- "It is everything that is listed on Book a Batch. We had a fabulous time. The location is awesome, right by the lake. We would suggest this venue to anyone." - "The property is a beautiful property and was a pleasure to stay in during our trip to Cromwell. The location was ideal for the activities we had in mind - wine tasting, biking riding Otago Rail Trail, visiting Arrowtown, visiting family in Queenstown. The reason I didn't give this property five starts are: 1. While it said the property had heat, we were not allowed to use the thermostat. Unfortunately, we had several days of rain, and it was cold in the house which was uncomfortable. We emailed the property management company but never received a reply. 2. As I said above, it rained during our stay, and we had to get out buckets to capture the roof leaks. Emailed property management company, but no reply. 3. The fire alarm discharged at around 2am in the morning, this stopped shortly after it started. Never knew why. 4. We were instructed to take the garbage with us without resource for disposal. While there was a garbage can and a recycle can, the garbage can was full and could barely take more refuse. We ended up driving to a nearby holiday park to dispose of some of our garbage. This was very inconvenient. Also, as one pays a cleaning fee, one would expect the disposal of garbage to be included. I removed a star for the lack of heat, the leaking roof, and inconvenient garbage disposal. Also, there were no garbage bins in the bathrooms or bedrooms. I removed another star because Bachcare, the local management company, was nonresponsive, both prior the the visit when I asked about internet access, and during our stay when we emailed about the lack of heat and the roof leaks."

We are happy to welcome guests to our retreat The West Wing at Bannockburn, nestled in the mountains with big sky views. Every room is a frame for views of vineyards, mountains and lake. The west wing includes two queen bedrooms, one bathroom and a gallery space with sink, table, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery, cutlery. Access to patio and bbq also. It is best suited to one or two couples travelling together.

Our house is in the heart of Bannockburn, walking distance to gold tailings.

We have a lodge style house, we occupy the east wing suite. The west wing with 2 queen bedrooms, 1 bathroom is available. Plus the gallery with breakfast facilities. We are happy to host or to leave guests to their own devices.

If you decide to book a private room, you will have access to the guest bathroom, toilet and your bedroom in the West Wing of the house as well as the gallery which has tea/coffee/breakfast facilities.

The Cottage is a spacious stand alone property with a separate lounge and dining area, queen bedroom and newly renovated (2021) bathroom.
High quality linen on all beds and fluffy towels in the bathroom with extra towels provided if you'd like to go swimming.
A separate hang out room, great for reading, yoga or meditation is also in the cottage.
A couples paradise, sparking clean, super quiet.
Whist not fully self contained as there are no cooking facilities in the cottage (council regulations prohibit), there is a Weber BBQ for guests to enjoy in the courtyard and the kitchen is well stocked with a dish drawer, cutlery, crockery, glasses and service wear. Perfect for platter dining, BBQ or enjoying one of the many good takeaways offerings at your home away from home.

A unique set up with private entrance consisting of a self-contained tiny house and a 7m yurt. The two sit side by side on a raised wooden deck where you can enjoy the sunset and have a glass of wine made by the hosts who are both winemakers.
A small wood burner, heater and full insulation mean this property will keep you cosy in winter time.

The Tiny House has a kitchenette, with small 2 seater breakfast bar, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a snug lounge area. Enjoy your coffee outside on the covered verandah.

It also has a modern bathroom with a mezzanine upstairs, that is 1/2 height with a queen size bed. Please be aware there is no hand rail for the stairs.

The yurt boasts a spacious lounge area with great view of the hills and garden.
