I received the instructions at 12:30AM. THE DAY OF THE BOOKING! Good thing the other place let me cancel, free or charge. They say they have wifi, but they don't. On the check in instructions it gives you what to search for, that doesn't even pop up. Then you ask for help and they send you other instructions and it STILL doesn't work. Asked one last time and they responded with "Okay, thanks for letting me know." We tried watching Netflix, but we needed a pin to download the app. Ask the property for the pin and they asked to come in person. We said no. They asked if they had permission to enter to unit while we were gone and we said NO. When we came back to the apartment, the Netflix app was downloaded. The only way for that to happen was if someone from the property came in while we were gone and put in the pin. Totally unacceptable. I would not book here ever again. A lot of the furniture was damaged too. No filtered water either. The price may look right, but trust that get what you pay for. "

I say this as you might have a similar situation. We found the kitchen to be lacking in large cookware for a big group and ended up purchasing a large pan and a Pyrex 9x13 pan. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house fit our needs other than the two points above. The property manager is very responsive."

- "Nice" - "No early check-in or check-out. They won't provide extra linens or towels. There wasn't even proper bed sheets. They didn't have a flat sheet. There was no heat and when I sent a text and tried to call I got no response. I finally found a couple of space heaters in the utility closet and used those for 3 days. - "The property is undergoing construction to fix the front stairs so it was quite noisy. (Thankfully the owner advises this in the description) There is no parking spot available for your stay so you are advised to park on street by the owner, however, following their instruction resulted in multiple parking tickets which the owner refused to reimburse. The property smells like weed and there is minimal lighting resulting in feeling unsafe. Inside is clean and was redone well; however there is no air circulation in the bedroom. In the summer this is unbearable so we had to purchase a fan to make it livable. I would not recommend or stay here again- better off in a hotel."

- "We received notice after the booking — after the property had taken our money apologizing that the “railing was being refinished”. OK. We arrived at the property. Well. That was the understatement of the century. The entire front of the apartment building was under construction. In fact the unit front door was nailed shut with a 2x4. It was not a safe unit. Probably not ready for occupancy by local fire code. We stayed at the local Hyatt at our own expense. VRBO was sent the photos of the disheveled front of the unit. VRBO immediately refunded their part of the rental fee. The unit owner kept the money (90%) It is currently under dispute with my credit card company. One more thing. The owner repeatedly connected with me via direct text to my cell. I asked her to communicate through the VRBO portal only. Be smart and make sure the communications stay inside the portal."
