house with own entrance and outside area. Queen Bed - Tea, coffee and continental breakfast provided. Kitchenette, fully equiped with crockery, cutlery etc - no cooking facility in unit.

The Cottage at Bannockburn House is set in the peaceful haven of Bannockburn, Central Otago. On the doorstep of NZ's premium Central Otago wine area and with Felton Road just 15 minutes walk away, you're in the heart of the Bannockburn Wine region.
Close by, the world-class Highlands Motor Park & Cromwell (7km's), Queenstown, Wanaka, Clyde within 45 minutes drive.
The cottage is a well equipped, restful space in a peaceful country environment, best suited to couples.

The space
The Cottage is a spacious stand alone property with a separate lounge and dining area, queen bedroom and newly renovated (2021) bathroom.
High quality linen on all beds and fluffy towels in the bathroom with extra towels provided if you'd like to go swimming.
A separate hang out room, great for reading, yoga or meditation is also in the cottage.
A couples paradise, sparking clean, super quiet.
Whist not fully self contained as there are no cooking facilities in the cottage (council regulations prohibit), there is a Weber BBQ for guests to enjoy in the courtyard and the kitchen is well stocked with a dish drawer, cutlery, crockery, glasses and service wear. Perfect for platter dining, BBQ or enjoying one of the many good takeaways offerings at your home away from home.
Chef meal delivery is available by prior arrangement (ask us for details)
A full laundry area is available for your exclusive use (no charge).
Your own car parking area is located close to the cottage.
The cottage also has a great selection of books, DVD's and games to keep those who'd like to put their feet up very happy.

The cottage is as described above, separate from other buildings (no shared areas), a spacious and relaxing space for couples to have a home away from home retreat.
Self check in option available. There is separate, dedicated guest parking at the cottage.

Other things to note
We share our home & garden with our very friendly cat, Lenny. He loves a cuddle but is not allowed in guest rooms and you may see him around the property.
As we also host a full bed and breakfast facility at our venue, under the current government Covid-19 protection framework, we will need to sight vaccination certificates for all guests staying on site.
