- "Would have welcomed coffee /tea making facilities in room" - "This was an oasis in the Pyrenees. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent and within walking distance to anything in town one would want to do. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious, clean with a picturesque view on the street. The owners of the hotel have (unlike a fair amount of hotels in the Pyrenees we have visited) taken the time and effort to modernize the hotel with updates in elevators, WiFi, furniture and fixtures. The entire staff bent over backwards to make our stay one to remember. We speak French, but the staff is limited in this regard to some degree. I am sure that in the grand scheme of things this would not be much of an issue as they could certainly make due. The hike from Pont D'Espangne to the Lac de Gaube was wonderful and easily accessible from the hotels location. We drove to the parking, however the gondola access was within walking distance. There is no way to overstate how much I wish we would have known how nice this hotel was. We most certainly would have stayed much longer."
