Based on the outskirts of Waimate township we have a detached modern guest accommodation on 4 acre lifestyle block, sleeps 5 comfortably (7 if use pullout couch). 10 minute walk into the heart of the town. Pet friendly. Sorry no kitchen available. Only basic toaster, kettle and bar fridge. BBQ available on request.

Our open plan Portacottage provides a comfortable and relaxing stay. As well as the basics to make you feel more than at home, we are also able to cater for your most loved pet providing they can sleep outside. We also have paddocks to accommodate horses. (Summer months only) There is lots to see and do, Ollie the horse loves carrots, the cats may come and visit, calves need patting and at times we have sheep and lambs to play with. We offer breakfast when stays are for a minimum of two nights.

The space
We can offer off street parking for added security and self contained accommodation that can be as private as you wish. The Portacottage has one queen bed.
We are happy to provide you with information about the local area including things to see and do, places for dining including the location of the local supermarket should you choose to cook yourself dinner in the portacottage. Hotel meals are available at the local Studholme Hotel. (Wed - Sun). If you choose to venture into Waimate township there is a selection of eateries to choose from.

Guest access
You have full access to the portacottage, and are able to park your vehicle next to your accommodation. You are welcome to wander around the tracks and driveways as you wish which means you can easily see the animals we are raising at the time. Andrew and I will let you know on arrival any areas that we wish not to be accessed.
Due to Health and Safety requirements the sheds on the farm are non guest areas.

Other things to note
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and must sleep in the kennel provided (not in the Portacottage).
If you wish to bring your horse, we have a yard area or a paddock that we can temporarily fence to a preferred size, access to water and a small supply of meadow hay if needed. (Summer months only) There is an area by our yards where trailers/trucks can be parked securely, but please give advance notice.
