Our cottage has been newly renovated and now features two rooms, a separate bathroom, large kitchen/dining and living spaces. A private area out the back with space for the kids and of course central to all that Cromwell and surrounds has to offer.

The bedrooms both feature a four poster bed, ine King and one queen sized, wardrobes and separate smart tv systems.

The lounge, dining and kitchen areas are all one space which makes it an excellent place for people to chill out and relax. Big sliding doors and windows to the outside give it a real natural flow to the outside.

Outside there is a private patio area under shade sails, featuring a bar leaner setup. Lots of grassed area for kids to play on and almost fully fenced.

Featuring a garden, Bannock Brae Vineyard Cottage provides accommodations in Cromwell. The air-conditioned accommodation is 4.9 miles from Central Otago District Council, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary Wifi. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. Providing a terrace and mountain views, the guest house includes 2 bedrooms, a living room, satellite flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchenette, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. We are happy to welcome guests to our retreat The West Wing at Bannockburn, nestled in the mountains with big sky views. Every room is a frame for views of vineyards, mountains and lake. The west wing includes two queen bedrooms, one bathroom and a gallery space with sink, table, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery, cutlery. Access to patio and bbq also. It is best suited to one or two couples travelling together.

Our house is in the heart of Bannockburn, walking distance to gold tailings.

The space
We have a lodge style house, we occupy the east wing suite. The west wing with 2 queen bedrooms, 1 bathroom is available. Plus the gallery with breakfast facilities. We are happy to host or to leave guests to their own devices.

Guest access
If you decide to book a private room, you will have access to the guest bathroom, toilet and your bedroom in the West Wing of the house as well as the gallery which has tea/coffee/breakfast facilities.

- A walk through the historical mining ruins and sluicing which are visible from the house

Close by, the world-class Highlands Motor Park & Cromwell (7km's), Queenstown, Wanaka, Clyde within 45 minutes drive.
The cottage is a well equipped, restful space in a peaceful country environment, best suited to couples.

The space
The Cottage is a spacious stand alone property with a separate lounge and dining area, queen bedroom and newly renovated (2021) bathroom.
High quality linen on all beds and fluffy towels in the bathroom with extra towels provided if you'd like to go swimming.
A separate hang out room, great for reading, yoga or meditation is also in the cottage.
A couples paradise, sparking clean, super quiet.
Whist not fully self contained as there are no cooking facilities in the cottage (council regulations prohibit), there is a Weber BBQ for guests to enjoy in the courtyard and the kitchen is well stocked with a dish drawer, cutlery, crockery, glasses and service wear. Perfect for platter dining, BBQ or enjoying one of the many good takeaways offerings at your home away from home.
Chef meal delivery is available by prior arrangement (ask us for details)
A full laundry area is available for your exclusive use (no charge).
Your own car parking area is located close to the cottage.
The cottage also has a great selection of books, DVD's and games to keep those who'd like to put their feet up very happy.

We share our home & garden with our very friendly cat, Lenny. He loves a cuddle but is not allowed in guest rooms and you may see him around the property.
As we also host a full bed and breakfast facility at our venue, under the current government Covid-19 protection framework, we will need to sight vaccination certificates for all guests staying on site.

Perfect place to relax and unwind or swim in the lake. Wine tasting rooms on your doorstep, cycle trail is a stone’s throw away. Walk the historic gold mining DOC ‘sluicings’ track .

A unique set up with private entrance consisting of a self-contained tiny house and a 7m yurt. The two sit side by side on a raised wooden deck where you can enjoy the sunset and have a glass of wine made by the hosts who are both winemakers.
A small wood burner, heater and full insulation mean this property will keep you cosy in winter time.

The Tiny House has a kitchenette, with small 2 seater breakfast bar, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a snug lounge area. Enjoy your coffee outside on the covered verandah.

It also has a modern bathroom with a mezzanine upstairs, that is 1/2 height with a queen size bed. Please be aware there is no hand rail for the stairs.

The yurt boasts a spacious lounge area with great view of the hills and garden.
It has a queen sized bed and a dining table for four people.


Please be aware its a working rural environment with the odd tractor, vineyard crew and happy harvest workers

As you open the door to this idyllic holiday home, prepare yourself for the breathtaking outlook that awaits. Floor to ceiling glass provides the perfect artwork for the open-plan living spaces, while stylish furnishings create a modern yet comfortable design throughout.

Make yourself a cuppa and sink into the leather couch with a book; you might get a few pages to read if you can drag your eyes off the view. Or, get comfy in the TV room, log in to your Netflix account on the Smart TV and free WIFI, and catch up on that show everyone’s been talking about.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you’ll need to prepare delicious holiday meals, or serve up a charcuterie platter to accompany the Pinot Noir you picked up at a local vineyard. A butler’s kitchen provides plenty of storage, and the open-plan design means no-one needs to be left out of the conversation.

Four bedrooms offer everyone their own space to retreat to here at Vino and Views. Each with a queen bed and doors that open out to the balcony and its stunning valley views, the master also features an ensuite bathroom. A second bathroom offers a large shower, as well as a luxurious stand-alone tub to soak in.

The whole home is kept warm and toasty on those mid-year getaways thanks to heat pumps and a heat exchange system. On those hot summer days either turn on the air-conditioning or open up the windows and doors and let the mountain breeze flow through.

The outdoor living spaces here at Vino and Views are simply spectacular. With a long deck along the length of the house and a sheltered spot that wraps around the living room, there are a plethora of options to enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation. Spark up the BBQ and dine alfresco as the sun goes down.

Vino and Views is perfectly located to enjoy the nearby vineyards, restaurants, and cafes, while still offering you your own slice of paradise to enjoy. Cromwell is only five minutes away by car, and a nearby river inlet is ideal for jet-skiing and swimming. There are also lovely walking trails offering the perfect spot to stretch the legs and take in the scenery.

Prepare yourself for lashings of luxury and a panoramic vista you won’t want to leave. This is Vino and Views.

Other things to note
There is a section of the deck without a barrier, where there is a small drop on to grass and a steep slope down a rocky bank. All guests should take care when using this area due to the risk of falls, and children should be closely monitored.

Guests should be aware the pictured fireplace and garage is not available for use.

Access to this property is via a steep, metal driveway.
