The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. The sea is warm but very wavy when we were there, my boys loved it! At the other end of the beach here’s a Roman villa that is open to look around and has lots of information. Up the hill is the ‘old town’ that is definitly worth an explore as well - if the heat allows! It was also really easy to get the train there from Barcelona airport. (Change at Barcelona-Sants then it’s just over an hour) and it was less than a 5 min walk to the station so we were able to discover lots of the local area. Tarragona is fantastic for Roman ruins! We clearly enjoyed it! "

During our stay we noticed the coffee maker was broken ( probably from the previous guests); we told to the owner and next day we had a new one. Thank you so much Mrs Josephina for arranging this so quickly. When we used the dishwasher for the first time, there was a power outage. We informed the owner and she sent an electrician the next day. The dishwasher was broken during our stay ( or probably before) but the owner said a new one will be bought after our leave. It did not bother us too much, as we mostly had breakfast in the house. The only small problem, i found it is a bit annoying to communicate with the cleaning lady ( she does the check in; check out also) but she speaks only Spanish. So if you do not speak Spanish, it is very difficult to understand each other. We speak English, French, Italian and Romanian. Unfortunately we do not speak Spanish. We communicated with Mrs Josefina ( the owner ) in French and in the end there were no problems. Thank you again Mrs Josefina for allowing us staying in your beautiful house. I hope to come back again."
