- "It was our first visit to Beddgelert and we absolutely loved staying in the 'Beddgelert House' cottage. The cottage was beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean. Having two bathrooms is definitely a plus point. The host (Jackie) was very helpful, always reachable and excellent at communication. It was so lovely of the host to leave a generously large and delicious cake on our arrival and extending the checkout time by 30 minutes on our departure. I would highly recommend the Beddgelert House and would definitely love to stay again."

- "We stayed a week in this lovely cottage in Beddgelert, everything you need in this home from home, although there is a small extra charge for bedding and towels if you don't want to take your own. Parking is on street so didn't always get a space outside, the kitchen could do with blinds or curtains as you can straight in, and the outside seating area could be better but these are just minor things. Its a beautiful village made better by the super weather we had, and a great base for exploring this part of Wales."

- "Had great walks in the surrounding...e.g.Moel hedog, Abadaron....you need to bring your food if selfcatering, there is no shop in Bedgellert, weather better than the forecast...;-)" - "We couldn’t fault the cottage. Absolutely spotless and full of character. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to enjoy the patio but was lovely looking at the river from the kitchen window. Beddgelert village itself is like something you see on a postcard, so picturesque with lovely little shops and coffee shops. We would love to return!"

- "We had a fabulous week in Snowdonia, just before Wales went into its 'firebreaker'. The standard of accommodation at Glan -Y-Gors was outstanding as was its location. The views from the house were breathtaking in such a peaceful location. Great care and attention had been taken to ensure we had a very trouble -free and relaxing week. The owner contacted us after our first night to check the underfloor heating had been comfortable for us and he altered it when I said it was slightly too warm. He kept in discrete contact with us should we had required any immediate assistance which was very reassuring. The rain shower and bathroom were luxurious as was the spacious lounge with its amazing log burner. The outside space was gorgeous with comfortable chairs to sit and take in the views. Plenty of local walks right from the front door as well as being a very short drive to walk to Snowden and also to the coast. We (2 of us and a dog) felt very blessed to have found this place at very short notice (due to a last minute cancellation) and were able to visit a stunning part of the world during such difficult times. - "Absolutely cracking place to stay in Beddgelert. We were right beside a narrow gauge railway (The Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) or Rheilffordd Eryri) and had the River Glaslyn and the grave of Gelert on the other side. The one bedroom holiday cottage has a landscaped enclosed garden which is great for the dog, and also stops the sheep coming in. The cottage has got a woodburning stove, but also C.H. too which gets toasty inside pretty quickly. It has an dedicated integral laundry/drying room, which is a very handy piece of kit when you get back soaked from a walk in the countryside. The hosts Alison and Steve are a delightful couple, and are onsite if any help is required."

- "The Flat looks exactly like the photos, very easy to find, as above a restaurant. The village is quite small with not a lot there, and only a small convenience store so take all essentials. The flat was perfect for cooking but enjoyed a meal at the Saracens Head pub a couple of doors away. Views of the mountains from the windows of the flat which were beautiful and check in was as described and really clean. We had the perfect stay. - "great cottage in a great place" - "A lovely cottage in a great location, just on the edge of the stunning village of Beddgelert. There’s plenty of space in the cottage, two bathrooms and a great fireplace. The outside area is more limited, however, with steep steps to a small balcony area. There are also quite steep steps inside the property that we’re fine for most of our family, but the more elderly struggled at times." - "Amazing location, beautiful and comfy cottage. Ideal for a family getaway and lots of adventures nearby in this picturesque and dramatic part of the world. Would definitely recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"

A picture perfect stone cottage in the heart of Snowdonia with views across Llyn Gwynant. Wood Burning stove and plenty of books to warm & relax after a long walk. Local amenities 5 minute drive in Beddgelert.
In the heart of Snowdonia, this picturesque stone cottage has stunning views of the lake and mountains. Facing down the valley, it looks across Lake Gwynant, which is fringed with trees, to the mountains that rise from the shore. This wonderful view can be enjoyed from the fireside or from the garden.
"The archetypal stone cottage with a breathtaking view. Pantlleni gives one a sense of time standing still, it is charming & not 21st century inside, and I love it!"
Pantlleni is very much a simplistic retreat, best suited to those who truly enjoy and appreciate the history and unique charm of traditional Welsh stone cottages. You won't find the latest mod-cons or furnishings, but if you don't mind getting back to the basic necessities you will certainly find a sense of relaxation from the tranquil surroundings of this old cottage.
The holiday cottage makes a great, albeit simple base for those looking to explore the local area. Step outside and breathe in the fresh mountain air - why not pack a picnic and while away a warm summer day by the picturesque Llyn Gwynant? You could even take a paddleboard or canoe along and have a sail on the lake if you're feeling particularly adventurous!
Close to Llanberis, Capel Curig and Beddgelert, Pantlleni is perfectly placed for exploring Snowdonia by car, or for walking the many footpaths that lead to the peaks and along the valley. About half an hour's drive away are the sandy beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula; golf, horse riding and fishing are close by.
Amenities: Views across Llyn Gwynant. Wood Burning stove, initial supply of kindling and logs, central heating, No TV, off road parking, Stanley range, electric hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, garden, garden furniture, BBQ Local amenities 5 minute drive in Beddgelert. Bed linen provided. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. Please note: Towels are no longer provided.
Town: The tiny hamlet of Nant Gwynant is situated in the Nant Gwynant Valley, surrounded by some of the most dramatic and beautiful scenery in the whole of the Snowdonia National Park. Overlooked by the Snowdon, Yr Aran and Moel Hebog mountains and with wonderful wooded valleys, towering rocky slopes, hidden lakes and waterfalls all providing magnificent views, this is a fantastic location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Enjoy climbing, walking and mountain biking, with one of the main routes for ascending Snowdon, via the famous Watkin Path, starting in the valley. Nearby is Beddgelert, regarded as one of the most attractive villages in the United Kingdom and named after the famous legend of Gelert the dog. This lovely riverside village boasts quality pubs and eating houses as well as excellent outdoor pursuit centres, offering a variety of activities. Close by are wonderful beaches, castles, National Trust properties, slate caverns, mountain railways and the Portmeirion Italianate Village.
- "Enjoy being cut off from the world (no TV, no mobile, no wiFi), bring plenty of old clothes and make sure you grab some food and logs for the burner before you come." - "This cottage is in a beautiful location, and the break from Wifi and TV was fine. Do bear in mind though that there is no data at all in this area of Snowdonia - so you will not even be able to check the weather unless you go to a nearby village. There may have been a breakdown of communication with the booking as we had one two few beds made for us in the kids room and the one that was made didn't looked changed. The price was high for our three nights, otherwise we wouldn't mention. The main bedroom was clean and bed very comfortable. The main driveway was very dodgy so we drove in and out via the Youth Hostel next door which was shut for lockdown. Basically - if you are ok with managing an old-fashioned life for a bit, working a Stanley stove (fine for me!) and washing up as there is no dishwasher - then you will love the location. We certainly did - we climbed Snowdon which is nearby and had a wonderful time. The nearest village Beddgelert is quaint with lots of good eating options. The peace and quiet was lovely and we would certainly return!"
