- "The best part of this apartment is the huge balcony overlooking the banks of the Gers river and gazing up at the cathedral. It's an easy, short walk up to the historic center. Groceries and services are all within a 5-10 min walk. The apartment is modern and comfortable and I would absolutely stay again. Patrick, the host, speaks great English and is very warm, friendly, accommodating. He provided free bottled water, plenty of living supplies. My only two caveats: 1) I didn't find any cooking utensils, scissors or cutting knives and, 2) the elevator opens directly into the apartment with no locked door (my understanding is that Patrick and his wife are the only other people in the building, so I had no issues with privacy and security, but the arrangement may make some solo travelers uncomfortable)."
