The Taylor Swift attendee staff member was just as excited as her fans and cooling drinks and sweeties provided by the hotel, very thoughtful. Additionally we requested the big bed be in the primary bedroom, our request was switched (big bed in small room). This is a safe and lovely place.
Just a block away from the best of Brighton le sands; Chemist, post office, Coles, and a plentiful amount of cafes and ethnic foods, including Thai, sushi, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Mediterranean, Arabic, deserts restaurants, a few fast foods like Oporto, a few chicken shops, burger places, and even health shops and juice bars, and gelato shops like the delicious Messina. Brighton also has an RSL with Mike’s grill, bar and pokeys. Even if you are out everyday you wouldn’t repeat the menu very soon. Food prices are all varied but adjust to any budget constraints. There’s really no need to cook.

The beach is so close, just a block away. Lady Robinson beach is pleasant and calm, and one of the longest beach walks. There are several work out stations and a Poot path along the shoreline if you wanted to go for relaxing walk strolls. Brighton beach is famous for windsurfing. And you’ll find many people doing exercise at times of the day.
There are hair, nail salons and massage places to pamper yourselves. Some of these open till late.

Rockdale plaza with Big W and many other stores inclusive of Service NsW is also nearby.

Transport: half a block away from the bus stop, which a very short 3-5 min ride to the train station, T4 train line. Which takes you to City, in under 20 mins, this train line also goes to Bondi, or shire in the opposite direction. Public transport everyday until 23:00 and night rider buses all night.

The building is (by Australian standards) an old-world, French-style apartment block with only two residential floors, and a florist (smells amazing!) and yoga studio on the ground floor. . This means that it is NOT all brand, shiny and new, but IS comfortable, with a touch of 'shabby chic' charm.
If you can tolerate the less-than-perfect paint work and quirky window frames, you can enjoy the coziness and comfort of your newly-redecorated space, with an ocean beach very close by!
All bedding, towels, and indoor shoes are provided for your stay.

Our street is closed off at the beach end, so you can take advantage of the vibrant beach-side cafe scene and enjoy peace and quiet after dark.
There are numerous eateries ranging from pizza to Aussie seafood to Thai, some of which have outdoor dining areas and cater for a range of budgets.
There are two convenience stores open in the evening and the nearest supermarket is 13 minutes' walk or 2 minutes' drive away.
Sunday mornings we have a fresh food market in the street next to the cafe strip.
Our street also contains a choice of two gyms, beauty salons and even a physiotherapist!

At Maroubra Beach, to minutes' walk from the front door, you can hire surfboards and wetsuits, and treat yourself to a beachside brunch at The Pavilion while watching other people do the surfing!

Guest access
Guests have a private bedroom at the rear of the building, i.e. not facing the street. The bathroom is next to your bedroom and is shared only with your host. It contains a nice, hot shower and a medium-sized bathtub. The washer/dryer is also for guest use.

The kitchen is next to the bedroom. Guest use of the kitchen is limited to the sink and drying rack for washing your dishes. Access from the guest bedroom to the patio dining area is through the kitchen, so you are free to enter anytime.

The small patio dining area contains a table and 2 chairs, with all crockery, glasses, cups and cutlery provided.
There is also a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave with containers for heating food - all for guests' exclusive use.
Your dining area can be used at any time, but please be aware of noise levels and neighbours late in the evening. The patio has large windows with magnificent views of sky and ocean, with the Malabar Headland National Park in the background. Blinds are provided for you to control levels of light and warmth coming in.
No windows on our property have fly screens, but we have little trouble with insects, even in summer, and the blinds tend to keep out the more determined ones, and as another line of defense, we have 'mozzie zappers' in the bedroom and patio area.
You can access the apartment at any time through the front door, but please keep noise to a minimum after 9.30 p.m.

This Pacific Ocean Getaway is a relaxing and invigorating experience. The peaceful and vibrant atmosphere is perfect for a short or longer stay. Great access to sights and essentials.

The space
This unique property is perched on the cliffs on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Fresh air and an amazing atmosphere awaits. The apartment is comfortable and has all you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Public transport is a one minute walk to take you to the fabulous harbour foreshore for walks, swimming and exploring. Catch the ferries to Manly, CBD and many other beautiful locations around the harbour of Sydney. Or the bus to the train line, and ten minutes to the famous Bondi Beach. We have a great local shopping precinct for supermarket, cafes, chemist,and restaurants all a five minute walk from the apartment.

Guests have access to all of the common areas in the apartment. We have the entire top floor, you can use the living space, bathroom, kitchen and the amazing outdoor area where you can sip coffee and watch the fresh and vibrant Pacific Ocean.

The space
You will enter our inner city sanctuary through our huge balcony with a courtyard view perfect for a BBQ dinner or relaxing after exploring the neighbourhood.

There is direct access to your master bedroom from the balcony. Your room has an ensuite bathroom, double bed, a study desk (with screen), TV (with Apple TV with a bunch of streaming options), a lounge and ample luggage storage.

We encourage you to make use of the outdoor balcony space - which has a dining table, bar tables and a BBQ.

In addition to your room, you will be able to use our kitchen, and you are also free to share our dining/living room with us.

During your stay
We love Sydney - know it very well! Always happy to help either in person or via messages.

If your plans align, with our plans - we don't mind a good chat over a meal or a drink.

Other things to note
We are on the first floor without any lift access - which is excellent if you don't like waiting for lifts, but you will need to get your luggage upstairs (they are very wide, so it is super easy).

This is the inner city - it is a busy part of town. Your room will be sheltered from traffic noise as it faces the courtyard within the complex rather than the road. We are next door to one of our local neighbourhood pubs - you may hear some noise during a big sporting event or on a busy Friday/Saturday night.

The bedroom is also next to the shared kitchen+laundry (you will have an ensuite in your room) - there will be some noise when they are in use but not used all the time.
