- "We booked this house as a base for seeing the Tour de France and for the nearby cycling routes in the Pyrenees. It was in the perfect location and the local towns and villages are superb! Trying to organise payment for this property was difficult from the outset. The owner didn't seem to have clue what the process was. Eventually I had to make two separate bank transfers. I have used HomeAway.com on several occasions and this was by far the most complicated process. We were disappointed to find on arrival there were no towels or bath mats in the property, not even a dish towel! We had to buy these ourselves which is very unusual for a rental property. The house was well equipped, however it lacked any form of storage space in the kitchen which meant food had to be left on the work tops. The property was advertised to have ceiling fans, it does not. The shower leaked terribly which made the bathroom floor dangerous to walk across. A bath mat would have been useful... Despite the payment process being difficult and a lack in basic facilities, the property was sufficient for what we needed it for. I would return to the area but I would choose a different place to stay."
