This 1900s villa is set up for both relaxing and business trips, families with older children, couples or small groups. It has plenty of character from the gardens to the decor. It sits on a tree lined street with a creek behind it. From the deck you will hear the birds chirping and water running while you cook on the bbq. The cottage garden is charming when in bloom. The house is comfortable and cosy in winter with a wood burner and heat pump. The bedrooms have panel heaters and there is a heat transfer system which can keep the house at a comfortable temperature. The beds have hypoallergenic mattress and pillow protectors and quality cotton sheets with bedding for all temperatures. The apartment, especially the kitchen, is filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The street fronting the building can be a bit busy with daily traffic between Port Chalmers and Dunedin, but the double pane windows kept the apartment quiet. The owner is an easy gentlemen to deal with. He is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The apartment is exactly as listed. My home is 15" walk to town, 20" university, polytech: stadium 25". Bus stop nearby. Perfect for: couples, explorers, business/conference travelers, peaceful/ healing for the travel weary. Kia Ora. This is a quiet and relaxed neighbourhood, this desirable Dunedin location has lots of nice cafes and bars.

We have plenty of on-street free parking, for those on foot its 1.6 km to the city, which is a 20 min walk or 14 mins on the bus.

You can use all the house apart from two private bedrooms. We are kid friendly and have a large play room and outside playground.

We live in the house and are happy to help in any way. Just ask! 😊. I work full time so am not available in person during work days. I will often have to leave in the morning before your check out. Please help yourself to food in the kitchen for breakfast.

Our home is a 7-8 minute drive to Forsyth Barr stadium, the hospital, Otago University and a 10 minute drive to the CBD. It is in a lovely quiet street with great rural views located in Pine Hill. The guest suite has a large bedroom. The bathroom and kitchenette are separate from bedroom and are accessed through the hall/garage. Public transport is a 5 minute walk away taking you into the centre of town. There are movies, documentaries and sports channels available on the television.

The space
This is a self contained studio apartment with a large bedroom which is warm and very comfortable. There is a kitchenette with a single induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, convection microwave with top and bottom elements, toaster and jug for guests to prepare their meals. The only shared area is the laundry which is used by the host also.

Guest access is through a door directly into the room. There is a lockbox for the key
