It was also a concern that although there were coded locks at the entrance gate and the door to the apartment building they were always open so the only security was the coded lock to the apartment itself. There were also a few noticeably unclean areas such as skirting boards, mirrors, under the sofa cushions and a few of the cups."

Timber floors through open plan living dining and kitchen. Crisp bathroom with bath. Walk everywhere convenience. Proportions that are larger than most.

There is wifi although we found it not too reliable and tv with Netflix etc. Overall quaint place and not too bad but maybe needs an update."

This delightful cottage is located at the back of a main residence, yet completely separate and private. It has its own entry down the side of the property (note: approx, 45 stairs) and is nestled in the bush at the edge of the garden. Comprising 2 Queen bedrooms, modern kitchen, bathroom w/ full laundry facilities, TV and WiFi, and a pull-out double sofa bed in the lounge. Beautifully decorated and with a balcony w/ seating, you’ll enjoy the unique serenity in such a great location.
Once you navigate the steps down the side of the main residence you’ll appreciate the privacy of this cosy cottage nestled amongst the trees. Unassuming from the front it reveals its cuteness as soon as you step through the door.
Tastefully decorated, the main living area includes a well-equipped kitchen that includes everything you’d need for an extended stay including a free-standing oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. The room is L-shaped and the backdrop is the full-width verandah looking out to the bush, a lovely green view. The dining suite seats 4 and there is a comfortable leather sofa that opens out to a double sofa bed, plus an armchair, a TV and a coffee table. Overhead is a ceiling fan. Out on the balcony there is further sofa seating. Enjoy a coffee or drinks out here while watching the native birdlife.
Both bedrooms house Queen beds and ceiling fans, and all linen is included. The modern bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet as well as the washing machine and dryer.
With WiFi and use of the garden, all your boxes are ticked!

This is a great location, with Coogee Beach just 1.5km down the road to the east and the cafes and restaurants of Randwick spread along Cook St and Belmore Rd to the south west. There are a multitude of eateries to try, from pubs like The Dog, and Coogee Hotel to take-aways such as pizza, fish and chips, Thai and Vietnamese to fine dining Italian. Get some treats from Tuga Pastries - delicious. Something for everyone!
Coogee Bay supermarket is just down the road or there’s a Woolworths Metro at Randwick. For some retail therapy, head to Westfield at Bondi Junction - the bus only takes 15 minutes - where you’ll find an enormous selection of boutiques. Both Randwick and Coogee also have some boutique stores.
Public transport also includes buses to the city or take the light rail from Randwick.
For more sporty activities, there are some great walks around Centennial Park, along the coast, such as the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, and a selection of nearby golf courses. If going to the races appeals, Royal Randwick Race Course is very close.
It certainly is a terrific location for a staycation! And with a cute pad to head back to after a day out, Inner Glen is right on the money!
- "Our family of 4 with kids(16&14) had 3 nights here. We immediately tried to extend once we saw the property. Really well appointed with everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The icing on the cake was the view out the back verandah into the reserve full of trees and birds. Typical to the eastern suburbs, parking at night was a little challenging, but nothing a bit of searching couldn't fix. Please not the 46 stairs is something you need to consider, but it is well worth it. We will be sure to be back!"

Great for couples or a family, as it has two connected rooms: one a sunroom with a bunk, and the other the main room with a large single bed. A sofa bed in the lounge could also be used as a bed.

This is a really special and mostly newly renovated garden apartment. It is spacious with high ceilings, floating timber floors and lots of beautiful natural light more so in the afternoons. Due to it's aspect, it is naturally nice and cool throughout the Sydney summer. There is a powerful reverse cycle Air Conditioner installed in the living/dining room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom if it gets stifling hot at night in summer.
